Variation in patterns of recombination in plant genomes provides information about species evolution,genetic diversity and crop improvement. We investigated meiotic crossovers generated in biparental segregating and reciprocal backcross populations of the allopolyploid genome of rapeseed(Brassica napus)(AACC, 2n = 38). A structured set of 1445 intercrossed lines was derived from two homozygous de novo genome-assembled parents that represented the major genetic clusters of semi-winter Chinese and winter European rapeseeds, and was used to increase QTL resolution and achieve genomic reciprocal introgression. A high-density genetic map constructed with 6161 genetic bins and anchored centromere regions was used to establish the pattern of recombination variation in each chromosome. Around 93%of the genome contained crossovers at a mean rate of 3.8 c M Mb^(-1), with the remaining 7% attributed to centromeres or low marker density. Recombination hotspots predominated in the A genome, including two-thirds of those associated with breeding introgression from B. rapa. Genetic background might affect recombination variation. Introgression of genetic diversity from European winter to Chinese semi-winter rapeseed showed an increase in crossover rate under the semi-winter environment. Evidence for an elevated recombination rate having historically contributed to selective trait improvement includes accumulation of favorable alleles for seed oil content on hotspots of chromosome A10. Conversely, strong artificial selection may affect recombination rate variation, as appears to be the case with a coldspot resulting from strong selection for glucosinolate alleles on A09. But the cold region would be promptly reactivated by crossing design indicated by the pedigree analysis. Knowledge of recombination hotspots and coldspots associated with QTL for 22 traits can guide selection strategies for introgression breeding between the two gene pools. Background: Circus cyaneus is a medium-sized bird of prey that is widely distributed across the Northern Hemisphere. There are two currently recognized forms, the Palearctic form C. c. cyaneus(Hen Harrier), and the Nearctic form C. c. hudsonius(Northern Harrier). The forms have recently been split by the British Ornithologists' Union but the American Ornithologists' Union and some other taxonomic committees have not yet made any change. Here we examine the phylogenetic relationship between the two forms using sequence data from multiple nuclear and mitochondrial genes and examine breeding biology, body size, morphology, dispersal and other ***: In order to fully compare cyaneus and hudsonius, we carried out a full literature review, measured museum skins and carried out phylogenetic analysis using a number of different mitochondrial genes and compare our findings to other recent ***: We find that these two allopatric taxa form reciprocally monophyletic groups, show substantial mt DNA sequence divergence, and further differ significantly with respect to body size, plumage characters, breeding biology, dispersal and other behavioral ***: Based on an array of consistently divergent characteristics, it is suggested that the two forms are best regarded as separate species, Hen Harrier(Circus cyaneus) and Northern Harrier(Circus hudsonius).

Climate change adaptation(CCA) and disaster risk reduction(DRR) have similar targets and goals in relation to climate change and related risks. The integration of CCA in core DRR operations is crucial to provide simultaneous benefits for social systems coping with challenges posed by climate extremes and climate *** state actors are generally responsible for governing a public issue such as CCA and DRR integration,the reform of top-down governing modes in neoliberal societies has enlarged the range of potential actors to include non state actors from economic and social communities. These new intervening actors require in-depth investigation. To achieve this goal, the article investigates the set of actors and their bridging arrangements that create and shape governance in CCA and DRR integration. The article conducts a comprehensive literature review in order to retrieve main actors and arrangements. The article summarizes actors and arrangements into a conceptual governance framework that can be used as a backdrop for future research on the topic. However, this framework has an explorative form, which must be refined according to site-and context-specific variables, norms, or ***, this article promotes an initial application of the framework to different contexts. Scholars may adopt the framework as a roadmap with which to corroborate the existence of a theoretical and empirical body of knowledge on governance of CCA and DRR integration.

Using Pharmacokinetic Modeling and Electronic Health Record Data to Predict Clinical and Safety Outcomes after Methylprednisolone Exposure during Cardiopulmonary Bypass in Neonates

Background:Infants undergoing cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB)frequently receive intraoperative methylprednisolone(MP)to suppress CPB-related inflammation;however,the optimal dosing strategy and efficacy of MP remain ***:We retrospectively analyzed all infants under 90 days-old who received intra-operative MP for cardiac surgery with CPB from 2014–2017 at our *** combined real-world dosing data from the electronic health record(EHR)and two previously developed population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic models to simulate peak concentration(Cmax)and area under the concentration-time curve for 24 h(AUC24)for MP and the inflammatory cytokines interleukin-6(IL-6)and interleukin-10(IL-10).We evaluated the relationships between post-operative,safety,and other clinical outcomes obtained from the EHR with each predicted exposure using non-parametric ***:A total of 142 infants with median post-natal age 8(interquartile range[IQR]:5,37)days received a total dose of 30(19,49)mg/kg of ***(8%)died,37(26%)met the composite post-operative outcome,114(80%)met the composite safety outcome,and 23(16%)had a major *** median Cmax and AUC24 IL-6 exposure was significantly higher for infants meeting the composite post-operative outcome and those with major *** median Cmax and AUC24 MP exposure was significantly higher for infants requiring *** exposure was associated with death or other safety ***:Pro-inflammatory IL-6,but not MP exposure,was associated with post-operative organ dysfunction,suggesting current MP dosing may not adequately suppress IL-6 or increase IL-10 to impact clinical *** study will be required to define the optimal exposure-efficacy and exposure-safety profiles in these infants.

