The rapid population growth results in a crucial problem in the early detection of diseases inmedical *** all the cancers unveiled,breast cancer is considered the second most severe ***,an exponential rising in death cases incurred by breast cancer is expected due to the rapid population growth and the lack of resources required for performing medical *** recent advances in machine learning could help medical staff in diagnosing diseases as they offer effective,reliable,and rapid responses,which could help in decreasing the death *** this paper,we propose a new algorithm for feature selection based on a hybrid between powerful and recently emerged optimizers,namely,guided whale and dipper throated *** proposed algorithm is evaluated using four publicly available breast cancer *** evaluation results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach from the accuracy and speed *** prove the superiority of the proposed algorithm,a set of competing feature selection algorithms were incorporated into the conducted *** addition,a group of statistical analysis experiments was conducted to emphasize the superiority and stability of the proposed *** best-achieved breast cancer prediction average accuracy based on the proposed algorithm is 99.453%.This result is achieved in an average time of 3.6725 s,the best result among all the competing approaches utilized in the experiments.

Separation of rare earth elements from sulfate leach liquor by heterocyclic nitrogen compound

Separation of rare earth dements by solvent extraction has actually been widely used in various fields from analytical chemistry to hydrometallurgy. A representative ore sample obtained from Kadabora Batholiths-Eastern Desert of Egypt, containing the multiple oxides rare earth minerals： Samarskite, Fergusonite, Betafite, and Pyrochlore, was subjected to sulfuric acid leaching. Different sets of equilibrium loading experiments were carded out on a bench scale for the extraction of rare earths （cerium and yttrium） from the sulfate leach liquor using 8,9-dihydro[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]quinazolin-6（TH）-one {TQ} dissolved in methylene chloride. Stripping was carded out by 20% sodium hydroxide. A rare earth cake was produced by oxalic acid precipitation. Its purity reached 87.3%.

Comparison of sucrose intake and production of elimination spots among adult musca domestica, musca autumnalis, Phormia regina and Protophormia terraenovae

Objective: To compare the differences in intake and excretion between musca domestica and other three species from families muscidae and Calliphoridae which may help explaining the significance of house fly in the transmission of ***: The four adult species were supplied with two concentrations of sucrose via modified capillary feeder assay system. The two sucrose concentrations were applied to one adult male/each experiment and the elimination spots were counted. Using 0.25 mol/L sucrose + 0.25% bromophenol blue, one active non-starved male/cup was observed carefully for 1 h to record its behavior. As a growing medium used in bacterial transmission experiments, undiluted trypticase soy broth was used to feed 3-day-old females and males of musca domestica following two different diets upon emergence and the frequency of elimination spots was ***: The two musca species have half the weight of the two Phormia *** the volume of intake per hour, house fly took as much as the other species, all of which were larger. House fly produced twice, or more, the number of elimination spots/h than the other three species. Feeding the flies a sugar liquid diet resulted in producing more fecal spots than regurgitation spots. The male house flies produced less elimination spots/h when fed with trypticase soy broth than with the two sucrose ***: House flies eliminated more than the other examined fly species and most of these elimination events were defecation which implicates the fecal route for pathogen transmission by this important vector.

Distribution and ecological risk assessment of some heavy metals in coastal surface sediments along the Red Sea,Egypt

