Cloud computingmakes dynamic resource provisioning more *** a functioning service is crucial,and changes are made when particular criteria are *** research explores the decentralized multi-cloud environment for allocating resources and ensuring the Quality of Service(QoS),estimating the required resources,and modifying allotted resources depending on workload and parallelism due to *** allocation is a complex challenge due to the versatile service providers and resource *** engagement of different service and resource providers needs a cooperation strategy for a sustainable quality of *** objective of a coherent and rational resource allocation is to attain the quality of *** also includes identifying critical parameters to develop a resource allocation mechanism.A framework is proposed based on the specified parameters to formulate a resource allocation process in a decentralized multi-cloud *** three main parameters of the proposed framework are data accessibility,optimization,and *** an optimization technique,these three segments are further divided into subsets for resource allocation and long-term service *** CloudSim simulator has been used to validate the suggested *** experiments have been conducted to find the best configurations suited for enhancing collaboration and resource allocation to achieve sustained *** results support the suggested structure for a decentralized multi-cloud environment and the parameters that have been determined.

Alzheimer’s disease is a severe neuron disease that damages brain cells which leads to permanent loss of memory also called *** people die due to this disease every year because this is not curable but early detection of this disease can help restrain the ***’s ismost common in elderly people in the age bracket of 65 and *** automated system is required for early detection of disease that can detect and classify the disease into multiple Alzheimer *** learning and machine learning techniques are used to solvemanymedical problems like *** proposed system Alzheimer Disease detection utilizes transfer learning on Multi-class classification using brain Medical resonance imagining(MRI)working to classify the images in four stages,Mild demented(MD),Moderate demented(MOD),Non-demented(ND),Very mild demented(VMD).Simulation results have shown that the proposed systemmodel gives 91.70%*** also observed that the proposed system gives more accurate results as compared to previous approaches.

To use energy systems based on renewable sources,it is very important to consider backup and hybrid sources because renewable energies are not available all the time;therefore,in this system,a geothermal pump is used to preheat the fluid,then the heated fluid is sent to the vacuum tube collector to reach a higher temperature by absorbing solar-thermal energy,and after absorbing solar energy,it goes to the evaporator to produce superheated steam and finally the superheated fluid moves to the steam turbine to produce *** the simulation,thermodynamic analysis along with economic analysis has been *** the base state,the energy efficiency and exergy of cogeneration were 0.566 and 0.156,respectively;the energy efficiency and electrical exergy were better than 0.057 and 0.065;and the overall output and immutable work values were 50 and 671.1 kW,respectively.

Due to the short distance between the sources of production and consumption,microgrids(MGs)have received considerable attention because these systems involve fewer losses and waste less *** another advantage of MGs is that renewable energy sources can be widely used because these resources are not fully available and can provide a part of the required *** purpose of this research is to model the MG considering the production sources of microturbines,gas turbines and internal combustion *** energies such as wind turbines(WTs)and photovoltaic(PV)cells have been used to provide part of the required power and,because of the lack of access to renewable energy sources at all times,energy reserves such as batteries and fuel cells(fCs)have been *** power of the microturbine,gas turbine,internal combustion engine,fC and battery in this system is 162,150,90,100 and 225 kW,*** modelling the studied system,optimization was done using the imperialist competitive algorithm to minimize production costs and provide maximum thermal and electrical *** maximum production power for PVs is equal to 0.6860 MWh and at this time this value for WTs is equal to 0.3812 MWh,in which case the excess electricity produced will be sold to the grid.

Background The Cerrado is the most biodiverse savanna and maintains other *** of its significance,this paper evaluated the Brazilian Cerrado’s climatic,environmental,and socioeconomic aspects using remote sensing data and spatial statistics(correlation analysis and principal components analysis—PCA).following the measures of sample adequacy(MSA)and Kaiser–Meyer–Olkin(KMO)tests,seventeen variables were *** The MSA revealed that the dataset had a good quality(0.76),and nine variables were selected:elevation,evapotranspiration,active fires,Human Development Index(HDI),land use and land cover(LULC;shrubland and cropland/rainfed),rainfall(spring and autumn),and *** correlation matrix indicated a positive(negative)association between HDI and autumn rainfall(HDI and active fires)with a value of 0.77(-0.55).The PCA results determined which three principal components(PC)were adequate for extracting spatial patterns,accounting for 68.02%of the total variance with respective values of 38.59%,16.89%,and 12.5%.Due to economic development and agribusiness,Cerrado’s northern(central,western,and southern)areas had negative(positive)score HDI values,as shown in ***(rainfall—spring and fall)and environmental(cropland/rainfed and shrubland)aspects dominated the PC2,with negative scores in northern and western portions due to the transition zone between Amazon and Cerrado biomes caused by rainfall *** the other hand,environmental aspects(LULC-shrubland and elevation)influenced the PC3;areas with high altitudes(>500 m)received a higher *** Agricultural expansion substantially affected LULC,leading to deforestation-caused suppression of native vegetation.

