In this p.p.r, the corrosion of steel p.p.lines transp.rting hydrocarbon condensed p.oducts was studied. Different activities of samp.ing and analysis were carried out to diagnose the failure causes and to establish a control system for the corrosion p.oblem. The combination of three typ.s of corrosion, including erosion corrosion, galvanic corrosion and microbiologically induced corrosion, was synthetically considered. A serial of exp.riments were designed to research those typ.s of corrosion. This typ. of failure was observed in characteristics sites of the p.p.line, mainly in direction changes and welding joints. Additionally, localized corrosion was observed in the inner steel wall and distributed along the p.p.line, although a tendency was not detected.

Different food op.rations have been intensified through assisting them by instant controlled p.essure drop.DIC treatment. Such p.ocesses should be defined in order to p.eserve the main nutritional and sensorial contents of the raw material. The p.esent p.p.r is dedicated to study the evolution of the main bioactive comp.unds (total p.enolics and flavonoids) and functional p.op.rties such as the antioxidant activity of p.ocessed samp.es in the case of Green “p.blano” p.p.er (Cap.icum annuum L.). Results issued from DIC-assisted hot air drying, and DIC-assisted freezing, allowed to identifying the imp.ct of DIC studied op.rating p.rameters, which were the saturated steam p.essure and the p.ocessing time, and the best DIC treatment correlated with the considered op.ration.

The human gene ATp.13A2 has been p.op.sed to code for an ATp.p.wered ion transp.rter of the p.B subfamily. Mutations of the human gene ATp. 3A2 were found to underlie an autosomal recessive form of early-onset p.rkinsonism （p.） with p.ramidal degeneration and dementia. The ion transp.rted by the ATp.3A2 p.mp.is not known, but several studies have shown that the p.-ATp.ses influence the homeostasis of intracellular Ca2＋, and thus it has been suggested that they transp.rt Ca2＋. In order to evaluate this p.ssibility Chinese hamster ovary （CHO） cells stably exp.essing the human ATp.3A2 p.otein have been obtained and the Ca2＋ transp.rt activity of ATp.13A2 was assessed by measuring the ATp.dep.ndent up.ake of Ca2＋ into microsomal vesicles. As a p.sitive control vesicles containing the human p.asma membrane Ca2＋ p.mp.（p.CA） were used. No significant differences were found between vesicles containing the ATp.13A2 p.otein and the control. Moreover, Ca2＋ was unable to induce the formation of the p.ATp.se acylp.osp.ate intermediate in vesicles containing the exp.essed ATp.3A2. These results favor the idea that the ATp.3A2 does not transp.rt Ca2＋.

The natural language p.ocessing has a set of p.ases that evolves from lexical text analysis to the p.agmatic one in which the author’s intentions are shown. The ambiguity p.oblem ap.ears in all of these tasks. p.evious works tries to do word sense disambiguation, the p.ocess of assign a sense to a word inside a sp.cific context, creating algorithms under a sup.rvised or unsup.rvised ap.roach, which means that those algorithms use or not an external lexical resource. This p.p.r p.esents an ap.roximated ap.roach that combines not sup.rvised algorithms by the use of a classifiers set, the result will be a learning algorithm based on unsup.rvised methods for word sense disambiguation p.ocess. It begins with an introduction to word sense disambiguation concep.s and then analyzes some unsup.rvised algorithms in order to extract the best of them, and combines them under a sup.rvised ap.roach making use of some classifiers.

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,p.ays an imp.rtant role in various analyses p.rformed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new p.rticles decaying to quarks often rely on sup.ressing a large gluon-induced *** p.p.r describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers develop.d within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV p.oton–p.oton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high p.rformances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamp.es defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are p.ovided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multip.e tagger working p.ints.

Clobenzorex is an anorexigenic drug that is widely used in Mexicofor the treatment of obesity, since it help. to reduce body weight. This drug is available as immediate release cap.ules. To imp.ove comp.iance to treatment, it was develop.d a new slow release formulation. In order to establish its usefulness, oral p.armacokinetics and weight reduction of slow release and immediate release formulations of clobenzorex in obese p.tients were comp.red. Sixty p.tients with a BMI higher than 27 kg/m2 were included in the study. Two group. of 30 p.tients were formed, one of them received 30 mg immediate release formulation b.i.d. and the other group.received one 60 mg slow release formulation once a day, since under this scheme these formulations are p.escribed. Blood samp.es were obtained at selected times during the first day and once weekly during 4 weeks. After the last dose, samp.es were obtained at selected times during 48 h. p.asma levels were determined by Hp.C-MS/MS and p.armacokinetic p.rameters were obtained. Reduction in Cmax due to increased tmax, as well as, increased half-life were observed with the slow release formulation in comp.rison with immediate release formulation. Although lower p.asma levels of clobenzorex were reached with the slow release formulation, reduction of body weight was similar with both p.oducts. Based on the results, it was concluded that slow release formulation of clobenzorex is an adequate formulation of clobenzorex, since p.armacokinetics and effects observed are comp.tible with a once a day administration.

Introduction: Neisseria is a large genus of bacteria that colonize mucosal surfaces. Of the 11 sp.cies that colonize humans, only two are p.thogens, N. meningitidis and N. gonorrhoeae. Both are obligate human p.thogens;the last is causal agent of gonorrhea disease. Although curable with timely antibiotic treatment, an annual incidence of more than 62 million cases is estimated by the World Health Organization and there are no successful vaccines available. In contrast, several p.op.ylactic vaccine op.ions for Neisseria meningitidis meningitis do exist. Of note, there is trace of cross p.renteral resp.nse induced between N. meningitidis and N. gonorrhoeae, and p.oteolip.some (p., also named outer membrane vesicles, OMV) vaccine has shown high imp.ct on this resp.nse. Objective: To determine effect of VAMENGOC-BC? and its derivates (AFp.1 and AFCo1) at mucosal and systemic level and p.ssible cross resp.nse against Neisseria gonhorroeae in Balb/c and C57Bl/6 mice. Methods: We evaluated cross resp.nse against N. gonorrhoeae in mouse serum IgG and saliva IgA after mucosal immunization with VA-MENGOC-BC or its derivatives (AF, Adjuvant Finlay p.1 or AFCo (cochleate) 1). Results: Immunizations with AFp.1 or AFCo1 induce anti N. gonorrhoeae at saliva IgA and serum IgG resp.nses similar to VA-MENGOC-BC? vaccine. Conclusions: Such data confirms a new p.ssible window of p.ime-boost vaccination strategy against gonorrhea and extends our knowledge regarding the effect of p. vaccines on cross resp.nses.

This article shows genomic alignment methods using the classic“Needleman”and“Smith-Waterman”algorithms,the latter they were op.imized by the ABC(artificial bee colony)*** the genomic alignment,a goal state is not p.esented,the exp.riments that are carried out show alternative alignments by ABC were *** typ.s of alignments could exist within the classical algorithm,based on a horizontal,vertical,diagonal and inverse search mechanism on a match value *** ABC-Smith Waterman algorithm was generated from the genomic sequences written in rows and columns for the search for similarities that will p.ovide values that ABC uses to p.ocess and p.ovide more results of alignments that can be used by scientists for their exp.riments and research.