The ecological risk assessment for Al,Zn,Cu,Ni,V,Pb,Cd,and Hg in surface sediment collected from the Egyptian Red Sea coast was evaluated using the Geo-accumulation Index(Igeo).Sediment Enrichment Factor（SEF） and Potential Ecological Risk Index（PERI） *** predominant heavy metal,aluminum,showed high concentrations along both of Aqaba Gulf（4378.8 ± 2554.1 μg/g） and southern part of the Red Sea（2972.8 + 1527.5 μg/g）.while it recorded the lowest concentration in Suez Gulf（829.7 ± 398.2 μg/g）.The determined heavy metal concentrations had the order of Al > Zn >-Ni > V > Pb > Cu > Cd > *** statistical analyses showed some correlations among the heavy metals *** international sediment quality guidelines were used to estimate the quality of the collected ***,the recorded average heavy metals concentrations were lower than those of the permissible contents for sediment quality *** Geo-accumulation index calculations(Igeo) proved that the investigated region could be classified as an unpolluted *** Enrichment Factor(KSEF) study showed high values in Suez Gulf *** single pollution index analysis of heavy metals in the sediments（Ci_f） indicated that Al,Zn,V,and Pb were of natural origin,while Ni,Cd and Hg were seriously affected by human ***,amongst,all the determined heavy metals,Cd and Hg gave moderate ecological risk indicators.

Purpose The present work deals with the natural radioactivity levels of basement rocks from Gabel Abu el-Hassan in the North Eastern Desert of *** The activity concentrations of 226Ra,232Th and 40K in rock samples were measured using a gamma-ray spectrometry with an HPGe *** Enhanced Thematic mapper Plus(ETm+)data were processed and interpreted to create rock forming radioactive *** and conclusion The activity concentrations of 226Ra,232Th and 40K varied from 28.2±9.4 to 259.6±38.6 Bq/kg,37.9±9.9 to 297.4±54.6 Bq/kg and 487.0±73.4 to 5514.6±786.0 Bq/kg,*** radiological hazard indices(gamma index),the annual effective dose rate and excess life-time cancer risk were estimated to assess the radiological hazards due to the use of rock samples as building *** sensing data were also used to integrate between radioactive analysis and Landsat-7(ETm+)data processing to detect radioactive anomalies and to identify the uraniferous alteration zones in Abu el-Hassan area.

Epi- and endobiont faunal communities on an Egyptian mediterranean rocky shore: species composition and their competition for space

The exposed calcareous rocky area of the Abu Qir Headland,east of Alexandria,Egypt which range from coarse grains,through pebbles,cobbles,and boulders to rocky platforms,was signifi cantly colonized by sclerobionts(epibionts and endobionts).The epibiont species diversity was comparatively higher than that of *** communities included bryozoans(the anascan-grade cheilostome Bifl ustra savartii),serpulid(Hydroides elegans,Spirobranchus ***,Vermiliopsis striaticeps and Protula or Apomatus)and spirorbid(Spirorbis)wormtubes,and balanoid barnacles(Amphibalanus amphitrite,Balanus trigonus,and Perforatus perforatus).The cheilostome bryozoan colonies,which developed extensive sheets,proliferated on the study rocky shore either encrusting the bioeroded basement directly,or encrusting other epilithic taxa,particularly balanoid barnacles and serpulid *** displayed a remarkable marginal competitive interaction(overgrowth and stand-off)for space on the study rocky *** the other hand,endobionts were not well represented on the studied rocky shore *** was possible to identify three ichnotaxa:Gastrochaenolites,maeandropolydora,and *** fi ndings documented represent a signifi cant contribution to our knowledge of sclerobionts composition,sequence of their colonization and/or bioerosion,and their mutual relationships on the intertidal rocky shore of the Abu Qir Headland.

Co-encapsulation of probiotic bacteria,fish oil and pomegranate peel extract for enhanced white soft cheese

In this study,co-encapsulation technique was used to produce microcapsules utilized as a multi-functional delivery vehicle for valuable nutritional *** compounds including probiotic bacteria namely Bifidobacterium lactis BB12,fish oil and pomegranate peel extract(PPE)that is rich in polyphenols as revealed by HPLC *** with different formulae were produced and the encapsulation efficiency(EE)of probiotic bacteria and fish oil was *** suggest that the presence of fish oil and PPE enhanced the EE of probiotic bacteria and this positive effect increased with the increasing of the mentioned 2 ***,PPE protected the encapsulated probiotic bacteria from declining during the storage for 30 *** acted as an effective antioxidant and decreased the formation of both dienes and trienes and assisted in the preservation of the unsaturated moiety of fish oil compared to other microcapsules with no *** food application,the multi-functional microcapsules were incorporated into soft *** analysis of fish oil was carried out during cheese storage and showed similar results to those found with free *** addition,the presence of probiotic bacteria and/or PPE in microcapsules decreased the deterioration and delayed the oxidation of fish *** the other hand,probiotic survivability showed to be similar in different microcapsules incorporated into cheese.

