田鼠属的一些近缘种间具有独特的社会行为多态性。例如Microtusochrogaster和M .pinetorum为一夫一妻制 ,而M .montanus和M .pennsylvanicus则为独居和一夫多妻制。无论是在野外还是人工饲养的条件下 ,单配制的田鼠其雌、雄成年个体一经交配即在两者之间形成长期的配偶关系并且双亲共同哺育后代。已证明神经多肽加压素 (Vasopressin)参与了田鼠单配制行为的神经调控。本篇综述了过去以及近期关于加压素调控田鼠配偶关系形成的研究结果和进展。首先 ,阐述了加压素V1a受体 (V1aR)在脑分布的种间差异 ,并以此来鉴别特定脑区在配偶关系形成中的功能 ;其次 ,探讨了运用V1aR拮抗物的药理学方法来决定究竟哪些脑区参与配偶关系的形成 ,还描述了田鼠种间V1aR基因结构和功能的不同 ,以及这些不同对V1aR在大脑的分布和行为调控潜在的作用机制 ;最后 ,讨论了最新的研究结果 ,即对一夫多妻制田鼠进行脑V1aR基因的改造 ,从而使之表现出一夫一妻制田鼠的行为。总之。

Interspecific interactions are key d.ivers of ind.vid.al and.population-level fitness in a wid. range of ***,in marine ecosystems,it is relatively unknown which biotic and.abiotic factors impact behavioral interactions between competing *** assessed.the impact of weather,marine prod.ctivity,and.population structure on the behavioral agonistic interactions between South American fur seals(SAFSs),Arctocephalus australis,and.South American sea lions(SASLs),Otaria byronia,in a breed.ng colony of *** hypothesized.that agonistic interactions between SAFSs and.SASLs respond.to biotic and.abiotic factors such as SAFS population structure,marine prod.ctivity,and.*** found.that SASL and.SAFS interactions almost always resulted.in negative impacts on the social structure or reprod.ctive success of the SAFS *** ad.lt males initiated.stamped.s of SAFS and.or abd.cted.and.pred.ted.SAFS *** SAFS males abund.nce and.severe weather events were negatively correlated.with agonistic interactions between ***,proxies for lower marine prod.ctivity such as higher sea surface temperature and.lower catches of d.merso-pelagic fish were the most important pred.ctors of more frequent agonistic interactions between SAFS and.*** the current scenario of d.cline in marine biomass d.e to global climate change and.overfishing,agonistic interactions between competing marine pred.tors could.increase and.exacerbate the negative impacts of environmental change in these species.

A protocol of polymerase chain reaction-rand.m amplified.polymorphic d.As (PCR-RAPd.) was established.to analyse the gene d.versity and.genotype id.ntification for clones of Sequoia sempervirens (d. d.n) End.. in Chile. Ten (out of 34) clones from introd.ction trial located.in Voipir-Villarrica, Chile, were stud.ed. The PCR-RAPd. technique and.a mod.fied.hexad.cyltrimethylammonium bromid. (CTAB) protocol were used.for genomic d.A extraction. The PCR tests were carried.out employing 10-mer rand.m primers. The amplification prod.cts were d.tected.by electrophoresis in agarose gels. Forty nine polymorphic band. were obtained.with the selected.primers (BG04, BF07, BF12, BF13, and.BF14) and.were ord.red.accord.ng to their molecular size. The genetic similarity between samples was calculated.by the Jaccard.ind.x and.a d.nd.ogram was con- structed.using a cluster analysis of unweighted.pair group method.using arithmetic averages (UPGMA). Of the primers tested. 5 (out of 60) RAPd.primers were selected.for their reprod.cibility and.high polymorphism. A total of 49 polymorphic RAPd.band. were d.tected.out of 252 band.. The genetic similarity analysis d.monstrates an extensive genetic variability between the tested.clones and.the d.nd.ogram d.picts the genetic relationships among the clones, suggesting a geographic relationship. The results ind.cate that the RAPd.markers permitted.the id.ntification of the assayed.clones, although they are d.rived.from the same geo- graphic origin.

As climate change negotiations progress,monitoring biomass and.carbon stocks is becoming an important part of the current forest ***,national governments are interested.in d.veloping forest-monitoring strategies using geospatial *** statistical method. for mapping biomass,there is a nonparametric approach called.k-nearest neighbor(kNN).We compared.four variations of d.stance metrics of the kNN for the spatially-explicit estimation of aboveground.biomass in a portion of the Mexican north bord.r of the intertropical *** d.rived.climatic,and.topographic pred.ctor variables were combined.with the Mexican National Forest Inventory(NFI)d.ta to accomplish the *** of d.stance metrics applied.into the kNN algorithm was evaluated.using a cross valid.tion leave-one-out *** results ind.cate that the Most Similar Neighbor(MSN)approach maximizes the correlation between pred.ctor and.response variables(r=0.9).Our results are in agreement with those reported.in the *** find.ngs confirm the pred.ctive potential of the MSN approach for mapping forest variables at pixel level und.r the policy of Red.cing Emission from d.forestation and.Forest d.grad.tion(REd.+).

The stud. was carried.out to evaluate six d.fferent hyd.ophytes which were tested.associated.by twos: 1) Lemna gibba and.Ceratophyllum d.mersum, 2) Berula erecta and.Lemna gibba, 3) Polygonum punctatum and.Hyd.ocotyle ranunculoid.s, and.4) Polygonum punctatum and.Azolla filiculoid.s, for the purpose of removing nitrate from the water of Reyes Aztecas Lake, which is located.southeast of Mexico City in Tláhuac d.strict, Mexico d.F. The average of removal efficiency was obtained.in relation to the d.fferent hyd.ophytes associations based.on five sampling stations. The statistical analysis revealed.that there were no significant d.fferences among hyd.ophytes, all show remarkable ability to remove nitrate in water.

An anchor-shaped.geometrical d.sign for a Submerged.Entry Nozzle for the slab continuous casting of steel is presented.in this work. To evaluate its performance, transient 3d.multiphase numerical simulations were carried.out using the Computational Fluid.d.namics technique. The performance of the proposed.nozzle is numerically compared.with that of a conventional cylind.ical nozzle. Computer results show that the chance of formation of Karman’s vortexes and.powd.r entrapment becomes small for the anchor-shaped.SEN.
