The degree of adaptability and phytoremediation potential of the plant species, Zacate Garrapata, Zacate Banderita, Chivatillo, Oregano, Chamizo and Sotol were evaluated on different substrates (S) composed of tailing (JM) and agricultural land (TA) in different proportions in mass: S1 = 100% TA, S2 = 100% JM, S3 = 50% TA and 50 % JM, S4 = 25% JM and 75% TA, S5 = 75% JM and 25% TA. With the combination of species and substrates, 30 treatments were generated. The heavy metals evaluated were Pb, As, Cu. Fe, Cr and Zn, in root, leaf and stem. The results showed significant statistical differences (p gree of adaptability and accumulation of heavy metals in interaction with S3. These two species can be used in the remediation of open pit tailing dam.

Prior to the availability of whole-genome sequences,our understanding of the structural and functional aspects of Prunus tree genomes was limited mostly to molecular genetic mapping of important traits and development of EST *** public release of the peach genome and others that followed,significant advances in our knowledge of Prunus genomes and the genetic underpinnings of important traits *** this review,we highlight key achievements in Prunus genetics and breeding driven by the availability of these whole-genome *** the structural and evolutionary contexts,we summarize:(1)the current status of Prunus whole-genome sequences;(2)preliminary and ongoing work on the sequence structure and diversity of the genomes;(3)the analyses of Prunus genome evolution driven by natural and man-made selection;and(4)provide insight into haploblocking genomes as a means to define genome-scale patterns of evolution that can be leveraged for trait selection in pedigree-based Prunus tree breeding programs ***,we summarize recent and ongoing work that leverages whole-genome sequences to identify and characterize genes controlling 22 agronomically important Prunus *** include phenology,fruit quality,allergens,disease resistance,tree architecture,and ***,we explore the application of sequence-based marker-assisted breeding technologies and other sequence-guided biotechnological approaches for Prunus crop ***,we present the current status of publically available Prunus genomics and genetics data housed mainly in the Genome Database for Rosaceae(GDR)and its updated functionalities for future bioinformatics-based Prunus genetics and genomics inquiry.

AIM: The pathogenesis of hypogonadism in liver cirrhosis is not well understood. Previous results from our laboratory showed that IGF-1 deficiency might play a pathogenetic role in hypogonadism of cirrhosis. The administration of IGF-1 for a short period of time reverted the testicular atrophy associated with advanced experimental *** aim of this study was to establish the historical progression of the described alterations in the testes,explore testicular morphology, histopathology, cellular proliferation, integrity of testicular barrier and hypophysogonadal axis in rats with no ascitic ***: Male Wistar rats with histologically-proven cirrhosis induced with carbon tetrachloride (CC14) for 11 wk,were allocated into two groups (n = 12, each) to receive recombinant IGF-1 (2 μg/100 g·d, sc) for two weeks or vehicle. Healthy rats receiving vehicle were used as control group (n = 12).RESULTS: Compared to controls, rats with compensated cirrhosis showed a normal testicular size and weight and very few histopathological testicular ***, these animals showed a significant diminution of cellular proliferation and a reduction of testicular transferrin expression. In addition, pituitary-gonadal axis was altered, with significant higher levels of FSH (Pgroup).CONCLUSION: The testicular barrier is altered from an early stage of cirrhosis, shown by a reduction of transferrin expression in Sertoli cells, a diminished cellular proliferation and an altered gonadal axis. The treatment with IGF-1 could be also useful in this initial stage of testicular disorder associated with compensated cirrhosis.

AIM: To compare the current capsule and a new prototype at 2 and 4 frames-per-second, respectively, in terms of clinical and therapeutic impact. METHODS: One hundred patients with an indication for capsule endoscopy were included in the study. All procedures were performed with the new device(SB24). After an exhaustive evaluation of the SB24 videos, they were then converted to "SB2-like" videos for their evaluation. Findings, frames per finding, and clinical and therapeutic impact derived from video visualization were analyzed. Kappa index for interobserver agreement and χ2 and Student's t tests for qualitative/quantitative variables, respectively, were used. Values of P under 0.05 were considered statistically ***: Eighty-nine out of 100 cases included in the study were ultimately included in the analysis. The SB24 videos detected the anatomical landmarks(Zline and duodenal papilla) and lesions in more patients than the "SB2-like" videos. On the other hand, the SB24 videos detected more frames per landmark/lesion than the "SB2-like" videos. However, these differences were not statistically significant(P > 0.05). Both clinical and therapeutic impacts were similar between SB24 and "SB2-like" videos(K = 0.954). The time spent by readers was significantly higher for SB24 videos visualization(P 0.05).CONCLUSION: More frames-per-second detect more landmarks, lesions, and frames per landmark/lesion, but is time consuming and has a very low impact on clinical and therapeutic management.

目的 :探讨树对丙型肝炎病毒 (HCV)的易感性。方法 :对来自云南的树接种含 HCV的病人血清 ,然后用 PCR方法检测树血清的 HCV RNA,用反向被动血凝法测定抗 -HCV抗体 ,用原位 PCR方法检测树肝细胞内的 HCV RNA。结果 :34 .8%的树 (8/ 2 3)在接种 HCV后 ,血清中检出 HCV RNA,对 4例抗 HCV阳性和谷丙转氨酶升高的树的肝组织进行原位 PCR检测 ,结果在 1例肝细胞中检出 HCV RNA。此外 ,30 .4 %的树 (7/ 2 3)在接种后出现抗 -HCV抗体。部分阳性树均有不同程度的谷丙转氨酶异常升高及肝组织病理性炎症反应。对照组动物 (2只 )从未出现 HCV RNA及抗 -HCV抗体 ,但其中一只树曾有一过性转氨酶升高。结论 :树可以感染 HCV。
