The aggregation of amyloid-beta peptide and tau protein dysregulation are implicated to play key roles in Alzheimer's disease pathogenesis and are considered the main pathological hallmarks of this devastating ***,these two proteins are produced and expressed within the normal human ***,under pathological conditions,abnormal expression,posttranslational modifications,conformational changes,and truncation can make these proteins prone to aggregation,triggering specific disease-related *** studies have indicated associations between aberrant behavior of amyloid-beta and tau proteins and various neurological diseases,such as Alzheimer's disease,Parkinson's disease,and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,as well as retinal neurodegenerative diseases like Glaucoma and age-related macular ***,these proteins have been linked to cardiovascular disease,cancer,traumatic brain injury,and diabetes,which are all leading causes of morbidity and *** this comprehensive review,we provide an overview of the connections between amyloid-beta and tau proteins and a spectrum of disorders.

AIM： To assess the proteome of normal versus tumor tissue in squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus （SCCE） in Iranian patients and compare our results with former reports by using proteomics. METhODS： Protein was extracted from normal and tumor tissues. Two dimensional electrophoresis was carried out and spots with differential expression were identified with mass spectrometry. RNA extraction and RT-PCR along with immunodetection were performed. RESULTS： Fourteen proteins were found whose expression levels differed in tumor compared to normal tissues. Mass spectrometric analysis resulted in the identification of β-tropomyosin （TMβ）, myosin light chain 2 （and its isoform）, myosin regulatory light chain 2, peroxyredoxin 2, annexin I and an unknown polypeptide as the down regulated polypeptides in tumor tissue. heat shock protein 70 （hSP70）, TPM4-ALK fusion oncoprotein 2, myosin light polypeptide 6, keratin I, Gh16431p and calreticulin were the up-regulated polypeptides found in tumor tissue. Several of these proteins, such as TMβ, hSP70, annexin Ⅰ, calreticulin, TPM4-ALK and isoforms of myosins, have been well recognized in tumorigenesis of esophageal or other types of cancers. CONCLUSION： Our study not only supports the involvement of some of the formerly reported proteins in SCCE but also introduces additional proteins found to be lost in SCCE, including TMβ.

New CCD photometric investigation of high amplitude δ Scuti star V2455 Cyg

New V-band CCD observations of variable star V2455 Cyg were performed during two nights in September 2017. According to all times of maximum light and new maxima, the O-C curve was *** period changes of V2455 Cyg were investigated and the rate of increasing period was obtained to be(1/P) d P/dt = 1.99 × 10^-7 yr-1. Frequency analysis indicated that V2455 Cyg pulsates with the radial p mode and the fundamental frequency is 10.61574 d-1. Physical parameters of V2455 Cyg at mean temperature were determined(e.g., R = 2.52 R⊙and M = 1.92 M⊙). The position of this star in the h-R diagram confirms that V2455 Cyg is a high amplitude δ Scuti star.

A series of novel s-triazolothiadiazoles 3a-h were prepared by condensation reaction of substituted amino triazoles 1a-b with N-phethaloyl-L-amino acids 2a-d in the presence of the phosphoroxy chloride （POC13） as an anhydrous reagent. The structure of all synthesized compounds was confirmed by IR, 1h NMR, arid 13C NMR spectroscopy.

holographic memory-based Bayesian optimization algorithm (hM-BOA) in dynamic environments

This paper presents a new evolutionary dynamic optimization algorithm, holographic memory-based Bayesian optimization algorithm (hM-BOA), whose objective is to address the weaknesses of sequential memory-based dynamic optimization approaches. To this end, holographic associative neural memory is applied to one of the recent successful memory-based evolutionary methods, DBN-MBOA (memory-based BOA with dynamic Bayesian networks). holographic memory is appropriate for encoding environmental changes since its stimulus and response data are represented by a vector of complex numbers such that the phase and the magnitude denote the information and its confidence level, respectively. In the learning process in hM-BOA, holographic memory is trained by probabilistic models at every environmental change. Its weight matrix contains abstract information obtained from previous changes and is used for constructing a new probabilistic model when the environment changes. The unique features of hM-BOA are: 1) the stored information can be generalized, and 2) a small amount of memory is required for storing the probabilistic models. Experimental results adduce grounds for its effectiveness especially in random environments.