Background:Newborn screening is a precondition for early diagnosis and successful treatment of remethylation disorders and classical homocystinuria (cystathionine-β-synthase deficiency).Newborn screening for classical homocystinuria using total homocysteine measurement in dried blood spots has been very successfully performed for many years for newborns from ***:A new optimized newborn screening strategy for remethylation disorders and homocystinuria was developed and evaluated for newborns from Qatar using total homocysteine measurement as first-tier and methionine,methionine-phenylalanine-ratio and propionylcarnitine as *** cnt-offs were also retrospectively evaluated in newborn screening samples of 12 patients with remethylation disorders and vitamin B12 deficiency from Qatar and ***:Over a 12 months period,the proposed strategy led to a decrease in the recall rate in homocysteine screening for Qatar from 1.09% to 0.68%,while allowing for additional systematic inclusion of remethylation disorders and vitamin B12 deficiency into the screening panel for *** the evaluated period the applied strategy would have detected all patients with classical homocystinuria identified by the previous strategy and in addition 5 children with maternal nutritional vitamin B12 deficiency and one patient with an isolated remethylation *** retrospective evaluation of newborn screening samples of 12 patients from Germany and Qatar with remethlyation disorders or vitamin B12 deficiency showed that all of these patients would have been detected by the cutoffs used in the proposed new *** addition,an adapted strategy for Germany using methionine,methionine-phenylalanine-ratio and propionylcarnitine as first-tier,and homocysteine as a second-tier test was also positively evaluated ***:The proposed strategy for samples from Qatar allows inclusion of remethylation disorders and vitamin B12 deficiency

Thalassemia syndrome is a genetic blood disorder induced by the reduction of normal hemoglobin production,resulting in a drop in the size of red blood *** severe forms,it can lead to *** genetic disorder has posed a major burden on public health wherein patients with severe thalassemia need periodic therapy of iron chelation and blood transfusion for ***,controlling thalassemia is extremely important and is made by promoting screening to the general population,particularly among thalassemia *** Twitter is one of the most influential social media platforms for sharing opinions and discussing different topics like people’s health conditions and major public health *** individuals’sentiments in these tweets helps the research centers to formulate strategies to promote thalassemia screening to the *** effective Lexiconbased approach has been introduced in this study by highlighting a classifier called valence aware dictionary for sentiment reasoning(VADER).In this study applied twitter intelligence tool(TWINT),Natural Language Toolkit(NLTK),and VADER constitute the three main *** represents a gold-standard sentiment lexicon,which is basically tailored to attitudes that are communicated by using social *** contribution of this study is to introduce an effective Lexicon-based approach by highlighting a classifier calledVADERto analyze the sentiment of the general population,particularly among thalassemia carriers on the social media platform *** this study,the results showed that the proposed approach achieved 0.829,0.816,and 0.818 regarding precision,recall,together with f-score,*** tweets were crawled using the search keywords,“thalassemia screening,”thalassemia test,“and thalassemia diagnosis”.finally,results showed that India and Pakistan ranked the highest in mentions in tweets by the public’s conversations on thalassemia screening with 181 and 164 tweets,respectively.

Prognostic value of pre-treatment f-18-fDG PET-CT in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma undergoing radioembolization

AIM To evaluate the value of pre-treatment 18f-fDG PET/CT in patients with HCC following liver *** We identified 34 patients with HCC who underwent an fDG PET/CT scan prior to hepatic radioembolization at our institution between 2009 and 2013. Patients wereseen in clinic one month after radioembolization and then at 2-3 mo intervals. We assessed the influence of fDG tumor uptake on outcomes including local liver control(LLC), distant liver control(DLC), time to distant metastases(DM), progression free survival(PfS) and overall survival(OS).RESULTS The majority of patients were males(n = 25, 74%), and had Child Pugh Class A(n = 31, 91%), with a median age of 68 years(46-84 years). fDG-avid disease was found in 19(56%) patients with SUVmax ranging from 3 to 20. female patients were more likely to have an fDG-avid HCC(P = 0.02). Median follow up of patients following radioembolization was 12 months(1.2-62.8 mo). fDG-avid disease was associated with a decreased 1 year LLC, DLC, DM and PfS(P fDG avidity predicted for LLC, DLC, and PfS(all P fDGavidity was found to be associated with worse LLC, DLC, and PfS following radioembolization. Larger studies are needed to validate our initial findings to assess the role of f-18-fDG PET/CT scans as biomarker for patients with HCC following radioembolization.
