Over the years,zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)have attracted attention as a promising next-generation energy storage technology because of their excellent safety,long cycling performance,eco-friendliness,and high-power ***,issues,such as the corrosion and dissolution of the Zn anode,limited wet-tability,and lack of sufficient nucleation sites for Zn plating,have limited their practical *** introduction of a protective layer comprising of tellurium(Te)nanobelts onto the surface of Zn anode has emerged as a promising approach to overcome these limitations and improve the electrochemical behav-ior by enhancing the safety and wettability of ZIBs,as well as providing numerous nucleation sites for Zn *** the presence of a Te-based protective layer,the energy power density of the surface-engineered Zn anode improved significantly(ranging from 310 to 144 W h kg^(-1),over a power density range of 270 to 1,800 W kg^(-1)),and the lifespan capability was *** results demonstrate that the proposed strategy of employing Te nanobelts as a protective layer holds great promise for enhancing the energy storage performance of zIBs,making them even more attractive as a viable energy storage solution forthefuture.

Does intraoperative frozen section really predict significant positive surgical margins after robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy?A retrospective study

Direct messenger ribonucleic acid(mRNA)delivery to target cells or tissues has revolutionized the field of ***,the applicability of regenerative medicine is limited by the technical difficulties of various mRNA-loaded ***,we report a new conductive hybrid film that could guide osteogenic differentiation of human adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells(hADMSCs)via electrically controlled mRNA *** find optimal electrical conductivity and mRNAloading capacity,the polypyrrole-graphene oxide(PPy-GO)hybrid film was electropolymerized on indium tin oxide *** found that the fluorescein sodium salt,a molecule partially mimicking the physical and chemical properties of mRNAs,can be effectively absorbed and released by electrical stimulation(ES).The hADMSCs cultivated on the PPy-GO hybrid film loaded with pre-osteogenic mRNAs showed the highest osteogenic differentiation under electrical *** platform can load various types of RNAs thus highly promising as a new nucleic acid delivery tool for the development of stem cell-based therapeutics.

A case of hypereosinophilic syndrome presenting with intractable gastric ulcers

We report a rare case of hypereosinophilic syndrome （hES） presenting with intractable gastric ulcers. A 71-year-old man was admitted with epigastric pain. Initial endoscopic findings revealed multiple, active gastric ulcers in the gastric antrum. he underwent helicobacterpylori （hpylon） eradication therapy followed by proton pump inhibitor （PPI） therapy. however, follow- up endoscopy at 4, 6, 10 and 14 mo revealed persistent multiple gastric ulcers without significant improvement. The proportion of his eosinophil count increased to 43% （total count： 7903/mm3）. Abdominal-pelvic and chest computed tomography scans showed multiple small nodules in the liver and both lungs. The endoscopic biopsy specimen taken from the gastric antrum revealed prominent eosinophilic infiltration, and the liver biopsy specimen also showed eosinophilic infiltration in the portal tract and sinusoid. A bone marrow biopsy disclosed eosinophilic hyperplasia as well as increased cellularity of 70%. The patient was finally diagnosed with hES involving the stomach, liver, lung, and bone marrow. When gastric ulcers do not improve despite h pylon eradication and prolonged PPI therapy, infiltrative gastric disorders such as hES should be considered.