近年来,随着化石燃料消耗的急剧增加,排放到大气中的CO_(2)日益增多,其导致的温室效应和环境污染问题日益突出,因此如何实现CO_(2)高效转化利用成为当务之急.光催化CO_(2)还原(PCR)技术是解决温室效应的策略之一.目前,大部分光催化剂的研究集中在提高可见光范围内的光催化活性,如果开发出能够吸收和利用近红外(NIR)光的半导体光催化剂,将可大幅提高太阳光的利用率,从而提高PCR活性.非化学计量的W_(18)O_(49)(WO)由于氧空位引起的局部表面等离子体共振(LSPR)效应而具有较好的NIR吸收性.此外,氧空位引起的LSPR效应可以吸收低能光子,并产生高能"热电子"以促进载流子转移,可以改善光生电荷分离.通过胺化的CdSe-二乙烯三胺(CdSe-D)和WO耦合构建S型异质结光催化剂,可以提高光生载流子的分离效率.因此,该类结构在利用太阳光将CO_(2)转化为有机燃料的领域具有巨大的潜力.本文通过溶剂热法在CdSe-D上原位生长WO.采用X射线衍射(XRD)技术研究了不同比例的CdSe-D,WO和复合样品的物相,没有观察到杂质峰,表明没有其它杂质混入.扫描电子显微镜和透射电子显微镜表结果表明,CdSe-D上的WO是原位生长的,而不是简单的机械混合.采用XPS光谱分析了WO,CdSe-D和35%WO/CdSe-D中的Cd,Se,O和W元素,结果表明,电子是从CdSe-D移动到WO.根据UV-vis DRS结果,WO在450‒1800 nm有吸收峰,这可归因于WO是一种非化学计量的氧化钨,表面上有大量的氧空位,从而触发了由电子集体振荡引起的LSPR效应.CdSe-D和WO带隙分别为1.97和2.68 eV.由Mott-Schottky曲线对CdSe-D和WO的导带位置进行估计,可以得出CdSe-D和WO的导带位置.利用PL光谱、瞬态光电流响应和阻抗研究了光催化剂的界面电荷载流子转移和分离效率,表明构建S型异质结加快电子的传输进一步提高了电荷分离和转移效率.光催化CO_(2)还原测试可以发现,35%WO/CdSe-D的产率为29.72μmol h^(–1) g^(–1),表现出最优异的CO_(2)还原性能,且经过三次循环实验依然保持良好的光催化性能.综上,本文成功构建了胺化S型WO/CdSe-D异质结光催化剂,光吸收范围增大,光吸收能力增强,氧化还原能力提高,对具有富氧空位的非化学计量氧化物的LSPR效应提供了一种新的见解.

由无机与有机组分组成的无机-有机杂化材料因其优异的性能及良好的物理化学性质在光催化领域得到了广泛的关注.目前,已经开发的单相光催化剂有很多种,但其很难同时满足宽的光激发范围以及高的光吸收能力和强的氧化还原能力等需求,因此,科研人员开发了很多方法去解决上述问题,主要包括以下两大类.第一类,修饰光催化剂扩大光激发范围以及增强可见光吸收.例如构建固溶体、引入表面缺陷、杂质掺杂、染料敏化和表面等离子体共振等策略.第二类,构建半导体异质结,通过界面处的协同作用有效促进光生电子空穴对的转移与分离.例如type Ⅱ型、直接Z型以及S型异质结等.有机成分与无机成分的杂化是有效解决上述问题的方法之一.大部分有机材料具有成本低、吸光系数高以及比表面积大等优点;但低的强度以及宽的带隙限制了有机材料在光催化上的应用.而大部分无机材料具有高强度、窄带隙以及良好的光学性能.但低韧性和较差的分散性限制了无机材料在光催化上的应用.无机-有机杂化材料不仅保留了无机与有机组分的原有性质,而且界面处组分之间的协同作用会产生新的性质,如高的载流子传输能力和高的光吸收能力等.无机-有机杂化材料是多相材料,其中的一相是纳米材料,从而保留了纳米材料的量子尺寸效应、小尺寸效应、表面效应和宏观量子隧道效应;并且纳米结构的光催化剂相对于体相材料而言,具有比表面积高、载流子输运距离短和电子结构可调等优势.无机-有机杂化光催化材料既保留了高的光吸收能力,又保留了高氧化性的空穴与高还原性的电子,因而在光催化领域的应用越来越广泛.本文综述了无机-有机杂化材料的合成、机理以及在光催化领域的应用.首先,介绍了无机-有机光催化剂的作用、优缺点以及设计原则,讨论了自上而下和自下而上制备无机-有机杂化材料的方法,为设计杂化材料提供思路.其次,对有机组分与无机组分的相互作用力进行分类讨论.再次,阐述了无机-有机杂化材料的优势,讨论了进一步改进无机-有机光催化剂的方法.最后,总结了无机-有机杂化材料在光催化领域面临的问题与挑战,并对未来发展进行了展望.
