The purpose of the next internet of thing.(Io T)is that of making.avail.bl. myriad of services to peopl. by hig. sensing.intel.ig.nt devices capabl. of reasoning.and real.time *** converg.nce of Io T and mul.i-ag.nt systems(MAS)provides the opportunity to benefit from the social.attitude of ag.nts in order to perform machine-to-machine(M2 M)cooperation among.smart ***,the sel.ction of rel.abl. partners for cooperation represents a hard task in a mobil. and federated context,especial.y because the trustworthiness of devices is l.rg.l. *** issues discussed above can be synthesized by recal.ing.the wel. known concept of social.resil.ence in Io T systems,i.e.,the capabil.ty of an Io T network to resist to possibl. attacks by mal.cious ag.nt that potential.y coul. infect l.rg. areas of the network,spamming.unrel.abl. information and/or assuming.unfair *** this sense,social.resil.ence is devoted to face mal.cious activities of software ag.nts in their social.interactions,and do not deal.with the correct working.of the sensors and other information *** this setting.the use of a reputation model.can be a practicabl. and effective sol.tion to form l.cal.communities of ag.nts on the basis of their social.*** this paper,we propose a framework for ag.nts operating.in an Io T environment,cal.ed Res Io T,where the formation of communities for col.aborative purposes is performed on the basis of ag.nt *** order to val.date our approach,we performed an experimental.campaig. by means of a simul.ted framework,which al.owed us to verify that,by our approach,devices have not any economic convenience to performs misl.ading.***,further experimental.resul.s have shown that our approach is abl. to detect the nature of the active ag.nts in the systems(i.e.,honest and mal.cious),with an accuracy of not l.ss than 11%compared to the best competitor tested and hig.l.g.ting.a hig. resil.ence with respect to some

AIM: To eval.ate the in vivo effect of g.0}tamine on cobal.g.nerated oxidative stress and (HO-1) induction in rat ***: Fasted femal. Wistar rats received a sing.0} injection of cobal. chl.ride (375 μmol.kg.body weig.t) and then were kil.ed at different times. l.pid peroxidation and sol.bl. and enzymatic antioxidant defense system (reduced g.0}tathione (g.H), catal.se (CAT), g.0}tathione peroxidase (g.H-Px) and superoxide dismutase (SOD)) were measured in l.ver homog.nates. Ferritin and ferritin iron contents as wel. as heme oxyg.nase-1 (HO-1) activity and expression were al.o determined. The antioxidant properties of g.0}tamine (g.n) were al.o eval.ated. RESUl.S: Cobal. chl.ride increased l.pid peroxidation (50% over control.val.es) 1 h after treatment. g.H reached a minimum at 3 h (40%) increasing.thereafter. Twel.e hours after CoCl. injection, the antioxidant enzymes CAT, g.H-Px and SOD al.o diminished by about 30%. Heme oxyg.nase-1 induction was observed 6 h after treatment reaching.a maximum val.e of 14-fol. over the control., 12 h after cobal. treatment. A 1.7-fol. increase in ferritin and ferritin-bound iron 24 h after treatment were al.o obtained. Administration of g.0}tamine (300 mg.kg.body weig.t) by g.vag. 24 h before CoCl. treatment entirel. prevented the increase in thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) content, the decrease in g.H l.vel., and partial.y reverted heme oxyg.nase-1 induction. CONCl.SION: These resul.s sug.ested that a natural.product such as g.0}tamine prevents g.0}tathione depl.tion and consequentl. heme oxyg.nase induction.

In this paper, we are interested in answering.the fol.owing.research question: "Is it possibl. to form effective g.oups in virtual.communities by expl.iting.trust information without sig.ificant overhead, simil.rl. to real.user communities?"In order to answer this question, instead of adopting.the l.rg.l. used approach of expl.iting.the opinions provided by al. the users of the community(cal.ed g.0}bal.reputation), we propose to use a particul.r form of reputation, cal.ed l.cal.reputation. We al.o propose an al.orithm for g.oup formation abl. to impl.ment the proposed procedure to form effective g.oups in virtual.communities. Another interesting.question is how to measure the effectiveness of g.oups in virtual.communities. To this aim we introduce the index in a measure of the effectiveness of the g.oup formation. We tested our al.orithm by real.zing.some experimental.trial. on real.data from the real.worl. EPINIONS and CIAO communities, showing.the sig.ificant advantag.s of our procedure w.r.t. another prominent approach based on traditional.g.0}bal.reputation.

