Diversity-oriented synthesis is a powerful and interesting synthetic tool for the rapid construction of structurally complex and privileged scaffolds from readily accessible starting *** date,diversity-oriented synthesis mostly relies on the employment of versatile *** reagents can be regu.ated as controllable and flexible building blocks for multipurpose *** the past decade,a variety of multifunctional reagents have been ***,most versatile reagents usually need multi-step synthesis,thus restricting their wide application to a large *** terms of the practicalities and universalities,we prefer to pay more attention to the utilization of simple and practical versatile reagents with multiple reactivities,mainly including atropaldehyde acetals,aryl methyl ketones,vinylene carbonate,vinyl azides,aryldiazonium salts,rongalite,halodifluoromethyl *** importantly,these versatile reagents can also play different roles simultaneously in the same reaction,in which their different reactivities are converged into the final target *** strategy can not only offer more possibilities for the synthesis of several active pharmaceutical ingredients,but also minimize the occurrence of some side reactions by lessening the varieties of ***,a perspective is given at the end of this review.

Compressed Data Separation via ℓ_(q)-Split Analysis with ℓ_(∞)-Constraint

In this paper,we study compressed data separation(CDS)problem,i.e.,sparse data separation from a few linear random *** propose the nonconvex ℓ_(q)-split analysis with ℓ_(∞)-constraint and 0e algorithm ℓ_(q)-split-analysis Dantzig selector(ℓ_(q)-split-analysis DS).We show that the two distinct subcomponents that are approximately sparse in terms of two different dictionaries could be stably approximated via the ℓ_(q)-split-analysis DS,provided that the measurement matrix satisfies either a classical D-RIP(Restricted Isometry Property with respect to Dictionaries and ℓ_(2) norm)or a relatively new(D,q)-RIP(RIP with respect to Dictionaries and ℓ_(q)-quasi norm)condition and the two different dictionaries satisfy a mutual coherence condition between *** the Gaussian random measurements,the measurement number needed for the(D,q)-RIP condition is far less than those needed for the D-RIP condition and the(D,1)-RIP condition when q is small enough.

A study on carbon emission calculation in operation stage of residential buildings based on micro electricity usage behavior:Three case studies in China

Along with the improvement of social productivity and living standard,residential buildings generate a growing portion of carbon emissions,especially during the operation ***,energy use behaviors are usually ignored in carbon emission *** study focuses on calculating carbon emissions during the operation stage for residential buildings based on the characteristics of energy use behaviors in different ***,we investigated energy use behaviors in dwellings across three cities in China:Xi'an,Shanghai and ***,we established calibrated carbon emission models and optimization models with different green building measures for residential *** results of this research reveal a significant disparity between the energy usage habits of residents in different climate *** carbon emissions of residential electricity bills in Xi'an,Shanghai and Fuzhou are 13.6 kgCO_(2)/(m^(2)·a)(excluding central heating),29.3 kgCO_(2)/(m^(2)·a)and 17.2 kgCO_(2)/(m^(2)·a),*** carbon emissions account for 32.2%-64.1% of the *** comparison to the model based on internal standard setting,the accuracy of the models using actual internal has improved by 25.9%-37.4%.The three-star green building methods have the highest carbon reduction rate among different star buildings,the emission reduction rates are around 30%.This study's findings are useful for carbon emission calculation and green building design of residential buildings in the future.

Quantifying source-sink relationships in leaf-color modified rice genotypes during grain filling

Leaf-color modification can affect canopy photosynthesis,with potential effects on rice yield and yield *** source-sink relationships through crop management is often used to improve crop *** study investigated whether and how modifying leaf color alters source-sink relationships and whether current crop cultivation practices remain applicable for leaf-color modified *** collected data of total biomass and nitrogen(N)accumulation in rice genotypes of four genetic backgrounds and their leaf-color modified variants(greener or yellower)were analyzed,using a recently established modelling method to quantify the source-sink(im)balance during grain *** all leaf-color variants,only one yellower-leaf variant showed a higher source capacity than its normal *** was associated with greater post-flowering N-uptake that prolonged the functional leaf-N duration,and this greater post-flowering N-uptake was possible because of reduced pre-flowering N-uptake.A density experiment showed that current management practices(insufficient planting density accompanied by abundant N application)are unsuitable for the yellower-leaf genotype,ultimately limiting its yield ***-color modification affects source-sink relationships by regu.ating the N trade-off between pre-and post-flowering uptake,as well as N translocation between source and sink *** best exploit leaf-color modification for improving crop productivity,adjustments of crop management practices are required.

