High-temperature energy storage performance of dielectric capacitors is cru-cial for the next generation of power electronic ***,conduction losses rise sharply at elevated temperature,limiting the application of energy storage ***,the mica films magnetron sputtered by different insulating layers are specifically investigated,which exhibit the excellent high-temperature energy storage *** experimental results revealed that the PbZrO3/Al2O3/PbZrO3(PZO/AO/PZO)interface insulating layers can effec-tively reduce the high-temperature leakage current and conduction loss of the composite ***,the ultrahigh energy storage density(Wrec)and charge‒discharge efficiency(η)can be achieved simultaneously in the flexi-ble mica-based composite ***,PZO/AO/PZO/mica/PZO/AO/PZO(PAPMPAP)films possess excellent Wrec of 27.5 J/cm3 andηof 87.8%at 200◦C,which are significantly better than currently reported high-temperature capaci-tive energy storage dielectric *** with outstanding power density and electrical cycling stability,the flexible films in this work have great appli-cation potential in high-temperature energy storage ***,the magnetron sputtering technology can deposit large-area nanoscale insulating layers on the surface of capacitor films,which can provide technical support for the industrial production of capacitors.

Distinct neutrophil populations arise during certain pathological *** generation of dysfunctional neutrophils during sepsis and their contribution to septicemia-related systemic immune suppression remain *** this study,using an experimental sepsis model that features immunosuppression,we identified a novel population of pathogenic CD200R^(high) neutrophils that are generated during the initial stages of sepsis and contribute to systemic immune suppression by enhancing regulatory T(T_(reg))*** to their CD200R^(low)counterparts,sepsis-generated CD200Rhigh neutrophils exhibit impaired autophagy and dysfunction,with reduced chemotactic migration,superoxide anion production,and TNF-α*** soluble CD200 blocks autophagy and neutrophil maturation in the bone marrow during experimental sepsis,and recombinant CD200 treatment in vitro can induce neutrophil dysfunction similar to that observed in CD200R^(high) *** administration of anα-CD200R antibody effectively reversed neutrophil dysfunction by enhancing autophagy and protecting against a secondary infection challenge,leading to increased *** analysis revealed that CD200R^(high) neutrophils expressed high levels of Igf1,which elicits the generation of Treg cells,while the administration of anα-CD200R antibody inhibited Treg cell generation in a secondary infection *** together,our findings revealed a novel CD200R^(high) neutrophil population that mediates the pathogenesis of sepsis-induced systemic immunosuppression by generating Treg cells.

Over the years,zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)have attracted attention as a promising next-generation energy storage technology because of their excellent safety,long cycling performance,eco-friendliness,and high-power ***,issues,such as the corrosion and dissolution of the Zn anode,limited wet-tability,and lack of sufficient nucleation sites for Zn plating,have limited their practical *** introduction of a protective layer comprising of tellurium(Te)nanobelts onto the surface of Zn anode has emerged as a promising approach to overcome these limitations and improve the electrochemical behav-ior by enhancing the safety and wettability of ZIBs,as well as providing numerous nucleation sites for Zn *** the presence of a Te-based protective layer,the energy power density of the surface-engineered Zn anode improved significantly(ranging from 310 to 144 W h kg^(-1),over a power density range of 270 to 1,800 W kg^(-1)),and the lifespan capability was *** results demonstrate that the proposed strategy of employing Te nanobelts as a protective layer holds great promise for enhancing the energy storage performance of zIBs,making them even more attractive as a viable energy storage solution forthefuture.

Pathogens generate and secrete effector proteins to the host plant cells during pathogenesis to promote virulence and *** the plant carries resistance(R)proteins that recognize pathogen effectors,effector-triggered immunity(ETI)is activated,resulting in a robust immune response and hypersensitive response(HR).The bipartite effector AvrRps4 from Pseudomonas syringae *** has been well studied in terms of avirulence *** planta,AvrRps4 is processed into two *** Cterminal fragment of AvrRps4(AvrRps4^(C))induces HR in turnip and is recognized by the paired resistance proteins AtRRS1/AtRPS4 in ***,we show that AvrRps4^(C)targets a group of Arabidopsis WRKY,including WRKY46,WRKY53,WRKY54,and WRKY70,to induce its virulence ***,AvrRps4^(C)suppresses the general binding and transcriptional activities of immune-positive regulator WRKY54 and WRKY54-mediated ***4^(C)interferes with WRKY54's binding activity to target gene SARD1 in vitro,suggesting WRKY54 is sequestered from the SARD1 promoter by AvrRps4^(C).Through the interaction of Avr Rps4^(C)with four WRKYs,AvrRps4 enhances the formation of homo-/heterotypic complexes of four WRKYs and sequesters them in the cytoplasm,thus inhibiting their function in plant ***,our results provide a detailed virulence mechanism of AvrRps4 through its C-terminus.

