Alzheimer’s disease is a severe neuron disease that damages brain cells which leads to permanent loss of memory also called *** people die due to this disease every year because this is not curable but early detection of this disease can help restrain the ***’s ismost common in elderly people in the age bracket of 65 and *** automated system is required for early detection of disease that can detect and classify the disease into multiple Alzheimer *** learning and machine learning techniques are used to solvemanymedical problems like *** proposed system Alzheimer Disease detection utilizes transfer learning on Multi-class classification using brain Medical resonance imagining(MRI)working to classify the images in four stages,Mild demented(MD),Moderate demented(MOD),Non-demented(ND),Very mild demented(VMD).Simulation results have shown that the proposed systemmodel gives 91.70%*** also observed that the proposed system gives more accurate results as compared to previous approaches.

Kinetic Study of Methanol Dehydration to Dimethyl Ether in Catalytic Packed Bed Reactor over Resin

Dimethyl ether (DME) is considered as a significant fuel alternative with a critical manufacturing process. Only a few authors have presented the kinetic analysis of attractive and alternative catalysts to Al2O3 and/or zeolite in DME production, despite the fact that there is a large library of kinetic studies for these commercial catalysts. The purpose of this research was to contribute to this direction by conducting a catalytic test to determine kinetic parameters for methanol dehydration over sulfonic acid catalysts (resin). However, due to the relevance of the mathematical description of this process in the industry was also studied, a study of kinetics parameters and mathematical modeling of methanol dehydration in an atmospheric gas phase in a fixed bed reactor with a temperature range (90°C - 120°C) was examined. The Langmuir-Hinshelwood (L-H) model provides the best fit to experimental data, with an excellent R2 = 0.9997, and the experimental results were compared to those predicted by these models with very small deviations. The kinetic parameters were found to be in good agreement with the Arrhenius equation, with acceptable straight-line graphs. The activation energy E was computed and found to be 27.66 kJ/mole, with an average variation of 0.32 percent between the predicted and calculated results. Simple mathematical continuum models (plug flow reactor PFR) showed an acceptable agreement with the experimental data.

Biaxial Constitutive Model of Active Coronary Media Based on Microstructural Information

Detailed morphological data of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC) of coronary arteries were limited. The present study was to quantify dimensions and orientation of swine coronary VSMC and to develop a micro-structural constitutive model of active media. It was found that geometrical parameters of VSMC (length, width, spatial aspect ratio, and orientation) follow normal distributions, and VSMCs orientate towards the circumferential direction of vessels with oblique and symmetrical angles. A micro-structural model of media layer was developed to?accurately predict biaxial active responses of coronary arterial media, based on experimental measurements. The present morphological data base and micro-structural model lead to a better understanding of biomechanics of muscular vessels.

Thalassemia syndrome is a genetic blood disorder induced by the reduction of normal hemoglobin production,resulting in a drop in the size of red blood *** severe forms,it can lead to *** genetic disorder has posed a major burden on public health wherein patients with severe thalassemia need periodic therapy of iron chelation and blood transfusion for ***,controlling thalassemia is extremely important and is made by promoting screening to the general population,particularly among thalassemia *** Twitter is one of the most influential social media platforms for sharing opinions and discussing different topics like people’s health conditions and major public health *** individuals’sentiments in these tweets helps the research centers to formulate strategies to promote thalassemia screening to the *** effective Lexiconbased approach has been introduced in this study by highlighting a classifier called valence aware dictionary for sentiment reasoning(VADER).In this study applied twitter intelligence tool(TWINT),Natural Language Toolkit(NLTK),and VADER constitute the three main *** represents a gold-standard sentiment lexicon,which is basically tailored to attitudes that are communicated by using social *** contribution of this study is to introduce an effective Lexicon-based approach by highlighting a classifier calledVADERto analyze the sentiment of the general population,particularly among thalassemia carriers on the social media platform *** this study,the results showed that the proposed approach achieved 0.829,0.816,and 0.818 regarding precision,recall,together with F-score,*** tweets were crawled using the search keywords,“thalassemia screening,”thalassemia test,“and thalassemia diagnosis”.Finally,results showed that India and Pakistan ranked the highest in mentions in tweets by the public’s conversations on thalassemia screening with 181 and 164 tweets,respectively.

