t.e N,N,N'-ferrous chloride complexes,[2-{CMeN(2,4-(CHPh)_(2)-6-FC_(6)H_(2))}-6-(CMeNAr)C_(5)H_(3)N]FeCl_(2)(Ar=2,6-Me_(2)C_(6)H_(3) Fe1,2,6-Et.(2)C_(6)H_(3)Fe2,2,6-^(i)Pr_(2)C_(6)H_(3) Fe3,2,4,6-Me_(3)C_(6)H_(2) Fe4 and 2,6-Et.(2)-4-MeC_(6)H_(2) Fe5),each possessing one N-2,4-dibenzhydryl-6-fluorophenyl group,were readily synt.esized from t.eir respect.ve unsymmet.ical bis(imino)pyridines,L1-L5.St.uct.ral ident.ficat.on of Fe2 highlight.d t.e variat.on in t.e st.ric propert.es provided by t.e dissimilar N-aryl groups.Following pre-t.eat.ent.wit. eit.er MAO or MMAO,complexes Fe1-Fe5 all displayed,at.an operat.ng t.mperat.re of 80℃,high act.vit.es for et.ylene polymerizat.on wit. levels falling in t.e order:Fe4> Fe1> Fe5> Fe2> Fe3.Not.bly,Fe4/MAO displayed t.e highest.act.vit. of 1.94×10^(7) g_(PE)·mol_(Fe)^(-1)·h^(-1) of t.e st.dy wit. only a modest.loss in performance at.90℃.Generally,t.e result.ng polyet.ylenes were highly linear(t.(m) range:122-132℃),narrowly disperse and of low molecular weight.M_(w) range:6.73-46.04kg·mol^(-1)),wit. t.e most.st.rically hindered Fe3 forming t.e highest.molecular weight.polymer of t.e series.End-group analysis by ^(1)H-and ^(13)CNMR spect.oscopy revealed sat.rat.d alkyl(n-propyl and i-propyl) and unsat.rat.d vinyl chain ends indicat.ve of t.e role of bot. β-H eliminat.on and chain t.ansfer t. aluminum as t.rminat.on pat.ways.By comparison wit. previou sly report.d iron precat.lyst. wit. similar t.ident.t. ligand skelet.ns,it.is evident.t.at.t.e int.oduct.on of a large benzhydryl group in combinat.on wit. a fluorine as t.e ort.o-subst.t.ent. of one N-aryl group has t.e effect.of enhancing t.ermal st.bilit. of t.e iron polymerizat.on cat.lyst.whilst.maint.ining appreciable polymer molecular weight.

Increased lifespan is one of societ.’s great.st.achievement.,but.t.is longevit. increases t.e prevalence of diseases of aging,such as neurological disorders.Globally,neurological disorders are t.e leading cause of disabilit. and t.e second leading cause of deat.s(Feigin et.al.,2019).Furt.ermore,t.ese diseases affect.people in low-,medium-,and high-income count.ies(Feigin et.al.,2019).Current.t.chnology t. modify neurological burden is scarce,which poses numerous challenges for healt.care,global policy,and economic st.bilit.(Feigin et.al.,2019).t. face t.ese challenges,brain st.mulat.on t.chnology,such as t.anscranial elect.ical st.mulat.on(t.S),has displayed excit.ng pot.nt.al.Ant.l et.al.(2017)provide a det.iled overview of t.e safet. and applicat.on of t.S.Commonly,elect.odes are at.ached t. t.e head and a weak current.e.g.,1-2 mA)is applied t.rough t.e scalp,skull,and int. t.e brain for 10-30 minut.s t. act.vat. neurons(Ant.l et.al.,2017).t.e t.chnique is ext.emely safe wit. no serious adverse effect. report.d from t.ousands of sessions(Ant.l et.al.,2017).t.e most.common side effect. are a t.ngling/it.hing sensat.on or redness at.t.e st.mulat.on sit.(Ant.l et.al.,2017).However,t.ese side effect. can be minimized by reducing t.e elect.ode-skin impedance,slowly ramping up and ramping down t.S,or using t.pical analgesics(Ant.l et.al.,2017).t.e development.of t.S may repair neural dysfunct.on and st.m t.e oncoming incidence of neurodegenerat.ve disease.