This review provides a comprehensive overview of the progress in light-material interactions(LMIs),focusing on lasers and flash lights for energy conversion and storage *** discuss intricate LMI parameters such as light sources,interaction time,and fluence to elucidate their importance in material *** addition,this study covers various light-induced photothermal and photochemical processes ranging from melting,crystallization,and ablation to doping and synthesis,which are essential for developing energy materials and ***,we present extensive energy conversion and storage applications demonstrated by LMI technologies,including energy harvesters,sensors,capacitors,and *** the several challenges associated with LMIs,such as complex mechanisms,and high-degrees of freedom,we believe that substantial contributions and potential for the commercialization of future energy systems can be achieved by advancing optical technologies through comprehensive academic research and multidisciplinary collaborations.

Callose,aβ-1,3-glucan plant cell wall polymer,regulates symplasmic channel size at plasmodesmata(PD)and plays a crucial role in a variety of plant ***,elucidating the molecular mechanism of PD callose homeostasis is *** screened and identified an Arabidopsis mutant plant with excessive callose deposition at PD and found that the mutated gene wasα1-COP,a member of the coat protein I(COPI)coatomer *** report that loss of function ofα1-COP elevates the callose accumulation at PD by affecting subcellular protein localization of callose degradation enzyme Pd *** process is linked to the functions of ERH1,an inositol phosphoryl ceramide synthase,and glucosylceramide synthase through physical interactions with theα1-COP ***,the loss of function ofα1-COP alters the subcellular localization of ERH1 and GCS proteins,resulting in a reduction of Glc Cers and Glc HCers molecules,which are key sphingolipid(SL)species for lipid raft *** findings suggest thatα1-COP protein,together with SL modifiers controlling lipid raft compositions,regulates the subcellular localization of GPI-anchored PDBG2 proteins,and hence the callose turnover at PD and symplasmic movement of *** findings provide the first key clue to link the COPI-mediated intracellular trafficking pathway to the callose-mediated intercellular signaling pathway through PD.

Flexible fibrous supercapacitors(FFS)are taking account of as the energy storage devices for wearable electronics owing to their high power density,high safety,long cycle life,and simple manufacturing ***,FFSs have the disadvantage of low specific capacitance that results from the electrochemical characteristics of the electrical double layer on the carbon fiber *** this study,for the first time,an FFS comprising surface-activated carbon fibers as an electrode/current collector and a redox additive gel polymer electrolyte(FFS-SARE)was fabricated for use as a wearable energy storage *** FFS-SARE showed outstanding electrochemical performance,namely,high specific capacitances of 891 and 399 mF cm^(-2) at current densities of 70.0 and 400 μA cm^(-2),respectively,and remarkable ultrafast cycling stability over 5000 cycles with 92%capacitance retention at a current density of 400.0 μA cm^(-2).Moreover,they exhibited mechanical flexibility and had high feasibility,and they showed good energy storage performance that renders them suitable for use in wearable electronic textiles.

Carbon-based fibrous supercapacitors(CFSs)have demonstrated great potential as next-generation wearable energy storage devices owing to their credibility,resilience,and high power *** limited specific surface area and low electrical conductivity of the carbon fiber electrode,however,impede its practical *** overcome this challenge,this study fabricated a CFS by sequentially coating graphene,carbon nanotube,and activated carbon on the carbon fiber surface(CF/G/CNT/AC).The CF/G/CNT/AC exhibited excellent electrochemical performance with a specific capacitance of 692 mF cm^(-2)at 70μA cm^(-2)and good cycling stability over 4000 *** result is ascribed to the increase of contact area between the active material and the current ***,the energy density of the as-prepared CF/G/CNT/AC fibrous supercapacitor reaches 86.6 and 37.7μW cm^(-2)at power densities of 126 and 720μW cm^(-2),respectively,demonstrating its potential for practical *** addition,the CF/G/CNT/AC demonstrated favorable traits such as mechanical flexibility,feasibility,and energy storage capacity,qualifying it as a viable alternative for wearable electronic textiles.

Nature of large (Ti, Nb)(C, N) particles precipitated during the solidification of Ti, Nb HSLA steel

To investigate the microsegregation phenomena and complex （Ti, Nb）（C, N） precipitation behavior during continuous casting, a unidirectional solidification unit was employed to simulate the solidification process. The samples of Ti, Nb-addition steels after unidirectional solidification were examined using field emission scanning electron microscope （FE-SEM） and electron probe X-ray microanalyzer （EPMA）. In such specimens, dendrite structure and mushy zone can be detected along the solidification direction. It shows that the addition of titanium, niobium to high-strength low-alloyed （HSLA） steel results in undesirable （Ti, Nb）（C, N） precipitation because of microsegregation. The effect of cooling rate on （Ti, Nb）（C, N） precipitation was investigated. The composition of large precipitates was determined using FE-SEM with EDS. Large （Ti, Nb）（C, N） precipitates could be divided into three kinds according to the composition and morphology. With the cooling rate increasing, Ti-rich （Ti, Nb）（C, N） precipitates are transformed to Nb-rich （Ti, Nb）（C, N） precipitates.
