Macroalgae have long been used as biological indicators of marine ecosystem health worldwide due to their ecological importance and sensitivity to environmental stress.A number of previous studies have utilized macroalgal communities in monitoring surveys of environmental *** study examined the characteristics and patterns of marine macroalgal communities in the Yellow Sea off the western coast of *** were analyzed for the number of species,biomass,and coverage ratio by macroalgal *** the study period,82 macroalgal species(10 green algae,17 brown algae,and 55 red algae)were identified at the five study sites,with the highest number of species found at Gwanrido and Uido(both containing 41 species)and the lowest at Daeijakdo(27 species).The average biomass(via dry weight)was 98.63 g/m^(2),consisting of green algae(8.39 g/m^(2)),brown algae(35.08 g/m^(2)),and red algae(55.16 g/m^(2)).The dominant macroalgae species in terms of biomass were Corallina pilulifera,Sargassum thunbergii,and Ulva australis in the intertidal zones,and Botryocladia wrightii and Gelidium elegans in the subtidal ***,evenness,and diversity indices based on the biomass of abundant species were 5.08,0.65,and 2.30,respectively,over the entire study *** on the evaluation of the environmental states by the community indices,overall,the Ecological Evaluation Index of macroalgae communities in the study area was marked as“Good-Moderate”,but was determined as“ModerateLow”at several sites during *** results can be a direct approach in the assessment of coastal habitats in which anthropogenic as well as climate change influences persist.

Quaternary intraplate magmatism formed several volcanic islands and seamounts,including Dokdo(DD),Ulleungdo(UD),Simheungtack(ST),Anyongbok,and Isabu in the southwest of the East Sea back-arc *** this study,we present whole-rock geochemical,zircon U–Pb age,and in situ O–Hf isotope data for the submerged volcanic rocks from DD,UD,and ST to provide new insights into the eruption timing of these volcanoes and constrain the magma evolution *** samples used in this study were trachytes and exhibited ferroan,alkalic,and metaluminous to weakly peraluminous *** showed light rare earth element(REE)-enriched patterns with(La/Yb)N ratios of 25.3–31.7 and mostly negative Eu anomalies in a chondrite-normalized REE *** addition,they were enriched in large-ion lithophile elements and high field strength elements;they exhibited positive Pb anomalies and strongly negative Ba,Sr,P,and Ti *** zircons yielded a weighted-mean 206Pb/238U age of 2.61,0.348–0.704,and 2.76–2.94 Ma for the DD,UD,and ST trachytes,*** zircons exhibited lowerδ^(18)O values than normal depleted mantle values,regardless of the crystallization age and spatial distribution of ***δ^(18)O values showed no correlation with U contents or Th/U ratios,indicating that the lowδ^(18)O signatures were of primary magmatic *** Hf isotopic compositions of the zircons were relatively heterogeneous but predominately characterized by positive eHf *** O–Hf mixing modeling revealed that low-δ^(18)O rocks with positive eHf values from the UD and ST volcanoes were derived from a hybrid source of recycled juvenile crustal materials with low-δ^(18)O and positive eHf signatures and an enriched mantle source with normalδ^(18)O and negative eHf *** juvenile oceanic crust in the source was likely metasomatized by seawater at high temperatures prior to *** contrast,the felsic magma that formed the DD volcanoes may have assimilated with regional

随着电力行业碳减排任务的推进,电-碳耦合愈加紧密,为综合能源系统优化运行带来了新机遇、新挑战。根据新型电力系统多能互补、清洁低碳、安全可控、灵活高效、开放互动的基本特征,提出需求侧动态电-碳双响应的日前多级市场交易方法。首先,基于碳排放流理论,将源侧碳排放信息传递至各园区,实现差异运行方式下电力系统源-网-荷的精细化“电-碳”联动。然后,构建需求侧电-碳-绿证多元交易市场,鼓励更多主体参与市场,充分挖掘需求侧在经济、环境等方面的价值。最后,建立主网与各园区间的双层综合能源系统优化调度模型。上层主网发布动态电价与动态碳排放因子,下层需求侧的各园区生成有效的减排方案,使得源荷双侧形成有效互动,综合能源系统整体实现低碳经济运行。仿真结果表明,所提策略能够在较为精确表征碳排放的基础上,通过完善需求侧多元交易市场,深度挖掘园区的碳减排潜力,提高新能源的消纳率,有效平衡系统的经济性、安全性和低碳性。

