Microwave Catalytic Depolymerization of Polyethylene Terephthalate Plastic to the Monomers

Plastic waste management has emerged as a critical environmental issue due to the exponential increase in plastic consumption *** terephthalate(PET)is extensively used in the production of water bottles,which constitutes a significant fraction of the plastic *** recycling is a challenging task due to the lack of efficient and cost-effective depolymerization *** this study,we developed a microwave(MW)catalytic depolymerization method for PET recycling using modified zinc oxide loaded with manganese oxide as a *** modified Mn_(3)O_(4)/ZnO catalyst presents high efficiency in depolymerizing PET into its monomers with only 0.4 wt% ratio of the catalyst to PET at 175℃ for 5 min,resulting in 100% conversion of PET and 88% selectivity toward bis-hydroxyethyl terephthalate *** is believed that Mn_(3)O_(4)provides additional Lewis acid sites,promoting the dissociation of glycol from PET,and the MW irradiation plays a crucial role in rapidly heating the ethylene glycol and the catalyst,thereby accelerating the PET depolymerization *** addition,the heterogeneous nature of the catalyst facilitates its easy separation from the reaction mixture for reuse,simplifying the catalyst recovery process and enabling costeffective and sustainable PET ***,this study provides an innovative and sustainable solution for PET recycling,contributing toward the circular economy and mitigating the environmental impact of plastic waste.

Archean-Ediacaran evolution of the Campos Gerais Domain-A reworked margin of the são Francisco paleocontinent(sE Brazil):Constraints from metamafic-ultramafic rocks

The Campos Gerais Domain(CGD)in southeastern Brazil is an approximately 180 km×35 km area of Archean–Proterozoic rocks located southwest of the são Francisco Craton(sFC).The Archean–Paleopro terozoic evolution of the CGD—alongside its potential correlation with the sFC or other cratonic blocks in the region-is currently *** present the results of systematic petrography,bulkrock geochemistry,mineral chemistry and geochronology for a suite of scarcely studied mafic–ultramafic rocks from the *** also provide a compilation of previously reported bulk-rock geochemical and spinel group mineral chemical data for mafic–ultramafic rocks throughout the CGD,and geochronological information for various lithotypes in the *** CGD records a protracted Mesoarchean to statherian(3.1–1.7 Ga)crustal evolution,which we interpret to share a common history with the southern sFC and their related reworked segments,suggesting that it is a westward extension of this cratonic *** metavolcano-sedimentary rocks of the Fortaleza de Minas and Alpinópolis segments represent a Mesoarchean greenstone belt that is stratigraphically and chemically comparable to Archean greenstone belts worldwide,and that is broadly coeval with a local suite of tonalite-trondhjemite-grano diorite(TTG)gneisses and migmatites.U-Pb sHRIMP zircon data from a subalkaline metagabbro yielded a concordia age of ca.2.96 Ga,revealing a previously unrecognized phase of Archean magmatism in the CGD that can be chrono-correlated with metakomatiite and TTG generation elsewhere in the são Francisco *** data contradict a hypothesis whereby the metavolcano-sedimentary rocks of the Jacuí-Bom Jesus da Penha and Petúnia segments represent an ophiolite,as previously suggested,instead presenting features that point to formation in association with a continental *** with a U-Pb(sHRIMP)crystallization age of ca.2.13 Ga recorded by zircon grains from a metaultramafic rock,these data h

Background:Grounded in intersectionality theory,this study examined the 6-year prevalence trend and correlates in meeting Canada’s 24-Hour Movement Guidelines(Guidelines hereafter)in a nationally representative adolescent samples of south Korea(officially the Republic of Korea).Methods:self-reported,annually repeated cross-sectional data collected between 2013 and 2018 were used(n=372,433,12-17 years old,47.9%females).Adolescents were categorized as meeting or not meeting different sets of physical activity,screen time(sT),and sleep recommendations within the Guidelines,separately for weekdays and weekend *** correlates included sex and social class(i.e.,family economic status,parental education level,and academic performance).Multiple logistic regression analyses were ***:Overall,the proportion of adolescents meeting physical activity,sT,and sleep recommendations were 5.3%,60.3%,and 10.2%on weekdays and 5.3%,28.2%,and 46.4%on weekend days,*** 2013 and 2018,no substantial changes were observed for meeting the physical activity or sleep recommendation,while meeting the sT recommendation was markedly lower in *** proportion of meeting all 3 recommendations were 0.5%for weekdays and 0.8%for weekend ***,compared to female adolescents,male adolescents were consistently associated with more favorable patterns of meeting different sets of recommendations,regardless of social *** females only,social class appeared to be not important or even detrimental in meeting different sets of *** male,compounded with social class,was associated with meeting the sT ***:Less than 1%of Korean adolescents met the overall ***-based analysis and intervention may be important in promoting healthy active lifestyles among south Korean adolescents.