Performance of Iranian Okra Ecotypes Under Various Accelerated Aging Conditions

Knowledge of seed quality and preservation of okra seeds is very limited, and the main purpose of this study was to simulate the condition of seed quality loss during storage and the physiological implications, which has led to seed vigor loss. A factorial experiment was conducted with the aim of studying the mechanism of longevity loss of the three endemic okra ecotypes of Iran(Ahwaz, Isfahan, Mashhad) in response to different accelerated aging durations(24, 48, 96, and 192 h). The accelerated aging condition was incubation of seeds to the temperature of 40 °C with 99% humidity. Germination of okra seeds was improved at 24 and 48 h compared to non-aged seeds, while at 192 h of accelerated aging, seed germination(49%) reduced to 50% of its value in 48 h(96.4%). Our results revealed that Iranian okra ecotypes were able to survive accelerated aging conditions up to 48 h. Antioxidant enzyme activity decreased with the increase in aging durations. Among investigated cultivars, seedling vigor of Mashhad ecotypes was the most sensitive to aging treatments. Our results revealed that the seed reservoir use efficiency value was 66%lower when exposed to 192 h of aging compared to the control. The cultivar Isfahan exhibited the minimum reduction of antioxidant activity,and, interestingly, this ecotype was the most aging tolerant.

Process design for gas condensate desulfurization and synthesis of nano-13X zeolite adsorbent: equilibrium and dynamic studies

This paper summarizes the results of a study of adsorption of sulfur compounds from a high-sulfur feed on improved spherical-shaped nano-AgX zeolite. For this purpose, the nano-AgX zeolite was initially synthesized and improved with silver compounds such as silver nitrate, and then it was utilized in the adsorption process. In order to investigate the equilibrium and dynamics of the adsorption process, adsorptive desulfurization of real feed(i.e., sour gas condensate from the South Pars gas field) was carried out in batch and continuous processes under several operating conditions; a temperature-dependent Langmuir isotherm model was used to fit the equilibrium data. The value of monolayer adsorption capacity(q_m) and adsorption enthalpy(Δh) were calculated to be 1.044 mmol/g and 16.8 kJ/mol, respectively. Furthermore, a detailed theoretical model was employed in order to model the breakthrough experiments. The results revealed that an increase in the feed flow rate and 1/T values will cause linear and exponential increase in the total mass transfer coefficient(ks). Isotherm and dynamic breakthrough models were found to be in agreement with the experimental data.

Inducible nitric oxide synthetase genotype and helicobacter pylori infection affect gastric cancer risk

AIM： To investigate the association of the inducible ni- tric oxide synthetase （iNOS） C150T polymorphism with helicobacter pylori （h. pylor/） infection and gastric can- cer （GC） risk in Iran. METhODS： In order to determine whether there was a correlation between iNOS genotype and GC in Iran, we conducted a case-control study using samples from 329 individuals. For each sample, the C150T ilVOS poly- morphism was genotyped by polymerase chain reaction （PCR） and restriction digestion. Patients were grouped by cancer presence, demographic and behavior charac- teristics, and/-/, pylori infection status. Statistical tests were conducted to determine whether any behavioral factors or a particular iNOS genotype was associated with GC in the study population. RESULTS： In this population, we found that smok- ing, hot beverage consumption, a familial history of GC and h. pylori infection status were significantly associated with GC development （P = 0.015, P 〈 0.001, P = 0.0034, and P 〈 0.015, respectively）. The distribution of the C150T ilVOS genotypes among the two study groups was not statistically significant alone, but was impacted by h. pylori infection status. When compared to the non-/-/, pylori infected group, cancer patients who had a heterozygous CT genotype and were also infected with h. pylori were 2.1 times more at risk of developing GC [odds ratio （OR） = 2.1, P = 0.03] while those with a homozygous TT genotype and infected with h. pylori were 5.0 times more at risk of developing GC （OR = 5.0, P = 0.029）. In contrast, this association was not seen in patients in the control ***： ACT or TT polymorphism at position 150 in the iNO$ gene significantly increases the risk of GC and may be a marker for GC susceptibility.

Calculation of Thermal Pressure Coefficient of Dense C15h32, C17h36, C18h38and C19h40Using pVTData

The thermal pressure coefficients in liquid n-Pentadecane (C15), n-heptadecane (C17), n-octadecane (C18) and n-nonadecane (C19) was measured using pVT data. The measurements were carried out at pressures up to 150 MPa in the temperature range from 293 to 383 K. The experimental results have been used to evaluate various thermophysical properties such as thermal pressure coefficients up to 150 MPa with the use of density and temperature data at various pressures. New parameters of the linear isotherm regularity, the so-called LIR equation of state, are used to calculate of thermal pressure coefficients of n-Pentadecane (C15), n-heptadecane (C17), n-octadecane (C18) and n-nonadecane (C19) dense fluids. In this paper, temperature dependency of linear isotherm regularity parameters in the form of a first order has been developed to second and third order and their temperature derivatives of new parameters are used to calculate thermal pressure coefficients. The resulting model predicts accurately thermal pressure coefficients from the lower density limit at the Boyle density at the from triple temperature up to about double the Boyle temperature. The upper density limit appears to be reached at 1.4 times the Boyle density. These problems have led us to try to establish a function for the accurate calculation of the thermal pressure coefficients based on the linear isotherm regularity theory for different fluids.
