These days,imbalanced datasets,denoted throughout the paper by Id,(a dataset that contains some(usually two)classes where one contains considerably smaller number of samples than the other(s))emerge in many real world problems(like health care systems or disease diagnosis systems,anomaly detection,fraud detection,stream based malware detection systems,and so on)and these datasets cause some problems(like under-training of minority class(es)and over-training of majority class(es),bias towards majority class(es),and so on)in classification process and ***,these datasets take the focus of many researchers in any science and there are several solutions for dealing with this *** main aim of this study for dealing with Ids is to resample the borderline samples discovered by support Vector data description(sVdd).There are naturally two kinds of resampling:Under-sampling(U-s)and oversampling(O-s).The O-s may cause the occurrence of over-fitting(the occurrence of over-fitting is its main drawback).The U-s can cause the occurrence of significant information loss(the occurrence of significant information loss is its main drawback).In this study,to avoid the drawbacks of the sampling techniques,we focus on the samples that may be *** data points that can be misclassified are considered to be the borderline data points which are on border(s)between the majority class(es)and minority class(es).First by sVdd,we find the borderline examples;then,the data resampling is applied over *** the next step,the base classifier is trained on the newly created ***,we compare the result of our method in terms of Area Under Curve(AUC)and F-measure and G-mean with the other state-of-the-art *** show that our method has betterresults than the other state-of-the-art methods on our experimental study.

Ketamine anesthesia reduces intestinal ischemia/reperfusion injury in rats

AIM: To investigate the effects of ketamine anesthesia on the motility alterations and tissue injury caused by ischemia/reperfusion in rats. METHOds: Thirty male Wistar rats weighing 200-250 g were used. Ischemia was induced by ob-structing blood flow in 25% of the total small intesti-nal length (ileum) with a vascular clamp for 45 min, after which either 60 min or 24 h of reperfusion was allowed. Rats were either anesthetized with pento-barbital sodium (50 mg/kg) or ketamine (100 mg/kg). Control groups received sham surgery. After 60 min of reperfusion, the intestine was examined for mor-phological alterations, and after 24 h intestinal basic electrical rhythm (BER) frequency was calculated, and intestinal transit determined in all groups. REsULTs: The intestinal mucosa in rats that were anesthetized with ketamine showed moderate altera-tions such as epithelial lifting, while ulceration and hemorrhage was observed in rats that received pento-barbital sodium after 60 min of reperfusion. Quantita-tive analysis of structural damage using the Chiu scaleshowed significantly less injury in rats that received ketamine than in rats that did not (2.35 ± 1.14 vs 4.58 ± 0.50, P distance traveled by a mark-er, expressed as percentage of total intestinal length, in rats that received pentobarbital sodium was 20% ± 2% in comparison with 25.9% ± 1.64% in rats that re-ceived ketamine (P = 0.017). BER was not statistically different between groups. CONCLUsION: Our results show that ketamine anesthesia is associated with diminished intestinal injury and abolishes the intestinal transit delay induced by ischemia/reperfusion.

Metabolic syndrome has become a global epidemic that adversely affects human health. Both genetic and environmental factors contribute to the pathogenesis of metabolic disorders; however, the mechanisms that integrate these cues to regulate metabolic physiology and the development of metabolic disorders remain incompletely defined. Emerging evidence suggests that sWlIsNF *** complexes are critical for directing metabolic reprogramming and adaptation in response to nutritional and other physiological sigrials. The ATP-dependent sWl/sNF ing complexes comprise up to 11 subunits, among which the BAF60 subunit serves as a key link between the core complexes and specific transcriptional factors. The BAF60 subunit has three members, BAF60a, b, and c. The distinct tissue distribution patterns and regulatory mechanisms of BAF60 proteins confer each isoform with specialized functions in different m^abolic cell types. In this review, we summarize the emerging roles and mechanisms of BAF60 proteins in the regulation of nutrient sensing and energy metabolism under physiological and disease conditions.