为研究高地应力下硬质砂岩隧道岩爆破坏特性,真实模拟高地应力深部岩体的损伤破坏特性,建立基于PPR势能函数的Ⅰ/Ⅱ混合型黏聚力模型。通过紧凑拉伸试验和贯穿剪切试验,对硬质砂岩Ⅰ和Ⅱ型断裂特性进行研究,获得模型参数,然后建立高地应力下硬质砂岩隧道岩爆数值分析模型,对岩爆过程中的应力、能量进行追踪,分析硬质砂岩隧道岩爆孕育过程及破坏特性。研究结果表明:(1)硬质砂岩剪切强度和Ⅱ型断裂能均随围压的增大而增大,当围压超过30 MPa时,硬岩砂质Ⅱ型断裂性能趋于稳定。(2)当竖向应力远大于水平应力时,硬质砂岩隧道主要以层状剥落或楔形爆裂形式发生张裂–倾倒式的岩爆;反之,主要发生以岩体内部贯通性剪切破坏为特征的剪切–爆裂式岩爆;当水平应力与竖向应力均较大时,岩体卸荷破坏形式多表现出张剪性复合型破坏特征,主要发生张裂–剥落式岩爆。

Improving ionic conductivity of von-Alpen-type NASICON ceramic electrolytes via magnesium doping

NASICON (sodium (Na) superionic conductor) compounds have attracted considerable attention as promising solid electrolyte materials for advanced Na-based batteries. In this study, we investigated the improvement in ionic conductivities of von-Alpen-type NASICON (vA-NASICON) ceramic electrolytes by introducing a magnesium ion (Mg^(2+)) as a heterogeneous element. The optimal Mg-doped vA-NASICON exhibited a high ionic conductivity of 3.64×10^(−3) S·cm^(−1), which was almost 80% higher than that of un-doped vA-NASICON. The changes in physicochemical properties of the vA-NASICONs through the Mg introduction were systematically analyzed, and their effects on the ionic conductivities of the vA-NASICON were studied in detail. When the optimal ratio of Mg^(2+) was used in a synthetic process, the relative density (96.6%) and grain boundary ionic conductivity (σgb) were maximized, which improved the total ionic conductivity (σt) of the vA-NASICON. However, when Mg^(2+) was introduced in excess, the ionic conductivity decreased because of the formation of an undesired sodium magnesium phosphate (NaxMgyPO_(4)) secondary phase. The results of this study are expected to be effectively applied in the development of advanced sodium-based solid electrolytes with high ionic conductivities.

DEAR EDITOR,Big cats,such as Amur tigers(Panthera tigris altaica)and Amur leopards(*** orientalis),are apex predator and have evolved specialized traits for hunting and carnivory(Moya et al.,2022),thus playing a crucial role in maintaining biodiversity and ecosystem integrity by regulating prey-predator ***,human-induced pressures,habitat fragmentation,and environmental alterations have restricted these species in small and isolated ***,all extant big cats are categorized as endangered or threatened according to their conservation *** tigers and Amur leopards share overlapping geographic ranges,habitats,and certain prey species in the forests of Northeast Asia(Jiang et al.,2015).To reduce interspecies conflict,these carnivores exhibit differentiated dietary and temporal *** tigers predominantly prey on large ungulates,while Amur leopards hunt small to medium-sized animals(Sugimoto et al.,2016).Additionally,they occupy different temporal niches,with tigers being active at night and leopards more active during the *** spatial and temporal niche partitioning,interspecific competition between these two species is ***,benefiting from their greater size,have a competitive advantage over leopards,which can manifest in occasional leopard predation by tigers and declines in leopard populations with increasing tiger density(Jiang et al.,2015).Tigers also displace leopards from marginal habitats in nature reserves where they coexist.

In this letter,we discuss the topic of necessity of routine laboratory monitoring during isotretinoin treatment for *** to park and colleagues,it is advisable to monitor the levels of triglycerides,alanine aminotransferase,and aspartate aminotransferase every 5 to 6 ***,the levels of total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein should be checked within the first two months of *** is a commonly prescribed agent mainly used to treat *** its high effectiveness,it necessitates regular monitoring of laboratory parameters due to its side effect ***,there remains a lack of consensus on the appropriate frequency for monitoring these parameters during treatment with *** letter will provide insight into this complex and controversial *** on existing literature,we concluded that the incidence of changes in lipid and liver aminotransferase levels during isotretinoin treatment for acne was low and likely clinically *** generally healthy people,we recommend testing lipid and liver profiles once at baseline and a second time at the peak ***,frequent testing might still be beneficial in certain populations of patients.

Tauopathies,such as Alzheimer's disease(AD),are neurodegenerative diseases characterized by the deposition of neurofibrillary tangles comprising hyperphosphorylated tau protein in the human brain.1 Given that abnormal epigenetic alterations in heterochromatin configuration have been documented in AD patients and transgenic animal models of AD,2 we investigated the roles of novel heterochromatin-associated interactors3 in *** transgenic flies via UAS-Gal4 binary system,we found that knockdown of Hipp1(HP1a and insulator partner protein-1)3 ***4ow(referred to as"tau"hereafter for simplicity)2-induced locomotion defects,reduced lifespan,and degeneration of brain ***,Hipp1 knockdown restored tau-driven aberrant expression of putative insulator targets and aberrant insulator-mediated epigenetic ***1 may have a role as an insulator-binding partner regarding being implicated in tauinduced neurodegeneration.