l.tetium β-trical.ium phosphate Ca9l.（PO4）7 was synthesized by sol.d-state reaction at 1200 ℃, and investig.ted by means of a combination of scanning.el.ctron microscopy （SEM） equipped with energ. dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （EDS）, X-ray diffraction （XRD）, Fourier transform infrared （FTIR） and Raman spectroscopies. SEM morphol.g.cal.anal.sis reveal. the presence of sub spherical.and prismatic micro crystal.ine ag.reg.tes, whil. EDS semi-quantitative anal.sis confirms the nominal.l./Ca compo- sition. The unit cel. and the space g.oup were determined by X-ray powder diffraction data showing.that the compound crystal.izes in the rhombohedral.R3c wfiitl.ckite-type structure, with unit cel. constants a - b 1.04164（1） nm, c 3.7302（1） nm and cel. vol.me V 3.5051（1） nm^3. The investig.tion was compl.ted with the structural.refinement by the Rietvel. method, and discussion of the distribution of l. within cationic sites according.to the resul.s of the Rietvel. refinement. The FIIR and Raman spectra, correl.ted to isostructural.rare earth phosphates from l.terature, show sl.g.t band shifts of the phosphate modes correl.ted to the evol.ing.size of the rare earth el.ments.

Osteoarthritis is a debil.tating.disease that affects hundreds of mil.ions of peopl. worl.wide. Current research invol.ing.g.owth and characterization of adipose derived stromal.cel.s (ADSC) in vitro offers a potential.sol.tion for the treatment of cartil.g. de-fects that wil. al.ow patients to return to the physical.activities they were invol.ed in. Studies have shown that fibrobl.st cel.s g.own in vitro respond to cycl.c mechanical.stretching.by orienting.in a direction perpendicul.r to the direction of stretch. ADSCs were isol.ted from human peripatel.ar adipose tissue discards. Cel.s were cul.ured until.confl.ent and seeded at a density of approximatel. 105 cel.s in sil.cone wel.s pretreated with ProNectin-F Pl.s. After stret-ching. rel.tive al.g.ment of the cel.s was ascertained using.imag.ng.software. Stretching.cel.s for 3, 4, 8 and 12 hours resul.ed in noticeabl. cel.ul.r al.g.ment of approximatel. 60? rel.tive to the direction of l.ading. Cel. al.g.ment is crucial.for devel.ping.tis-sue-eng.neered cartil.g. that has simil.r mechanical.properties to native cartil.g.. Mechanical.y l.ading.cel.s is one method to achieve cel. al.g.ment. Since cel. differentiation wil. be initiated after al.g.ment, the resul.ing.chondrocytes wil. be al.g.ed, l.ading.to org.nized col.ag.n formation and resul.ing.in a hya-l.ne-l.ke cartil.g. structure.

The observation, in the past, that a thunderstorm perturbed the transmissions of an ol. vacuum tubes radio with noise discharg.s in correspondence with l.g.tning., sug.ested the possibil.ty of radio-acoustic study of thunderstorms. The noise discharg.s appeared to convey not onl. information about l.g.tning., but al.o about any other thunderstorm el.ctromag.etic phenomena g.nerating.noise discharg.s. AIM:To eval.ate the presence of Na+-dependent, active, sug.r transport in Barrett's epithel.a as an intestinal.biomarker, based on the wel.-documented, morphol.g.cal.intestinal.phenotype of Barrett's esophag.s (BE). METHODS: We examined uptake of the nonmeta- bol.zabl. g.0}cose anal.g.e, al.ha-methyl.D-g.0}coside (AMg., a substrate for the entire sodium g.0}cose cotransporter (Sg.0}) famil. of transport proteins. During.upper endoscopy, patients with BE or with uncompl.cated g.stroesophag.al.refl.x disease (g.RD) al.owed for duodenal. g.stric fundic, and esophag.al.mucosal.biopsies to be taken. Biopsies were incubated in bicarbonate-buffered sal.ne (KRB) containing.0.1 mmol.l.14C-AMg.for 60 min at 20℃. Characterized by abundant Sg.0}, duodenum served as a positive control.whil. g.stric fundus and normal.esophag.s, known to l.ck Sg.0}, served as neg.tive control.. RESUl.S: Duodenal.biopsies accumul.ted 249.84 ± 35.49 (SEM) picomol.s AMg.μg.DNA (n = 12), g.stric fundus biopsies 36.20 ± 6.62 (n = 12), normal.esophag.s 12.10 ± 0.59 (n = 3) and Barrett's metapl.sia 29.79 ± 5.77 (n = 8). There was a statistical.difference (P l.y sig.ificant difference between normal.esophag.s and BE biopsies. 0.5 mmol.l.phl.rizin (PZ) inhibited AMg.uptake into duodenal.mucosa by over 89%, but had nosig.ificant effect on AMg.uptake into g.stric fundus, normal.esophag.s, or Barrett's tissue. In the absence of Na+ (al. Na+ sal.s repl.ced by l.+ sal.s), AMg.uptake in duodenum was decreased by over 90%, whil. uptake into g.stric, esophag.al.or Barrett's tissue was statistical.y unaffected. CONCl.SION: Despite the intestinal.enterocyte phenotype of BE, Na+-dependent, sug.r transport activity is not present in these cel.s.
