Strain localization frequently occurs in cohesive materials with friction(e.g.,composites,soils,rocks)and is widely recognized as a fundamental cause of progressive structural ***,achieving high-fidelity simulation for this issue,particularly concerning strong discontinuities and tension-compression-shear behaviors within localized zones,remains significantly *** response,this study introduces an integrated algorithmwithin the finite element framework,merging a coupled cohesive zone model(CZM)with the nonlinear augmented finite elementmethod(N-AFEM).The coupledCZMcomprehensively describes tension-compression and compressionshear failure behaviors in cohesive,frictional materials,while the N-AFEM allows nonlinear coupled intraelement discontinuities without necessitating extra nodes or nodal *** CZM validation using existing experimental data,this integrated algorithm was utilized to analyze soil slope failure mechanisms involving a specific tensile strength and to assess the impact of mechanical parameters(e.g.,tensile strength,weighting factor,modulus)in soils.

Bipolar blocking and commutation failure in the renewable energy transmission system through ultra-high voltage direct current will produce significant temporary *** paper analyzes the physical process of sending end grid overvoltage caused by two types of DC faults and establishes a DC overvoltage model considering renewable energy *** to characteristics of the sending end grid,the influence of the system equivalent impedance,the proportion of renewable energy output,the active and reactive power coefficients of the renewable energy sources during the low voltage ride through process on the overvoltage is analyzed respectively,and the relationship between the proportion of renewable energy output and the short-circuit ratio under the overvoltage constraint is *** validity and practicality of the model and analysis method proposed in this paper are verified by combining the typical transmission system at the sending end of the actual power grid and regional power grid systems.

Enhancing ride comfort has always constituted a crucial focus in the design and research of modern tracked vehicles,heavily reliant on the driving system's *** the road wheel is a key component of the driving system,traditional road wheels predominantly adopt a solid structure,exhibiting subpar adhesion performance and damping effects,thereby falling short of meeting the demands for high-speed,stable,and long-distance driving in tracked *** this issue,this paper proposes a novel type of flexible road wheel(FRW)characterized by a catenary *** study investigates the ride comfort of tracked vehicles equipped with flexible road wheels by integrating finite element and vehicle ***,three-dimensional(3D)finite element(FE)models of both flexible and rigid road wheels are established,considering material and contact *** models are validated through a wheel radial loading *** on the validated FE model,the paper uncovers the relationship between load and radial deformation of the road wheel,forming the basis for a nonlinear mathematical ***,a half-car model of a tracked vehicle with seven degrees of freedom is established using Newton's second law.A random road model,considering the track effect and employing white noise,is *** study concludes by examining the ride comfort of tracked vehicles equipped with flexible and rigid road wheels under various speeds and road *** results demonstrate that,in comparison to the rigid road wheel(RRW),the flexible road wheel enhances the ride comfort of tracked vehicles on randomly uneven *** research provides a theoretical foundation for the implementation of flexible road wheels in tracked vehicles.

Current mainstream object detection methods for large aerial images usually divide large images into patches and then exhaustively detect the objects of interest on all patches,no matter whether there exist objects or *** paradigm,although effective,is inefficient because the detectors have to go through all patches,severely hindering the inference *** paper presents an objectness activation network(OAN) to help detectors focus on fewer patches but achieve more efficient inference and more accurate results,enabling a simple and effective solution to object detection in large *** brief,OAN is a light fully-convolutional network for judging whether each patch contains objects or not,which can be easily integrated into many object detectors and jointly trained with them *** extensively evaluate our OAN with five advanced *** OAN,all five detectors acquire more than 30.0% speed-up on three large-scale aerial image datasets,meanwhile with consistent accuracy *** extremely large Gaofen-2 images(29200 × 27620 pixels),our OAN improves the detection speed by 70.5%.Moreover,we extend our OAN to driving-scene object detection and 4K video object detection,boosting the detection speed by 1.2.1. and 75.0%,respectively,without sacrificing the accuracy.

Multidimensional mechanical flexible organic crystals with tunable optoelectronic properties hold significant promise for practical application in complicated environmental ***,based on a newly designed“flexible”Schiff base small molecule with chirality,we presented a compatibly bendable and twistable organic single crystal with circularly polarized luminescence for the first ***,the twodimensional elastic bending of the chiral crystal was realized at both room and liquid nitrogen temperatures,along with recoverable plastic twisting at room ***,circular dichroism and circularly polarized luminescence spectroscopy were employed to characterize the chiral enantiomer in solution and the solid *** design strategy provides a new perspective for the future construction of chiroptical flexible crystal materials.

Heart failure(HF)is a clinical hallmark of cardiovascular syndrome leading to substantial morbidity,repeated hospitalization,and enormous healthcare *** elderly populations continue to increase,biomarker-guided diagnosis and treatment for age-related cardiac decline have become *** evidence demonstrates that N-terminal proBNP(NT-proBNP)can provide a unique window into the diagnosis and risk stratification with ***,a simple yet robust aptasensor is developed for on-site recognizing the NT-proBNP by its targeting aptamer,thus achieving the accurate diagnosis of *** aptasensing system is prepared by absorbing the fluorophore-labeled aptamer strand onto the graphene oxide(GO),leading to efficient quenching without possible off-site signal *** aptamer strand can specifically identify target NT-proBNP molecules via a versatile conformational transformation,resulting in the desorption of the aptamer-NTproBNP complexes from GO and re-generation fluorescence signal,thus allowing sensitive detection of NT-proBNP in 37 clinical blood *** advantage of the high specificity of aptamer-guaranteed recognitions of NT-proBNP,this aptasensor system readily achieves better diagnostic performance for HF than commercially adopted chemiluminescence immunoassay(Siemens,CLIA)in hospitals in terms of accuracy(89.2%vs 83.8%),specificity(89.5%vs 84.2%),and positive predictive value(88.9%vs 83.3%).This work provides a stable option for the diagnosis and treatment of elderly HF-related diseases inclinics.