Potential role of killer immunoglobulin receptor genes among individuals vaccinated against hepatitis B virus in Lebanon

AIMTo explore the role of killer immunoglobulin receptor (KIR) genes in responsiveness or non-responsiveness to vaccination against hepatitis B virus. METHODSWe recruited 101 voluntary participants between March 2010 and December 2011. Sera samples from vaccinated and non-vaccinated participants were tested for the presence of anti-HBs antibodies as a measure of protection against hepatitis B, hepatitis B surface antigen and hepatitis B core antibody as indicators of infection by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. KIR gene frequencies were determined by polymerase chain reaction. RESULTSSera samples from 99 participants were tested for the levels of anti-HBs as an indicator of protection (≥ 10 mIU/mL) following vaccination as defined by the World Health Organization international reference standard. Among the vaccinated participants, 47% (35/74) had anti-HBs titers above 100 mIU/mL, 22% (16/74) had anti-HBs ranging between 10-100 mIU/mL, and 20% (15/74) had values of less than 10 mIU/mL. We report the lack of significant association between the number of vaccine dosages and the titer of antibodies among our vaccinated participants. The inhibitory KIR2DL1, KIR2DL4, KIR3DL1, KIR3DL2, and KIR3DL were detected in more than 95%, whereas KIR2DL2, KIR2DL3, KIR2DL5 (KR2DL5A and KIR2DL5B) were expressed in 56%, 84% and 42% (25% and 29%) of participants, respectively. The observed frequency of the activating KIR genes ranged between 35% and 55% except for KIR2DS4, detected in 95% of the study participants (40.6% 2DS4*001/002; 82.2% 2DS4*003/007). KIR2DP1 pseudogene was detected in 99% of our participants, whereas KIR3DP*001/02/04 and KIR3DP1*003 had frequencies of 17% and 100%, respectively. No association between the frequency of KIR genes and anti-HBs antibodies was detected. When we compared the frequency of KIR genes between vaccinated individuals with protective antibodies titers and those who lost their protective antibody levels, we did not detect a significant diff

Theoretical Calculation of the Low-Lying Electronic States of the Molecule BaS

Complete Active Space Self Consistent Field (CASSCF) with Multireference Configuration Interaction (MRCI) and Rayleigh-Schrodinger Perturbation Theory (RSPT2-RS2) methods have been used to investigate the potential energy curves for the 12 low-lying singlet and triplet electronic states in the representation 2s+1Λ(+/-) of the molecule BaS with Davidson corrections. The harmonic frequency we, the internuclear distance Re, the electronic energy with respect to the ground state Te, the rotational constants Be and the permanent dipole moment have been calculated for these electronic states. The eigenvalues Ev, the rotational constants Bv, the centrifugal distortion constant Dv and the abscissas of the turning points Rmin and Rmax have been investigated using the canonical functions approach. Nine new electronic states have been investigated here for the first time. The comparison between the values of the present work and those available in the literature for several electronic states shows a good agreement.

Exploring of Water Distillation by Single Solar Still Basins

The lack of potable water poses a big problem in Syria. The underground water, where exists, is usually brackish and cannot be used as it is for drinking purposes. Syria lies in high solar isolation band and the vast solar potential can be exploited to convert saline water to potable water. The most economical and easy way to accomplish this objective is using solar still. The purpose of the project is to evaluate the potential of using a solar still basin. To implement this goal three similarly solar still basins have been designed, manufactured and tested in selected day for saline water in month of November, 2010. Each solar still consists of insulated metal box with channels. Pyramidal glass covers attached to the basin at an angle (α = 45°). The three basins have divided into three models (M1, M2 and M3). Before taking the measurement of the distilled water three different amount of water used, so for the (model M1) 3 liter of water, (model M2) 6 liter and (model M3) 9 liter, to study and evaluate the effect of water depth in the basin. The average daily output was found to be (3.924) liters/day for model (M1), (3.116) liters/day for model (M2) and 2.408 liters/day for model (M3) for basin area of 1 m2 based on data of selected day.

Differentiation of Avian Pathogenic <i>Escherichia coli</i>Strains from Broiler Chickens by Multiplex Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and Random Amplified Polymorphic (RAPD) DNA

We examined 50 Escherichia coli (E. coli) strains isolated from broiler chickens between January 2013 to March 2014 in order to evaluate the epidemiological prevalence of avian pathogenic E. coli (APEC) in Jordan by multiplex PCR and random amplification of polymorphic DNA (RAPD) tests. The multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) which was used as tentative criteria of APEC targets 8 virulence associated genes;enteroaggregative toxin (astA), Type 1 fimbria adhesion (fimH), iron-repressible protein (irp2), P fimbriae (papC), aerobactin (iucD), temperature-sensitive hemagglutinin (tsh), vacuolating autotransporter toxin (vat), and colicin V plasmid operon (cva/cvi) genes. The number of detected genes could be used as a reliable index of their virulence. E. coli strains already typed as an APEC always harbor 5 to 8 genes, but non-APEC strains harbor less than 4 genes. Assuming the criteria of an APEC is possession of 5 or more virulence associated genes;we found that all 50 E. coli strains were classified as APEC strains. The RAPD analysis showed that the E. coli strains could be grouped into 35 of RAPD types by using these two different RAPD primer sets, RAPD analysis primer 4 5'AAGAGCCCGT5', and RAPD analysis primer 6 5'CCCGTCAGCA3'. The current study confirmed the endemic nature of APEC in broiler flocks in Jordan. It is essential that the biosecurity on poultry farms should be improved to prevent the introduction and dissemination of APEC and other agents. Furthermore, farmers need to be educated about the signs, lesions, and the importance of this agent.