A hybrid attention model based on first-order statistical features for smoke recognition

Smoke and fire recognition are of great importance on foreseeing fire disasters and preventing environmental pollution by monitoring the burning process of objects(e.g., straw, fuels). However, since fire images suffer from problems like the variability of the features, complexity of scenarios, interference from background, changeable weather conditions as well as image quality problems, identifying smoke and fire accurately and promptly from a given image still remains a substantial challenge. Automatically learning the features of smoke images by CNNs has improved the target recognition ability compared to traditional approaches,nonetheless, convolutions and pooling operations in CNNs may cause severe information loss which may lead to *** tackle the above problems, this paper proposed a hybrid attention model based on the characteristics of smoke images. This model adopted multiple optimized attention mechanism in several stages to quickly and precisely capture the important features,achieving state-of-the-art performance on smoke and fire recognition in terms of accuracy and speed. Our proposed module mainly consists of two stages: pooling and attention. In the first stage, we conducted several newly proposed first-order pooling methods. Through traversing the data space in a larger scope, features are better reserved, thus constructing a more intact feature space of smoke and fire in an image. In the second stage, feature maps are aggregated together to perform channel and spatial attention. The channel and spatial dependencies allow us to quickly catch the important features presented in an image. By fully exploring the feature space and prominent salient features, characteristics of smoke and fire are better presented so as to obtain better smoke and fire detection results. experiments have been conducted on public smoke detection dataset and new proposed fine-grained smoke and fire detection database. experimental results revealed that the propose

Classifying Chinese Medicine Constitution Using Multimodal Deep-Learning Model

Objective:To develop a multimodal deep-learning model for classifying Chinese medicine constitution,i.e.,the balanced and unbalanced constitutions,based on inspection of tongu. and face images,pulse waves from palpation,and health information from a total of 540 ***:This study data consisted of tongu. and face images,pulse waves obtained by palpation,and health information,including personal information,life habits,medical history,and current symptoms,from 540 subjects(202 males and 338 females).Convolutional neural networks,recurrent neural networks,and fully connected neural networks were used to extract deep features from the *** fusion and decision fusion models were constructed for the multimodal ***:The optimal models for tongu. and face images,pulse waves and health information were ResNet18,Gate Recurrent Unit,and entity embedding,*** fusion was superior to decision *** multimodal analysis revealed that multimodal data compensated for the loss of information from a single mode,resulting in improved classification ***:Multimodal data fusion can supplement single model information and improve classification *** research underscores the effectiveness of multimodal deep learning technology to identify body constitution for modernizing and improving the intelligent application of Chinese medicine.

Boosted Lithium-Ion Transport Kinetics in n-Type Siloxene Anodes enabled by Selective Nucleophilic Substitution of Phosphorus

Doped two-dimensional(2D)materials hold significant promise for advancing many technologies,such as microelectronics,optoelectronics,and energy ***,n-type 2D oxidized Si nanosheets,namely n-type siloxene(n-SX),are employed as Li-ion battery *** thermal evaporation of sodium hypophosphite at 275℃,P atoms are effectively incorporated into siloxene(SX)without compromising its 2D layered morphology and unique Kautsky-type crystal ***,selective nucleophilic substitution occurs,with only Si atoms being replaced by P atoms in the O_(3)≡Si-H *** resulting n-SX possesses two delocalized electrons arising from the presence of two electron donor types:(i)P atoms residing in Si sites and(ii)H *** doping concentrations are varied by controlling the amount of precursors or their mean free *** at 2000 mA g^(-1),the n-SX electrode with the optimized doping concentration(6.7×10^(19) atoms cm^(-3))delivers a capacity of 594 mAh g^(-1) with a 73%capacity retention after 500 *** improvements originate from the enhanced kinetics of charge transport processes,including electronic conduction,charge transfer,and solid-state *** approach proposed herein offers an unprecedented route for engineering SX anodes to boost Li-ion storage.