Latent Space Representational Learning of Deep Features for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Diagnosis

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia(ALL)is a fatal malignancy that is featured by the abnormal increase of immature lymphocytes in blood or bone *** prognosis of ALL is indispensable for the effectual remediation of this *** screening of ALL is conducted through manual examination of stained blood smear microscopic images,a process which is time-consuming and prone to ***,many deep learning-based computer-aided diagnosis(CAD)systems have been established to automatically diagnose *** paper proposes a novel hybrid deep learning system for ALL diagnosis in blood smear *** introduced system integrates the proficiency of autoencoder networks in feature representational learning in latent space with the superior feature extraction capability of standard pretrained convolutional neural networks(CNNs)to identify the existence of ALL in blood *** augmented set of deep image features are formed from the features extracted by GoogleNet and Inception-v3 CNNs from a hybrid dataset of microscopic blood smear images.A sparse autoencoder network is designed to create an abstract set of significant latent features from the enlarged image feature *** latent features are used to perform image classification using Support Vector machine(SVm)*** obtained results show that the latent features improve the classification performance of the proposed ALL diagnosis system over the original image ***,the classification performance of the system with various sizes of the latent feature set is *** retrieved results reveal that the introduced ALL diagnosis system superiorly compete the state of the art.

Correlation between IL28B/TLR4 genetic variants and HCC development with/without DAAs treatment in chronic HCV patients

In Egypt,Sofosbuvir(SOF)in combination with Dataclasvir(DCV)is the broadly used DAAs with excellent therapeutic *** study is designed to explore the relation between IL28B/TLR4 genetic variants and each of the followings;HCC development post SOF/DCV treatment,progression to HCC in naı¨ve patients and SOF/DCV therapy outcome.A total of 493 blood samples were collected(controls(n = 70);HCV patients treated with SOF/DCV(n = 252)of whom 65 patients developed HCC,187 patients didn’t develop HCC(125 responders,62 relapsers);naı¨ve HCV patients(n = 171)had early(n = 48),late liver fibrosis(n = 21)and HCC(n = 102)).Both SNPs were genotyped using a Taqman 50 allelic discrimination *** IL28B rs12979860 SNP,the C allele was significantly correlating with the response rate more than T allele(OR 1.9,95%CI 1.29e2.9,p=0.004),while at TLR4 rs4986791 SNP,no association was found(OR 6.5,95%0.57e75.28,p = 0.09).Both SNPs couldn’t detect the probability for HCC emergence after *** naı¨ve patients,the protective alleles were detected in their lowest frequency in HCC patients(p = 0.1,for rs12979860 and,p = 0.001 for rs4986791).SOF/DCV combination improved SVR rates in HCV genotype 4a infected patients regardless of IL28B genotype,with the best rates in those lacking the T allele.

The frequency-dependent dielectric dispersion of ZnO-Na2O-Al2O3-B2O3(in mol%) glass prepared by the melt quenching technique is investigated in the temperature ranges from room temperature to 420 *** relaxation has been analyzed based on the behavior of electric modulus *** analysis of the real and imaginary parts of dielectric is performed assuming the ideal Debye behavior as confirmed by Cole-Cole *** activation energy associated with the dielectric relaxation determined from the electric modulus spectra was found to be 1.863 eV,which is close to that the activation energy for ***(1.871 eV),indicating the similar nature of relaxation and conductivity.
