This study aimed to demonstrate the application of Long Reach Directionally Drilled Boreholes(LRDD)for gas drainage of adjacent seams before and during the longwall face operations of low permeability-high gas content coals Staszic-Wujek Hard Coal Mine in the Upper Silesia Coal Basin(Poland).Five LRDD Boreholes(TM1a-TM5)with a length of 300 and 400 m were located over coal seam 501 in the fractured zone and monitored over six months of longwall face *** Boreholes were combined with Cross-Measured *** characterization and geological modeling supported the results obtained from gas *** drainage efficiency of LRDD Boreholes was the approxi-mately 70%level,while conventional Cross-Measured Boreholes were only 30%.The highest goaf gas quality(94%methane concentration)was reported for TM4,placed at an average elevation of 41 m above coal seam *** highest goaf gas production(average 6.2 m^(3)/min)was reported for LRDD Borehole *** borehole was placed within the fracture zone(average elevation of 24.4 m)and drilled through the sandstone lithotype with the best reservoir properties,enhancing drainage *** Boreholes TM2 and TM4 achieved similar *** three LRDD Boreholes were drilled close to the maximum principal horizontal stress direction,providing borehole stability during *** lowest goaf gas production was reported for LRDD Boreholes TM1a and *** Boreholes were placed in the rubble zone.

This case describes a posterior fossa mass due to blastomycotic infection in a non-immunocompromised 41-year-old male presenting with a chronic headache for over one *** the risk of herniation,no lumbar puncture could be performed.A full work-up found no evidence of systemic *** resection helped identify the mass as a blastomycotic *** resonance imaging characteristics of the mass were helpful in the identification of the mass as a fungal abscess.

本文提出了一种处理三分量宽带井间资料的方法,目的是压制尾波信号,分离开重叠在一起的波场分量。其基础是:当用小道距检波器接收,或由小炮点距震源激发时,尾波的相关度减小。具体实现方法是通过把信号变换到时间-频率域,并计算相邻射线传播信号各个时刻的瞬时相关度,得到相干波的高相干时间-频率域。由此认别出地震记录中的直达P波、S波、反射波和转换管波等不同波型。本文还提出了一种计算地震信号中不同波型初至时间的可靠方法。这种方法具有很高分辨率。

T-lymphoblastic lymphoma(T-LBL)is a rare and aggressive form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and little is known about their molecular ***,complex karyotypes were already related to this group of malignancy and associated with poor ***,we describe a 17-year-old female being diagnosed with T-LBL and a normal karyotype after standard G-banding with trypsin-Giemsa(GTG)-***,further analyses including high-resolution molecular approaches,array-comparative genomic hybridization(aCGH),multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification,fluorescence in situ hybridization and multicolor chromosome banding revealed a cryptic complex karyotype,NUP214-ABL1 gene fusion,episomes and intra-tumor genetic *** addition,homozygous loss of CDKN2A,as well as amplification of oncogene TLX1(HOX11)were ***,NUP214-ABL1 fusion gene replicated autonomously in this case as ***,highly amplification of NUP214-ABL1 fusion gene defines possibly a new subgroup of T-LBL patients which accordingly could benefit from treatment with tyrosine kinase *** episomes are missed in standard karyotyping aCGH should be performed routinely in T-LBL to possibly detect more of such cases.

Glioblastoma multiforme(GBM) is a highly invasive brain tumour that is unvaryingly fatal in humans despite even aggressive therapeutic approaches such as surgical resection followed by chemotherapy and *** treatment options such as gene therapy provide an intriguing option for curbing glioma related *** date,gene therapy has yielded encouraging results in preclinical animal models as well as promising safety profiles in phase I clinical trials,but has failed to demonstrate significant therapeutic efficacy in phase III clinical *** most widely studied antiglioma gene therapy strategies are suicide gene therapy,genetic immunotherapy and oncolytic virotherapy,and we have attributed the challenging transition of these modalities into the clinic to four major roadblocks:(1) anatomical features of the central nervous system,(2) the host immune system,(3) heterogeneity and invasiveness of GBM and(4) limitations in current GBM animal *** this review,we discuss possible ways to jump these hurdles and develop new gene therapies that may be used alone or in synergy with other modalities to provide a powerful treatment option for patients with GBM.
