Membrane gas separation is considered an energy-saving technique to extract He from natural gas due to no phase change and room temperature ***,the membrane performance was strongly limited by the trade-off between permeance and ***,novel 4,4′-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride(6FDA)-2,2′-bis(3-amino-4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane(APAF)-5-amino-2-(4-aminobenzene)benzimidazole(BIA)asymmetric membranes with a thickness of 300 nm were successfully prepared by the non-solvent induced phase separation *** membrane performance was modulated by regu.ating dope solution compositions(e.g.,tetrahydrofuran and polymer concentration).The ideal He/CH_(4) selectivity was 124 and the optimized He permeance reached 87 GPU,beyond the current upper ***/CH_(4) selectivity was 75 and He permeance was 73 GPU for the binary mixture feed containing 0.2 mol%*** membrane showed good resistance to CO_(2) and C_(2)H_(6),which are the typical impurities in natural *** 6FDA-APAF-BIA membranes have good stability(>160 h),which can provide great potential in He extraction from natural gas.

Supply chain resilience(SCR)refers to a supply chain's(SC's)ability to recover from disruptions timely and *** study uses a combination of contingency and configu.ation approaches to examine the direct and contingent relationships between SCR dimensions(i.e.,internal,supplier,and customer resilience)and *** analyzes survey data collected from 206 Chinese *** results show that the three SCR dimensions are positively related to customer satisfaction,whereas customer resilience has no direct contribution to financial *** resilience moderates the relationship between supplier resilience and performance(negative for customer satisfaction and positive for financial performance).A taxonomy for SCR was developed based on internal,supplier,and customer resilience,providing a holistic perspective for examining the performance discrepancies among four different SCR patterns:high externalleaning,high uniform,medium uniform,and low *** findings offer insights for managers in building SCR from the crisis-management process.

Clostridium autoethanogenum protein(CAP)is a promising protein source for aquaculture;however,how CAP influences fish quality is worth extensive *** randomly allocated 630 turbot with initial body weights of about 180 g into 6 groups,with fishmeal-based control diet or diet with CAP replacing 15%(CAP15),30%(CAP30),45%(CAP45),60%(CAP60),or 75%(CAP75)of fishmeal *** a 70-d feeding trial,the fillet yield(P=0.015)and content of protein(P=0.017),collagen(P 0.05).By contrast,the muscle hardness increased linearly with increasing CAP(P=0.004),accompanied by linear reduction of muscle fiber area(P=0.003)and expression of myogenesis-related genes,including cathepsin D(ctsdPe ring finger protein 1(murf 1,Pein kinase B(Akt,Pet of rapamycin(TOR,P=0.001),eukaryotic initiation factor 4e-binding protein 1(4e-BP1,Pein S6(S6,Pecreased linearly;however,phosphorylation of AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK,Peukaryotic initiation factor 2α(eIF2α,Pe abundance of activating transcription factor 4(ATF4,Peased with increasing CAP,suggesting that the TOR signaling pathway was inhibited,and the amino acid response(AAR)and AMPK pathways were ***,expression of genes related to protein degradation,including myogenic factor 5(myf 5,Penic differentiation(myod,Ped box 7(pax 7,Pecreased linearly with increasing *** conclusion,CAP could be used to replace up to 15%of fishmeal without negatively impacting turbot ***,higher levels of CAP decreased fillet yield,muscle protein content,and muscle fiber diameter while increasing muscle hardness,which could be attributed to the inhibition of the TOR pathway and activation of the AAR and AMPK pathways.

