High-resolution non-emissive displays based on electrochromic tungsten oxides(WOx)are crucial for future near-eye virtual/augmented reality interactions,given their impressive attributes such as high environmental stability,ideal outdoor readability,and low energy ***,the limited intrinsic structure of inorganic materials has presented a significant challenge in achieving precise patterning/pixelation at the micron ***,we successfully developed the direct photolithography for WOx nanoparticles based on in situ photo-induced ligand *** strategy enabled us to achieve ultra-high resolution efficiently(line width3600 cycles),as well as promising applications in electronic logos,pixelated displays,flexible electronics,*** success and advancements presented here are expected to inspire and accelerate research and development(R&D)in high-resolution non-emissive displays and other ultra-fine micro-electronics.

The effects of 17β-trenbolone and bisphenol A on sexual behavior and social dominance via the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis in male mice

17β-Trenbolone(17-TB)is well documented as an environmental endocrine disruptor in aquatic biological studies,but its effects on mammals remain poorly ***,17-TB acts as a hormone with properties similar to testosterone,and the consequences of juvenile exposure on adult social behavior remain *** A(BPA)acts as an estrogen-like hormone,compared to ***-week-old male Balb/c mice were exposed orally to 17-TB(100μg/(kg·day))and BPA(4 mg/(kg·day))for 28 *** of social interactions and a three-chamber test showed that 17-TB increased virility in male mice,intensified both male and female sexual behavior,and attracted and accepted female *** also increased social dominance through tube tests inmalemice and markedly activated the c-Fos^(+)immune response in themedial prefrontal cortex(mPFC)and basal amygdala(BLA).ELISA data showed that 17-TB and BPA exposure significantly affected serum gonadotropin-releasing hormone(GnRH),growth hormone(GH),estradiol(E2),and luteinizing hormone(LH)levels,as well as testicular lesions and androgen receptor(ARβ)and estrogen receptor(ERα)*** transcriptomic analysis further confirmed that could disrupt steroid synthesis and linoleic acid-related biometabolic *** findings suggest the influence of 17-TB and BPA exposure on sexual behavior and fertility in male mice,possibly through modulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal *** study provides insights relevant to human reproductive health and neuro-social behavioral research,and the potential risk of environmental disturbances should not be overlooked.

Thermo-Hydraulic Performances of Microchannel Heat Sinks with Different Types of Perforated Rectangular Blocks

The behavior of single-phase flow and conjugate heat transfer in micro-channel heat sinks(MCHS)subjected to auniform heat flux is investigated by means of numerical *** geometrical configurations areexamined,particularly,the combinations of rectangular solid and perforated blocks,used to create a disturbancein the *** analysis focuses on several key aspects and related metrics,including the temperature distribution,the mean Fanning friction factor,the pressure drop,the Nusselt number,and the overall heat transfer coefficientacross a range of Reynolds numbers(80–870).It is shown that the introduction of such blocks significantlyenhances the heat transfer performances of the MCHS compared to the straight-through flow ***,a case is found where the Nusselt number increases by 2.3 times relative to the reference *** integrationof perforated blocks facilitates the generation of vorticity within the channel,promoting the mixing of coldand hot ***,MCHS incorporating perforated rectangular blocks exhibit more pronounced heat transferbenefits at Reynolds numbers smaller than 400.

In-situ Si particle-reinforced joints of hypereutectic Al−60Si alloys by ultrasonic-assisted soldering

To improve the wettability of hypereutectic Al−60Si alloy and enhance the mechanical properties of the joints,Al−60Si alloy was joined by ultrasonic soldering with Sn-9Zn solder,and a sound joint with in-situ Si particle reinforcement was *** oxide film of Al−60Si alloy at the interface was identified by transmission electron microscopy(TEM)analysis as amorphous Al_(2)O_(3).The oxide of Si particles in the base metal was also *** oxide film of Al−60Si alloy was observed to be removed by ultrasonic vibration instead of holding *** particle-reinforced joints(35.7 vol.%)were obtained by increasing the ultrasonication *** maximum shear strength peaked at 99.5 MPa for soldering at 330℃with an ultrasonic vibration time of 50 s.A model of forming of Si particles reinforced joint under the ultrasound was proposed,and ultrasonic vibration was considered to promote the dissolution of Al and migration of Si particles.

