In order to assess Stathmin as an immunohistochemical(IhC)indicator of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K)pathway activity in hPV-negative head&neck squamous cell carcinoma(hNSCC),we compared Stathmin IhC to expression of other pathway *** also evaluated the relationship between Stathmin IhC and the mutational status of four key pathway ***,we ascertained whether Stathmin IhC correlates with tumor grade or primary *** exists between high Stathmin expression and high pAKT1 expression,indicating a role for Stathmin IhC as a marker of pathway *** analysis did not show correlation between Stathmin IhC and mutation of the four genes *** also observed an association between high Stathmin expression and oropharyngeal primary *** results suggest utility of Stathmin IhC as an indicator of PI3K pathway activity,and thereby demonstrate potential relevance of Stathmin IhC in the context,of hNSCC.

A novel,cheap and highly efficient Ni-Co/Mo_(2)C/Co_(6)Mo_(6)C_(2)@C nanocomposite has been successfully constructed through simple one-step carbonization method in a nitrogen *** in the precursor can effectively anchor molybdenum-based Keggin-type polyoxometallate and NiCo-layered double hydroxide through electrostatic and coordination interactions,which avoids the aggregation of catalyst particles during the pyrolysis *** optimization,the obtained Ni-Co/Mo_(2)C/Co_(6)Mo_(6)C_(2)@C possesses small size(3-8 nm),large specific surface area and hierarchical pore *** importantly,Ni-Co/Mo_(2)C/Co_(6)Mo_(6)C_(2)@C presents remarkable hydrogen evolution reaction activity with low overpotentials in 0.5 mol·L^(-1)h_(2)SO_(4)(102.3 mV)and 1 mol·L^(-1)KOh(95 mV)to afford the current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2),as well as small Tafel slopes of 82.49 and 99.92 mV·dec^(-1),***,this catalyst also shows outstanding stability for 12 h without a significant change in current *** excellent catalytic performance of Ni-Co/Mo_(2)C/Co_(6)Mo_(6)C_(2)@C can put down to the synergistic effect between multiple components and the small size of the *** work provides unique insights into the preparation of efficient transition metal-based catalysts for hER.

Localized CdS homojunctions with optimal ratio of high and low index facets are constructed to dy-namically boost h_(2)O splitting into h_(2)energy by hydrothermal method in combination with *** density functional theory,hall effect,and in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spec-troscopy,it is revealed that photo-irradiated e^(−)and h^(+)can be spatially separated and directionally trans-ferred to the reductive high-index facet{002}and oxidative low-index facet{110}of localized CdS homo-junction induced by Fermi level difference of both high and low index facets to dehydrogenate ^(∗)-Oh and coupled ^(∗)-O intermediates for h_(2)and O_(2)yield,respectively,along with a solar conversion into hydrogen of 1.93%by AM 1.5 G irradiation at 65℃.The study work suggests a scientific perspective on the optimal ratio of high and low index facets to understand photo-generated charge carrier transfer dynamically and their photocatalytic principle for h_(2)O splitting reaction in kinetics.

The sluggish redox kinetics of polysulfides in lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries are a significant obstacle to their widespread adoption as energy storage ***,recent studies have shown that tungsten oxide(WO_(3))can facilitate the conversion kinetics of polysulfides in Li-S ***,we fabricated host materials for sulfur using nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes(N-CNTs)and WO_(3).We used low-cost components and simple procedures to overcome the poor electrical conductivity that is a disadvantage of metal *** composites of WO_(3) and N-CNTs(WO_(3)/N-CNTs)create a stable framework structure,fast ion diffusion channels,and a 3D electron transport network during electrochemical reaction *** a result,the WO_(3)/N-CNT-Li2S6 cathode demonstrates high initial capacity(1162 mA·h·g^(-1) at 0.5℃),excellent rate performance(618 mA·h·g^(-1) at 5.5℃),and a low capacity decay rate(0.093%up to 600 cycles at 2℃).This work presents a novel approach for preparing tungsten oxide/carbon composite catalysts that facilitate the redox kinetics of polysulfide conversion.

The composites of Mg_(20)Pr_(1)Sm_(3)Y_(1)Ni_(10)as-quenched alloy and 3 wt.%M(M=CoS,CoS_(2),MoS_(2))catalyst were prepared by high-speed vibration ball *** effects of metal sulfides on the hydrogenation and dehydrogenation dynamics of alloys were *** results show that the as-milled composites contain a large number of amorphous embedded by a small amount of nanocrystals,and there are many point *** ball milling,the crystal grain size in the composites containing CoS is relatively larger,followed by CoS_(2)and MoS_(2)*** hydrogenation,the amorphous phase is crystallized to form Mg_(2)Nih_(4),Yh_(3),Pr_(8)h_(18.96),Sm_(3)h_7,Mg,Co or Mo phases,however,Mg_(2)Ni,Yh_(2),Prh_(2)and Ni_(3)Y phases appeared after *** maximum hydrogenation capacity of the composites containing CoS,CoS_(2)and MoS_(2)are 3.939,4.265 and 4.507 wt.%,*** hydrogenation saturation ratio of composite containing MoS_(2)is higher than that of the composites containing CoS and CoS_(2).The dehydrogenation activation energy of the composites containing CoS,CoS_(2)and MoS_(2)is 107.76,68.43 and 63.28 ***^(-1).h_(2).On the improvement of hydrogen storage performance of Mg_(20)Pr_(1)Sm_(3)Y_(1)Ni_(10)alloy,the catalytic effect of MoS_(2)sulfide is better than that of CoS_(2)sulfide,and which is better than CoS sulfide.