The recently discovered ATi_(3)Bi_(5)(A=Cs,Rb)exhibit intrigu.ng quantum phenomena including superconductivity,electronic nematicity,and abundant topological ***_(3)Bi_(5)present promising platforms for studying kagome superconductivity,band topology,and charge orders in parallel with *** this work,we comprehensively analyze various properties of ATi_(3)Bi_(5)covering superconductivity under pressure and doping,band topology under pressure,thermal conductivity,heat capacity,electrical resistance,and spin Hall conductivity(SHC)using first-principles *** superconducting transition temperature(Tc)of CsTi_(3)Bi_(5)and RbTi_(3)Bi_(5)at ambient pressure are about 1.85 and 1.92 *** subject to pressure,Tc of CsTi_(3)Bi_(5)exhibits a special valley and dome shape,which arises from quasi-two-dimensional compression to three-dimensional isotropic compression within the context of an overall decreasing ***,Tc of RbTi_(3)Bi_(5)can be effectively enhanced up to 3.09 K by tuning the kagome van Hove singu.arities(VHSs)and flat band through *** can also induce abundant topological surface states at the Fermi energy(eF)and tune VHSs across ***,our transport calculations are in excellent agreement with recent experiments,confirming the absence of charge density ***,SHC of CsTi_(3)Bi_(5)can reach up to 226h·(e·Ω·cm)^(-1)at *** work provides a timely and detailed analysis of the rich physical properties for ATi_(3)Bi_(5),offering valuable insights for further experimental verifications and investigations in this field.

Responses of runoff to changes in climate and human activities in the Liuhe River Basin, China

Since the 1950s,numerous soil and water conservation measures have been implemented to control severe soil erosion in the Liuhe River Basin(LRB),*** these measures have protected the upstream soil and water ecological environment,they have led to a sharp reduction in the downstream flow and the deterioration of the river ecological ***,it is important to evaluate the impact of soil and water conservation measures on hydrological processes to assess long-term runoff *** the Soil and Water Assessment Tool(SWAT)models and sensitivity analyses based on the Budyko hypothesis,this study quantitatively evaluated the effects of climate change,direct water withdrawal,and soil and water conservation measures on runoff in the LRB during different periods,including different responses to runoff discharge,hydrological regime,and flood *** runoff series were divided into a baseline period(1956-1969)and two altered periods,i.e.,period 1(1970-1999)and period 2(2000-2020).Human activities were the main cause of the decrease in runoff during the altered periods,contributing 86.03%(-29.61 mm),while the contribution of climate change was only 13.70%(-4.70 mm).The impact of climate change manifests as a decrease in flood volume caused by a reduction in precipitation during the flood *** of two flood cases indicated a 66.00%-84.00%reduction in basin runoff capacity due to soil and water conservation measures in the upstream *** and water conservation measures reduced the peak flow and total flood volume in the upstream runoff area by 77.98%and 55.16%,respectively,even with nearly double the *** runoff coefficient in the reservoir area without soil and water conservation measures was 4.0 times that in the conservation *** results contribute to the re-evaluation of soil and water conservation hydrological effects and provide important gu.dance for water resource planning and water conservation policy formu

Molting and metamorphosis are important physiological processes in insects that are tightly controlled by ecdysone receptor(ecR)through the 20-hydroxyecdysone(20e)signaling *** is a steroid nuclear receptor(SR).Several FK506-binding proteins(FKBPs)have been identified from the mammal SR complex,and are thought to be involved in the subcellular trafficking of ***,their roles in insects are poorly *** explore whether FKBPs are involved in insect molting or metamorphosis,we injected an FKBP inhibitor(FK506)into a lepidopteran insect,Spodoptera litura,and found that molting was inhibited in 61.11%of the larvae,and that the time for larvae to pupate was significantly extended.A total of 10 FKBP genes were identified from the genome of *** and were clustered into 2 distinct groups,according to their subcellular localization,with FKBP13 and FKBP14 belonging to the endoplasmic reticulum(eR)group and with the other members belonging to the cytoplasmic(Cy)*** the CyFKBPs were significantly upregu.ated in the prepupal or pupal stages,with the opposite being observed for the eR group ***506 completely blocked the transfer of ecR to the nucleus under 20e induction,and significantly downregu.ated the transcriptional expression of many 20e signaling genes.A similar phenomenon was observed after RNA interference of2 CyFKBPs(FKBP45 and FKBP12b),but not for *** together,our data indicate that the cytoplasmic FKBPs,especially FKBP45 and FKBP12b,mediate the nuclear localization of ecR,thereby regu.ating the 20e signaling and ultimately affecting molting and metamorphosis in insects.
