Pancreatic cysts include a variety of benign, premalignant, and malignant lesions. Endometrial cysts in the pancreas are exceedingly rare lesions that are difficult to diagnose pre-operatively. This report describes the findings in a 43-year-old patient with a recent episode of acute pancreatitis who presented with a large cyst in the tail of the pancreas. Imaging demonstrated a loculated pancreatic cyst, and cyst fluid aspiration revealed an elevated amylase and carcinoembryonic antigen. The patient experienced an interval worsening of abdominal pain, fatigue, diarrhea, and a 15-pound weight loss 3 mo after the initial episode of pancreatitis. With concern for a possible pre-malignant lesion, the patient underwent a laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy with splenectomy, which revealed a 16cm×12cm×4cm lesion. Final histopathology was consistent with an intra-pancreatic endometrial cyst. Here we discuss the overlapping imaging and laboratory features of pancreatic endometrial cysts and mucinous cystic neoplasms of the pancreas.

Small bowel obstructions （SBOs） are primarily caused by adhesions, hernias, neoplasms, or inflammatory strictures. Intraluminal strictures are an uncommon cause of SBO. This report describes our findings in a unique case of sequential, stenotic intraluminal strictures of the small intestine, discusses the differential diagnosis of intraluminal intestinal strictures, and reviews the literature regarding intraluminal pathology.

Organisms often live in unpredictable environments and have to adopt life history strategies that optimize their fitness under these *** to bet-hedging theory,individuals can reduce variation in fitness outcomes by investing in different strategies at the same *** arthropods,facultative summer diapause enables survival during dry and hot periods of the year,and can be triggered by a decrease in resource abundance. However,the effect of resource depletion on diapause induction has never been disentangled from the effect of the perception of the presence of *** two solitary parasitoid species of cereal aphids as a model system,Aphidius avenae (Haliday)and Aphidius rhopalosiphi (De Stefani-Perez)(Hymenoptera:Braconidae),we tested whether (i)low absolute host density and/or (ii)high levels of parasitoid females'competition lead to maternal-induced summer diapause in parasitoid *** summer-like climatic conditions,emerging parasitoid females were (i)reared alone and exposed to different host densities (from 5 to 130 aphids),or (ii)reared together with competing females (from 2 to 20 females)and then exposed individually to 50 *** both parasitoid species, low aphid densities did not induce summer ***,the incidence of summer diapause increased up to a maximum of 11% with increasing levels of competition expe rienced by female *** than 60% of the females produced both diapausing and nondiapausing offspring after being kept at the two highest competition densities. 目的建立玫瑰花HPLC指纹图谱,为其质量评价提供参考。方法采用HPLC,色谱柱为COSMOSIL 5C18-MS-Ⅱ(4.6 mm×250 mm,5μm),以2.5%乙腈+0.1%甲酸+水(A)-乙腈+0.1%甲酸(B)为流动相,梯度洗脱,柱温40℃,流速0.5 mL/min,检测波长350 nm。采用《中药色谱指纹图谱相似度评价系统》(2012版)对13批样品进行相似度评价,通过液相色谱-质谱(LC-MS)技术进行定性分析,并结合聚类分析、主成分分析和正交偏最小二乘-判别分析对玫瑰花进行整体质量评价。结果建立了玫瑰花HPLC指纹图谱共有模式,13批样品相似度较好,初步鉴定指认其中9个共有峰;化学模式识别将13批样品聚为3类。结论本研究建立的玫瑰花指纹图谱结合化学模式识别方法灵敏度高、专属性强,可为制定玫瑰花的质量评价标准提供依据。

Numerical algorithms, modern programming techniques, and parallel computing are often taught serially across different courses and different textbooks. This study investigated the removal of hydrophobic trichloroethylene（TCE） in the presence of methanol（co-metabolite） in a biotrickling filter,which was seeded with fungi at pH *** was chosen as the biomass control *** systems,Biofilter I（methanol：TCE 70：30） and Biofilter ii（methanol：TCE 80：20） were run in parallel,each with varying composition *** TCE loading rates for both biofilters ranged from 3.22 to 12.88 g/m^3/*** on the ratio,methanol concentrations varied from 4.08 to 27.95 g/m^3/*** performance of the systems was evaluated and compared by calculating removal kinetics,carbon mass balance,efficiencies and elimination *** was observed to enhance TCE removal during the initial loading ***,methanol later inhibited TCE degradation above 6.44 g TCE/m^3/hr（Biofilter I） and 3.22 g TCE/m^3/hr（Biofilter ii）.Conversely,TCE did not impede methanol removal because over 95% methanol elimination was consistently ***,Biofilter I was able to outperform Biofilter ii due to its greater resistance towards methanol competition.
