BACKGROUND Th. incidence of diabetes mellitus type 1(DM1)h.s been rising worldwide because of improvements in diagnostic tech.iques and improved access to care in countries with.lower socioeconomic status.A new anti-CD4 antibody,Teplizumab,h.s been sh.wn to delay th. progression of DM1 and is th. only medication approved for th.s ***,more information is needed about th. safety profile of th.s *** To identify th. odds ratios(OR)of systems-based adverse effects for Teplizumab wh.n compared to *** An extensive systematic review was conducted from th. inception of th. medication until December 31,*** clinical trials and studies th.t evaluated Teplizumab vs placebo were included in th. initial *** study protocol was designed using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines guidelines and was registered in PROSPERO(ID:CRD42024496169).Crude OR were generated using RevMan Software version *** After screening and review,5 studies were selected to determine th. risk of adverse effects of teplizumab compared to placebo.A total of 561 patients were included in th. study *** adverse effects and system-based adverse effects were studied and *** determined th.t patients receiving Teplizumab h.d a h.gh.r risk of developing gastrointestinal(GI)(OR=1.60,95%CI:1.01-2.52,P=0.04),dermatological(OR=6.33,95%CI:4.05-9.88,Ph.matological adverse effects(OR=19.03,95%CI:11.09-32.66,Ph.se patients were also significantly likely to h.ve active Epstein-Barr Virus infection(OR=3.16,95%CI:1.51-6.64,Ph.le our data sh.wed th.t patients receiving Teplizumab did h.ve a h.gh.r incidence of total adverse effects vs placebo,th.s finding did not reach.statistical significance(OR=2.25,95%CI:0.80-6.29,P=0.12).CONCLUSION Our systematic review suggests th.t Teplizumab patients are at risk for significant adverse effects,primarily related to GI,dermatological,and h.matolog

Th. management of scoliosis in ch.ldren h.s been evolving. Anterior release, diskectomy, and anterior instrumentation and spinal fusion (AISF) may be of benefit compared with.a combined anterior and posterior or a posterior-only approach. Because th.racoscopic AISF (TAISF) h.s th. potential benefit of muscle sparing, superior cosmesis, and less pain, th. auth.rs decided to prospectively compare th.s newer tech.ique with.open AISF (OAISF) to evaluate wh.th.r th. 2 approach.s were equivalent. All ch.ldren with.idiopath.c th.racic scoliosis undergoing AISF at a single center were prospectively examined. One h.ndred fifty-five ch.ldren wh. h.d a minimum of 1-year follow-up were included in th. study. Descriptive statistics are reported as means and SDs. Groups were compared using th. independent-samples t test with.Levene’s test for equality of variances; a 2-tailed P value of.05 or less was considered significant. Open AISF was performed in 114 patients and TAISF was performed in 41; th.re were 126 girls and 29 boys. Mean age at surgery was similar (14 ±3 vs 14.3 ±1.5 years; P =.5), as was weigh. (54.2 ±19 vs 54.6 ±23 kg; P =.9). Th.re were no differences in preoperative th.racic curves (48.5°±14°vs 49.8°±7°; P =.6) or in th. number of vertebral levels instrumented (7.7 ±1.3 vs 7.6 ±0.7; P =.7). Operative time was sh.rter with.OAISF (383 ±65 vs 508 ±98 minutes; P h.re was less estimated blood loss (924 ±724 vs 1218 ±747 mL; P =.03). Th. OAISF group took longer to extubate (1.4 ±1.2 vs 1 ±0.3 days; P =.03) and h.d sligh.ly greater ch.st tube drainage (1710 ±730 vs 1639 ±515 mL; P =.5). At th. 1-year follow-up, th. th.racic curves were similar (17.5°±8°vs 15.2°±7.5°; P =.1) and percentage correction of th.racic curves was also similar (64%vs 69%). Th.racoscopic AISF is safe and effective in correcting idiopath.c ch.ldh.od scoliosis. Lepidium sativum（commonly known as garden cress） belongs to th. family Brassicaceae. It is a fastgrowing erect, annual h.rbaceous plant. Its seeds possess significant fracture h.aling, anti-asth.atic, anti-diabetic,h.poglycemic, neph.ocurative and neph.oprotective activities. In th. present study, we assessed th. genetic diversity of various genotypes of L. sativum using inter-simple sequence repeat（ISSR） markers. Out of 41 ISSR primers screened, 32 primers sh.wed significant, clear and reproducible bands. A total of 510 amplified bands were obtained using 32 ISSR primers, out of wh.ch.422 bands were polymorph.c and 88 bands were monomorph.c. Th. percentage of polymorph.sm was found to be 82. A total of 35 unique alleles ranging insize from 200 to 2,900 bp were *** analysis based on unweigh.ed pair-group meth.d,arith.etic mean divided th. 18 genotypes into two main clusters, with.th. first h.ving only h.S-08 genotype of *** and oth.r h.ving all of th. oth.r 17 genotypes. Th. Jaccard similarity coefficient revealed a broad range32–72 % genetic relatedness among th. 18 genotypes.

Th. control approach.for motion control of th. platform is presented using a modern control tech.ique, namely, linear quadratic Gaussinn （LQG） with.reference tracking. Th. LQG controller is th. combination of a Kalman filter, i.e., a linear-quadratic estimator （LQE） with.a linear-quadratic regulator （LQR）.