Objective:To explore the efficacy and safety of Juan Bi Pill(JBP)in treatment of active rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods:From February 2017 to May 2018,115 participants from 4 centers were randomly divided into JBP group(57 cases)and placebo group(58 cases)in a 1:1 ratio using a random number table *** received a dose of JBP(4 g,twice a day,orally)combined with methotrexate(MTX,10 mg per week)or placebo(4 g,twice a day,orally)combined with MTX for 12 *** were required with follow-up visits at 24 and 48 weeks,attending 7 assessment *** were undergo disease activity assessment 7 times(at baseline and 2,4,8,12,24,48 weeks)and safety assessments 6 times(at baseline and 4,8,12,24,48 weeks).The primary endpoint was 28-joint Disease Activity Score(DAS28-ESR and DAS28-CRP).The secondary endpoints included American College of Rheumatology(ACR)criteria for 20%and 50%improvement(ACR20/50),Health Assessment Questionnaire Disability Index(HAQ-DI),clinical disease activity index(CDAI),visual analog scale(VAS),Short Form-36(SF-36)score,Medial Outcomes Study(MOS)sleep scale score,serum erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP),tender joint count,swollen joint count,and morning *** adverse reactions were observed during the ***:After 12 weeks of treatment,DAS28-ESR and DAS28-CRP scores in both groups were lower than before treatment(both P<0.01),while the remission rate of DAS28-ESR and DAS28-CRP and low disease activity of JBP group were higher than those in the placebo group(both P<0.01).JBP demonstrated better efficacy on ACR20 and ACR50 compliance rate at 12 and 48 weeks comparing to placebo(all P<0.05).The CDAI and HAQ-DI score,pain VAS and global VAS change of RA patients and physicians,the serum ESR and CRP levels,and the number of tenderness and swelling joints were lower than before treatment at 4,8,12,24,48 weeks in both groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01),while the reduction of above indices in

Neutron-induced gamma-ray imaging is a spectroscopic technique that uses characteristic gamma rays to infer the elemental distribution of an ***,this technique requires the use of large facilities to supply a high neutron flux and a time-consuming detection procedure involving direct collimating *** this study,a new method based on low neutron flux was proposed.A single-pixel gamma-ray detector combined with random pattern gamma-ray masks was used to measure the characteristic gamma rays emitted from the *** of the elemental distribution in the sample,comprising 30×30 pixels,were reconstructed using the maximum-likelihood expectation-maximization *** results demonstrate that the elemental imaging of the sample can be accurately determined using this *** proposed approach,which eliminates the need for high neutron flux and scanning measurements,can be used for in-field imaging applications.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of xiangshao Granules(XSG)on post-stroke depression(PSD)and explore the underlying *** Forty-three C57BL/6J mice were divided into 3 groups:sham(n=15),PSD+vehicle(n=14),and PSD+XSG(n=14)groups according to a random number *** PSD models were constructed using chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS)after middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO).The sham group only experienced the same surgical operation,but without MACO and CUMS *** XSG group received XSG(60 mg/kg per day)by gavage for 4 *** mice in the sham and vehicle groups were given the same volume of 0.9%saline at the same *** body weight and behavior tests including open field test,sucrose preference test,tail suspension test,and elevated plus-maze test,were used to validate the PSD mouse ***-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR),enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and immunofluorescence staining were used to evaluate the anti-inflammatory effects of *** potential molecular mechanisms were explored and verified through network pharmacology analysis,Nissl staining,Western blot,ELISA,and RT-qPCR,*** The body weight and behavior tests showed that MCAO combined with CUMS successfully established the PSD *** alleviated neuronal damage,reduced the expressions of pro-apoptotic proteins Caspase-3 and B-cell lymphoma-2(BCL-2)-associated X(BAX),and increased the expression of anti-apoptotic protein BCL-2 in PSD mice(P<0.05 or P<0.01).XSG inhibited microglial activation and the expressions of pro-inflammatory cytokines including tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin(IL)-1β,and IL-6 via the toll-like receptor 4/nuclear factor kappa-B signaling pathway in PSD mice(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Furthermore,XSG decreased the expression of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase1(IDO1)and increased the concentration of 5-hydroxytryptamine in PSD mice(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion XSG could reverse

Double carbohelicenes have attracted considerable attention due to their aesthetic structures,distinctπ-conjugation extension,inherent chirality,and intriguing optical and electronic ***,the concise de novo synthesis of a new double[5]carbohelicene 1 together with its chiroptical properties,isomerization process and lasing application is presented.1 was synthesized by a simple protocol involving the formation of a 6,6′-bipentacene as the key *** is worth noting that1 existed as two diastereomers 1-PP/MM and 1-PM,which were successfully isolated and unambiguously confirmed by Xray *** optical resolution of the racemic 1-PP/MM was successfully achieved by chiral-phase highperformance liquid chromatography(HPLC),and 1-PP and 1-MM were characterized by circular ***,it was found that 1-PP/MM could be completely isomerized to 1-PM upon heating,and the detailed thermodynamics and kinetics of the isomerization process were systematically investigated.1-PM exhibited deep-red luminescence with emission maximum at 723 nm and fluorescence quantum yield as high as 32.95%.Consequently,we can showcase the lasing application of 1-PM by doping with epoxy resin to assemble a bottle microlaser spontaneously,which the lasing wavelength is 796.6 nm at a threshold of 0.8 m J cm^(-2).We believe that our studies,including the facile synthesis methodology,detailed isomerization studies,and lasing application,will shed some light on the design and synthesis of novel carbohelical systems with more functions.
