Tuberculous otitis media is a rare disease,hence not often considered in the differential diagnosis of *** results in late diagnosis with resulting complications such as irreversible hearing loss.A case report with review of the literature is presented,emphasizing that tuberculosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of otorrhea not responding to commonly prescribed *** also emphasize the importance of awareness creation in the management of such a disease,involving family members to oversee treatment and also research on ways of shortening duration of treatment to avoid default in treatment.

Labeo victorianus(Boulenger,1901)is one of the endemic fishes in Lake Victoria Basin(LVB)but is now threatened by multiple stressors caused by human *** investigated spatial and temporal variability in food composition and condition of *** in influent rivers of Lake Victoria,*** was done during the dry and wet seasons by *** composition analysis showed that *** is a benthophagus and omnivorous species whose diet is dominated by detritus,periphyton and *** were differences in food composition among rivers,with significant river X season interactions(PERMANOVA F=11.6,df=4,p=0.001),suggesting that the diet depended on prevailing environmental *** turbid rivers,the diet was dominated by detritus while in less turbid rivers it was dominated by insects and *** and mud also formed a significant part of the diet,which was an indication of a limited occurrence of preferable food *** were ontogenetic shifts in food composition(PERMANOVA F=4.6,df=3,p=0.001),but also with a spatial interaction(PERMANOVA F=5.6,df=7,p=0.001),further indicating the role of environmental conditions in determining the diet for different size ***,the fish condition did not differ among *** study shows that turbidity and organic matter and nutrient loading determine the diet of *** in LVB rivers,and provides further justification for the maintenance of water quality as a conservation measure for threatened species.

A simple method for the fabrication of ultrathin films containing low molecular weight dye material is introduced(post-adsorption technique). The chromophore used is 4-nitro-4'-decyloxy azobenzene quaternary ammonium salt (azo-10Q).In classical layer-by-layer (LBL) procedures, where the substrate is dipped alternately into the chromophore solution and thecomplementary polyelectrolyte, the chromophore tends to desorb from the film during subsequent immersion in thepolyanion solution, and there is little or no indication of multilayer growth. The extent of desorption depends somewhat onthe selection of polyelectrolyte, the ionic strength and the pH of solution. An alternative approach is to first prepareconventional LBL films from a pair of oppositely charged polyelectrolytes, and then to soak this film into the chromophoresolution, where adsorption by penetration into the LBL film may take place. In preliminary results, a linear dependence ofUV absorbance on layer number of LBL film thus prepared was found, demonstrating the apparent effectiveness of the post-adsorption technique for the preparation of azo-10Q-containing ultrathin films.

A firm’s profitability is critical to its competitiveness and sustainability. This research looked at the elements that influence airline profitability in Nigeria. From 2005 to 2019, two airlines were picked, and their data were retrieved from Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). From estimated quarterly panel data using E-views 8 and SPSS 22, the overall findings of the regression study demonstrate that with ROA used as a proxy for profitability, the R-square is 83.6 per cent and 89.4 per cent, respectively for Aero contractors and Medview airline, representing 83.6 per cent and 89.4 per cent of the changes in profitability of the Aero contractors and Medview in the sample, respectively, could be explained by changes in the study’s independent variables, namely growth, liquidity, leverage, lease, tangibility, fuel cost and personnel cost. Besides the total of the explanatory variables, growth, leverage and tangibility are statically significant at a 5% level of significant Aero Contractors. Growth, leverage, leasing cost, fuel cost, and staff cost, on the other hand, are statistically significant at the 5% level of significance for Medview airlines. Profiteering, expansion, leverage, and tangibility are the primary activities of any airline firm. Lease cost, fuel cost, and staff cost show a statistically significant positive link with the profitability metric ROA. As a result, stakeholders of Nigerian airlines should prioritize profitability over other criteria in this study. Airline executives should do a comprehensive analysis of all potential elements impacting their company’s profitability in the literature, including aspects other than economic variables. According to the findings of this study, political issues account for a greater proportion of the reasons why airlines fail in Nigeria.

Empirical Study of Parameters of Airlines Sustainability in Nigerian Domestic Network

Sustainability was investigated in the ability to reliably anticipate airline market share, which is critical for effective business strategy. As a result, a model was created to address the issue of airline market share across all Nigerian airport routes. The model took into account the explanatory variables average fares paid by various airlines passengers, number of competitors at each route, frequency of flight, and the total number of enplaned passengers. The model illustrated how it may be used to determine an airline’s sustainability. It was observed that all of the parameters in the model were statistically significant and exhibited the predicted signs. As a result, the market share of Nigerian airlines can assess the sustainability of Nigerian airlines. As a result, it is proposed that the federal government and aviation regulatory bodies provide a level playing field to all commercial airline operators, without any kind of protectionism. Airlines’ services should be completely deregulated, and the forces of perfect market competition should drive the airline’s overall health. The government should provide a fair and supportive climate for airline operators as soon as possible. The ease of doing airline business must be implemented honestly and competitively. The degree of competition has a detrimental impact on the airline’s market share, especially if the airline operates in a regulated market. As a result, perfect competition for the airline should be promoted.

Given that challenges on the issue of socioeconomic development faced by countries in sub-Saharan Africa(SSA)have been identified as critical to strengthening the inherent link between governance and socioeconomic conditions,this study examines the interconnections between governance and socioeconomic conditions in *** a focus on 25 countries in SSA between 2005 and 2019,we conduct the analysis based on the Panel-Corrected Standard Error and System Generalized Method of Moments estimations and panel causality *** results show that SSA does not seem to have the means of effective governance to spur improved socioeconomic ***,the pervasiveness of institutional problems in many countries of SSA has been responsible for the poor socioeconomic conditions in the ***,governance quality and socioeconomic conditions are found to influence each *** improvement in socioeconomic conditions could result in better governance *** the other hand,governance quality is viewed as a vital ingredient in achieving needed socioeconomic development ***,it is suggested that there is a need for countries in SSA to streamline governing systems toward engendering improved *** introduction and implementation of transformative policies through effective governance are also necessary for ensuring critical structural changes and increasing social service ***,there should be a proactive identification of ineffective policies and procedures by policymakers to enhance meaningful impacts in the region.

This contribution shows the strong influence of using chloroform instead of THF on the characteristics of thin films of supramolecular block copolymers of poly(styrene-b-4-vinyl pyridine) dip-coated in the so-called "capillarity" regime from solutions containing 1-naphthol or 1-naphthoic *** small molecule content in the dip-coated films was investigated by infrared spectroscopy and the film morphology by atomic force *** was found that the small molecule content in the films is constant with dip-coating rate in the range investigated,but it is higher for 1-naphthoic acid than for *** main morphology observed was in the form of "islands" and "holes",which is typical of flat-on *** findings are related to hydrogen-bonding between the small molecule and pyridine being conserved in chloroform and to the good solubility of both blocks in this solvent,with differences between the two small molecules related to their differing H-bond *** findings contrast strongly with what was observed previously using THF as a solvent,for which the SM content increases with dip-coating rate and the morphologies are mainly spherical and cylindrical in the same parameter range.