Layered Coded Cache Placement and Cooperative Delivery with Sharing Links in Satellite-Terrestrial Integrated Networks

Cooperative utilization of multidimensional resources including cache, power and spectrum in satellite-terrestrial integrated networks(STINs) can provide a feasible approach for massive streaming media content delivery over the seamless global coverage area. However, the on-board supportable resources of a single satellite are extremely limited and lack of interaction with others. In this paper, we design a network model with two-layered cache deployment, i.e., satellite layer and ground base station layer, and two types of sharing links, i.e., terrestrial-satellite sharing(TSS) links and inter-satellite sharing(ISS) links, to enhance the capability of cooperative delivery over STINs. Thus, we use rateless codes for the content divided-packet transmission, and derive the total energy efficiency(ee) in the whole transmission procedure, which is defined as the ratio of traffic offloading and energy consumption. We formulate two optimization problems about maximizing ee in different sharing scenarios(only TSS and TSS-ISS),and propose two optimized algorithms to obtain the optimal content placement matrixes, *** results demonstrate that, enabling sharing links with optimized cache placement have more than 2 times improvement of ee performance than other traditional placement schemes. Particularly, TSS-ISS schemes have the higher ee performance than only TSS schemes under the conditions of enough number of satellites and smaller inter-satellite distances.

Ag-doped CNT/HAP nanohybrids in a PLLA bone scaffold show significant antibacterial activity

Bacterial infection is a major problem following bone implant ***,poly-l-lactic acid/carbon nanotube/hydroxyapatite(PLLA/CNT/HAP)bone scaffolds possess enhanced mechanical properties and show good ***,wesynthesizedsilver(Ag)-dopedCNT/HAP(CNT/Ag-HAP)nanohybrids via the partial replacing of calcium ions(Ca2+)in the HAP lattice with silver ions(Ag+)using an ion doping technique under hydrothermal ***ﬁcally,the doping process was induced using the special lattice structure of HAP and the abundant surface oxygenic functional groups of CNT,and involved the partial replacement of Ca2+in the HAP lattice by doped Ag+as well as the in situ synthesis of Ag-HAP nanoparticles on CNT in a hydrothermal *** result-ing CNT/Ag-HAP nanohybrids were then introduced into a PLLA matrix via laser-based powder bed fusion(PBF-LB)to fabricate PLLA/CNT/Ag-HAP scaffolds that showed sustained antibacterial *** then found that Ag+,which pos-sesses broad-spectrum antibacterial activity,endowed PLLA/CNT/Ag-HAP scaffolds with this activity,with an antibacterial effectiveness of 92.65%.This antibacterial effect is due to the powerful effect of Ag+against bacterial structure and genetic material,as well as the physical destruction of bacterial structures due to the sharp edge structure of *** addition,the scaffold possessed enhanced mechanical properties,showing tensile and compressive strengths of 8.49 MPa and 19.72 MPa,***,the scaffold also exhibited good bioactivity and cytocompatibility,including the ability to form apatite layers and to promote the adhesion and proliferation of human osteoblast-like cells(MG63 cells).

The emergence of exotic quantum phenomena in frustrated magnets is rapidly driving the development of quantum many-body physics,raising fundamental questions on the nature of quantum phase *** we unveil the behaviour of emergent symmetry involving two extraordinarily representative phenomena,i.e.,the deconfined quantum critical point(DQCP)and the quantum spin liquid(QSL)*** large-scale tensor network simulations,we study a spatially anisotropic spin-1/2 square-lattice frustrated antiferromagnetic(AFM)model,namely the J1x-J1y-J2 model,which contains anisotropic nearestneighbor couplings J1x,J1y and the next nearest neighbor coupling *** small J1y/J1x,by tuning J2,a direct continuous transition between the AFM and valence bond solid phase is *** growing J1y/J1x,a gapless QSL phase gradually emerges between the AFM and VBS *** observe an emergent O(4)symmetry along the AFM–VBS transition line,which is consistent with the prediction of DQCP *** surprisingly,we find that such an emergent O(4)symmetry holds for the whole QSL–VBS transition line as *** findings reveal the intrinsic relationship between the QSL and DQCP from categorical symmetry point of view,and strongly constrain the quantum field theory description of the QSL *** phase diagram and critical exponents presented in this paper are of direct relevance to future experiments on frustrated magnets and cold atom systems.