由于全球新冠疫情的暴发,各国经济和金融市场受到了严重的冲击,而中国有色金属期货市场也不例外.因此,对于新冠疫情如何影响中国有色金属期货市场的研究,在我国期货市场的发展进程中具有重要的理论和实践意义.本文采用了MF-DFA和多重分形谱分析方法,通过对沪铜、沪铝、沪锌、沪铅四种有色金属期货价格数据进行分析,探讨了新冠疫情对这些市场效率的影响,并进一步分析了市场风险的变化情况.实证结果显示,除了沪铜期货外,沪铝、沪锌、沪铅三种有色金属期货受到新冠疫情冲击后,市场效率下降、市场风险加大.具体而言,沪铝期货市场效率下降最为明显,而沪铅期货价格波动最为剧烈,市场风险增加最多.此外,本文对新冠疫情前后原始时间序列进行重排和替代处理后发现,在疫情前,时间序列的长程相关性对四种金属期货市场低效性的贡献程度更大;而在疫情之后,时间序列的厚尾分布对沪铜期货市场出现低效性的作用程度更大.而对其他三种有色金属期货来说,时间序列的长程相关性依然是其造成市场低效性更加重要的原因.以上结论阐述了较大冲击因素对市场造成的影响特征,有助于我国有色金属期货市场的成熟稳定发展.

Predicting individuals’vulnerability to social engineering in social networks

The popularity of social networking sites has attracted billions of users to engage and share their information on these *** vast amount of circulating data and information expose these networks to several security *** engineering is one of the most common types of threat that may face social network *** and increasing users’awareness of such threats is essential for maintaining continuous and safe use of social networking *** the most vulnerable users in order to target them for these training programs is desirable for increasing the effectiveness of such *** studies have investigated the effect of individuals’characteristics on predicting their vulnerability to social engineering in the context of social *** address this gap,the present study developed a novel model to predict user vulnerability based on several perspectives of user *** proposed model includes interactions between different social network-oriented factors such as level of involvement in the network,motivation to use the network,and competence in dealing with threats on the *** results of this research indicate that most of the considered user characteristics are factors that influence user vulnerability either directly or ***,the present study provides evidence that individuals’characteristics can identify vulnerable users so that these risks can be considered when designing training and awareness programs.

An AuNPs/Mesoporous NiO/Nickel Foam Nanocomposite as a Miniaturized Electrode for Heavy Metal Detection in Groundwater

Heavy metals,notably Pb2+and Cu^(2+),are some of the most persistent contaminants found in *** monitoring of these metals,which relies on efficient,sensitive,cost-effective,and reliable methods,is a *** present a nanocomposite-based miniaturized electrode for the concurrent measurement of Pb2+and Cu^(2+)by exploiting the electroanalytical technique of square wave *** also propose a facile in situ hydrothermal calcination method to directly grow binder-free mesoporous Ni O on a three-dimensional nickel foam,which is then electrochemically seeded with gold nanoparticles(Au NPs).The meticulous design of a low-barrier Ohmic contact between mesoporous Ni O and Au NPs facilitates target-mediated nanochannel-confined electron transfer within mesoporous Ni *** a result,the heavy metals Pb2+(0.020 mg.L^(-1)detection limit;2.0–16.0 mg.L^(-1)detection range)and Cu^(2+)(0.013 mg.L^(-1)detection limit;0.4–12.8 mg.L^(-1)detection range)can be detected simultaneously with high ***,other heavy metal ions and common interfering ions found in groundwater showed negligible impacts on the electrode’s performance,and the recovery rate of groundwater samples varied between 96.3%±2.1%and 109.4%±0.6%.The compactness,flexible shape,low power consumption,and ability to remotely operate our electrode pave the way for onsite detection of heavy metals in groundwater,thereby demonstrating the potential to revolutionize the field of environmental monitoring.

Dos detections based on association rules and frequent itemsets

To detect the Dos in networks by applying association rules mining techniques, we propose that association rules and frequent itemsets can be employed to find Dos pattern in packet streams which describe traffic and user behaviors. The method extracts information from the log analysis of submitted packets using the algorithm which depends on the definition of the intrusion. Large itemsets were extracted to represent the super facts to build the association analysis for the intrusion. Network data files were analysed for experiments. The analysis and experimental results are encouraging with better performance as packet frequency number increases.

Friction surfacing of AIsI 316 over mild steel: A characteriation study

An attempt has been made with overlaying of stain-less steel on mild steel by the technique of friction surfacing. This investigation elaborates the excellence acquired by different combination of the process parameters used in friction surfacing specifically traverse speed of the cross slide, speed of rotation of the spindle and the uniaxial compressive load. Excellent overlaying has been obtained amongst the chosen materials. To which, the coating can be done with various set of process parameters. It has been observed that the bond strength of the coating was found to be at a maximum of 502 MPa by ram tensile *** upon this results the surface methodology was characterized with scanning electron *** authenticating the results, the coated specimen was subjected to salt spray test. The bonding microstructure was characterized using optical microscopy and X-ray diffraction. Corrosion resistance of surfaced coatings was found to be more inferior to that of mechtrode material and greater with the substrate.
