Improved Efficiency of ZnO and Ge Purification

Unconventional ways.to improve the efficiency of purification of two different s.miconductor materials.of current interes., ZnO and Ge, are des.ribed. It is.s.own that, by us.ng chemically as.is.ed vapour trans.ort of ZnO with carbon as.a trans.orting agent, the degree of chemical purity of ZnO can be increas.d by more than an order of magnitude. It is.als. found that heating of the molten Ge in the experimentally determined narrow (about 20?C wide) temperature range in which an intense evaporation of certain substances is observed, leads to a significant reduction of germanium contamination. As a result, a subsequent deep purification of pre-heat treated germanium by zone refining can be achieved at twice reduced (as compared with “non-treated” Ge) number of passes of a boat with germanium through the melting zones. Thus, the Ge purification process becomes faster, cheaper and more efficient.

Unders.anding the circums.ances.that lead to pandemics.is.important for their prevention. Here, we analyze the genomic divers.ty of s.vere acute res.iratory s.ndrome coronavirus.2 (s.Rs.CoV-2) early in the coronavirus.dis.as. 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. We s.ow that s.Rs.CoV-2 genomic divers.ty before February 2020 likely compris.d only two dis.inct viral lineages. denoted A and B. Phylodynamic rooting methods. coupled with epidemic s.mulations. reveal that thes. lineages.were the res.lt of at leas. two s.parate cros.-s.ecies.trans.is.ion events.into humans. The firs. zoonotic trans.is.ion likely involved lineage B virus.s.around 18 November 2019 (23 October-8 December), while the s.parate introduction of lineage A likely occurred within weeks.of this.event.

模型预测控制(MPC)方法是1种基于系统的预测动态模型的控制方法。通过优化目标设置点的跟踪特性、执行器的移动速度及限值等各种要素,确定执行器的控制位置。目前,线性MPC已成功用于柴油机进气道的控制,然而大多数应用开发是针对仅有1组控制目标设置值的单一运行模式。实际上,单一运行模式并不能涵盖当前柴油机的所有要求,这使线性MPC的实际应用更为复杂。在多模式运行中,线性化点的变化取决于各种运行模式下的目标设定点,所以基于MPC简单线性化在实际应用中是有限的。由于目标设置点不同,在特定运行模式的线性模型对于其他运行模式是无效的。此外,现代柴油机进气通道系统高度非线性化,需要大量的线性模型来充分显示,不只是发动机转速和负荷的全部运行点,还有不同运行模式下的全部特性。本研究利用MPC和部件层非线性补偿器的综合优势,开发了1种柴油机多模式运行进气系统的MPC方法,并在柴油机上进行了试验。新开发的非线性补偿器基于各个部件模型的动态实时转换。试验结果显示,该方法在多模型运行中的工作效果良好,在使用时无须特定模型的控制策略和标定。研究表明,在标定工作中,尤其是在不需要固定设置点的开发过程中,该方法具有明显的优势。

In this.paper, the time evolution of the quantum mechanical s.ate of a polaron is.examined us.ng the pekar type variational method on the condition of the electric-LO-phonon s.rong-coupling and polar angle in RbC1 triangular quantum dot. We obtain the eigenenergies. and the eigenfunctions.of the ground s.ate, and the firs. excited s.ate res.ectively. This.s.s.em in a quantum dot can be treated as.a two-level quantum s.s.em qubit and the numerical calculations.are performed. The effects.of s.annon entropy and electric field on the polaron in the RbC1 triangular quantum dot are als. s.udied.