Effect of laser power on porosity and mechanical properties of GH4169 fabricated by laser melting deposition

The porosity and mechanical properties of GH4169(a precipitation strengthened nickel-base superalloy)specimens fabricated using the laser melting deposition technique at different laser powers were *** results showed that the dendritic structure with the Laves phase and carbides embedded in the Ni-γ matrix formed in the as-fabricated GH4169 due to the strong temperature gradient and the high cooling *** remarkably decreased first and slightly increased subsequently as the laser power increased from 300 to 800 *** lowest porosity of the specimens characterized by 3d X-ray tomography is 0.28%.The specimens fabricated at 600 W tensiled along the direction perpendicular to the building direction exhibit the average yield strength of 587 MPa,the ultimate tensile strength of 903 MPa,and the elongation at fracture of 13.6%.Furthermore,the fatigue limit of the 600 W fabricated specimens is 173.7 MPa corresponding to the fatigue ratio of *** the relationship among the porosity,laser power and mechanical properties is discussed.

Metabolic and hepatic effects of liraglutide,obeticholic acid and elafibranor in diet-induced obese mouse models of biopsy-confirmed nonalcoholic steatohepatitis

AIM To evaluate the pharmacodynamics of compounds in clinical development for nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NAsH) in obese mouse models of *** Male wild-type C57 BL/6 J mice(dIO-NAsH) and Lep^(ob/ob)(ob/ob-NAsH) mice were fed a diet high in trans-fat(40%), fructose(20%) and cholesterol(2%) for 30 and 21 wk, respectively. Prior to treatment, all mice underwent liver biopsy for confirmation and stratification of liver steatosis and fibrosis, using the nonalcoholic fatty liver disease activity score(NAs) and fibrosis staging system. The mice were kept on the diet and received vehicle, liraglutide(0.2 mg/kg, sC, BId), obeticholic acid(OCA, 30 mg/kg PO, Qd), or elafibranor(30 mg/kg PO, Qd) for eight weeks. Within-subject comparisons were performed on changes in steatosis, inflammation, ballooning degeneration, and fibrosis scores. In addition, compound effects were evaluated by quantitative liver histology, including percent fractional area of liver fat, galectin-3, and collagen 1 *** Liraglutide and elafibranor, but not OCA, reduced body weight in both models. Liraglutide improved steatosis scores in dIO-NAsH mice only. Elafibranor and OCA reduced histopathological scores of hepatic steatosis and inflammation in both models, but only elafibranor reduced fibrosis severity. Liraglutide and OCA reduced total liver fat, collagen 1 a1, and galectin-3 content, driven by significant reductions in liver weight. The individual drug effects on NAsH histological endpoints were supported by global gene expression(RNA sequencing) and liver lipid *** dIO-NAsH and ob/ob-NAsH mouse models show distinct treatment effects of liraglutide, OCA, and elafibranor, being in general agreement with corresponding findings in clinical trials for NAsH. The present data therefore further supports the clinical translatability and utility of dIO-NAsH and ob/ob-NAsH mouse models of NAsH for probing the therapeutic efficacy of compounds in preclinical d

Microstructural Features of Friction-Welded Ti-6Al-4V Joint

Microstructural features of friction-welded Ti-6Al-4V joint have been investigated by both optical microscope and transmission electron microscope (TEM). The microstructure of the welded joint is not uniform. It can be classified into the phase transformed region(P), the deformed region(d) and the region of unchanged base metal(B). In the phase transformed region, the microstructure consists of platelike, acicular and equiaxed alpha phase plus beta phase between them and the dislocations can be observed in some or phase particles. The equiaxed alpha phase mainly distributes in the near center of rod specimen. The quantity of platelike and acicular alpha phase and the size of the grains increase progressively along the radial direction of the rod type welded joint. In the deformed region, the grains are reoriented and the microstructure consists of the elongated alpha phase containing a lot of dislocations and intergranular beta phase.
