Within the consistent daily rhythm of human life,intervertebral discs endure a variety of complex loads beyond the influences of gravity and muscle forces,leading to significant morphological changes(in terms of volume,area,and height)as well as biomechanical alterations,including an increase in disc stiffness and a decrease in intradiscal ***,the discs demonstrate an ability to regain their original morphological and biomechanical characteristics after a period of nocturnal *** preservation of normal disc function is critically dependent on this recovery phase,which serves to forestall premature disc *** phenomenon of disc recovery has been extensively documented through numerous in vivo studies employing advanced clinical techniques such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI),stadiometry,and intradiscal pressure ***,the findings from in vitro studies present a more complex picture,with reports varying between full recovery and only partial recuperation of the disc ***,research focusing on degenerated discs in vitro has shed light on the quantifiable impact of degeneration on the disc ability to *** dynamics within the disc are considered a primary factor in recovery,yet the disc intricate multiscale structure and its viscoelastic properties also play key *** elements interact in complex ways to influence the recovery mechanism,particularly in relation to the overall health of the *** objective of this review is to collate,analyze,and critically evaluate the existing body of in vivo and in vitro research on this topic,providing a comprehensive understanding of disc recovery *** understanding offers a blueprint for future advancements in medical treatments and bionic engineering solutions designed to mimic,support,and enhance the natural recovery processes of intervertebral discs.

Junction properties and conduction mechanism of new terbium complexes with triethylene glycol ligand for potential application in organic electronic device

Terbium-picrate triethylene glycol（EO3-Tb-Pic） complex was prepared in thin film and single layer device structure of ITO/EO3-Tb-Pic/Al, using spin coating technique. The UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy analysis was performed to evaluate the electronic molecular transition of the complex. The optical band gap, Eg estimated from the Tauc model revealed that EO3-Tb-Pic thin film exhibited a direct transition with Eg of 2.70 eV. The electronic parameters of the ITO/EO3-Tb-Pic/Al device such as the ideality factor n, barrier height Φb, saturation current Io, and series resistance Rs, were extracted from the conventional lnI-V, Cheung＇s functions and norde＇s method. It was found that the evaluated parameters calculated from norde＇s and Cheung＇s methods were consistent with those calculated from the conventional I-V method. In the double logarithmic I-V plot, three distinct regions based on the slope were identified, and the conduction mechanisms were discussed and explained. The mobility, μ value was estimated from SCLC region as 2.58×10^–7 cm2/（V·s）. This newly obtained lanthanide complex may be potentially utilized in electronic devices.

Study and Application of Polarographic Catalytic Wave of Chlordiazepoxide in the Presence of Persulfate

Polarographic catalytic wave of chlordiazepoxide in the presence of K 2S 2O 8 was studied in aqueous and DMF/H 2O mixed solutions. The results showed that a single reduction wave in alkaline medium was the reduction of the n=C bond in 1,2 position of chlordiazepoxide via an intermediate free radical in two one electron successive additions. When K 2S 2O 8 was present, the free radical of the n=C bond was oxidized to regenerate the original, producing a parallel catalytic wave of chlordiazepoxide. It was determined that the apparent rate constant k f of the oxidation reaction was 3.2×10 3 mol -1 ·L·s -1 . Using the catalytic wave the trace of chlordiazepoxide can be determined by linear potential scan polarography. In nH 3/nH 4Cl (pH 10.2±0.1, 0.12 mol/L)/K 2S 2O 8 (0.016 mol/L) supporting electrolyte, the second order derivative peak current of the catalytic wave was rectilinear to chlordiazepoxide concentration in the range of 3.20×10 -8 -1.60×10 -7 , 1.60×10 -7 -1.44×10 -6 and 1.44 ×10 -6 -1.44×10 -5 mol/L, respectively. The limit of detection was 9.0×10 -9 mol/L.

AIM： To screen a suspected Hungarian HnPCC family to find specific mutations and to evaluate their effect on the presentation of the disease. METHODS： The family was identified by applying the Amsterdam and Bethesda Criteria. Immunohistochemistry was performed, and DnA samples isolated from tumor tissue were evaluated for microsatellite instability. The identification of possible mutations was carried out by sequencing the hMLH1 and hMSH2 genes. RESULTS： Two different mutations were observed in the index patient and in his family members. The first mutation was located in exon 7, codon 422 of hMSH2, and caused a change from Glu to STOP codon. no other report of such a mutation has been published, as far as we could find in the international databases. The second mutation was found in exon 3 codon 127 of the hMSH2 gene, resulting in Asp→Ser substitution. The second mutation was already published, as a non-pathogenic allelic variation. COnCLUSIOn： The pedigree analysis suggested that the newly detected nonsense mutation in exon 7 of the hMSH2 gene might be responsible for the development of colon cancers. In family members where the exon 7 mutation is not coupled with this missense mutation, colon cancer appears after the age of 40. The association of these two mutations seems to decrease the age of manifestation of the disease into the early thirties.

Structural and molecular features of intestinal strictures in rats with Crohn's-like disease

AIM: To develop a new rat model we wanted to gain a better understanding of stricture formation in Crohn’s disease (CD).METHODS: Chronic colitis was induced locally by the administration of 2,4,6-trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid (TnBS). The relapsing inflammation characteristic to CD was mimicked by repeated TnBS treatments. Animals were randomly divided into control, once, twice and three times TnBS-treated groups. Control animals received an enema of saline. Tissue samples were taken from the strictured colonic segments and also adjacent proximally and distally to its 60, 90 or 120 d after the last TnBS or saline administrations. The frequency and macroscopic extent of the strictures were measured on digital photographs. The structural features of strictured gut wall were studied by light- and electron microscopy. Inflammation related alterations in TGF-beta 2 and 3, matrix metalloproteinases 9 (MMP9) and TIMP1 mRnA and protein expression were determined by quantitative real-time PCR and western blot analysis. The quantitative distribution of caspase 9 was determined by post-embedding ***: Intestinal strictures first appeared 60 d after TnBS treatments and the frequency of them increased up to day 120. From day 90 an intact lamina epithelialis, reversible thickening of lamina muscularis mucosae and irreversible thickening of the muscularis externa were demonstrated in the strictured colonic segments. nevertheless the morphological signs of apoptosis were frequently seen and excess extracellular matrix deposition was recorded between smooth muscle cells (SMCs). Enhanced caspase 9 expression on day 90 in the SMCs and on day 120 also in myenteric neurons indicated the induction of apoptosis. The mRnA expression profile of TGF-betas after repeated TnBS doses was characteristic to CD, TGF-beta 2, but not TGF-beta 3 was up-regulated. Wines with a clear geographical origin are an issue of interest for consumers and food *** paper presents a data mining study of Merlot wines from South America to identify the fingerprint of their geographical origin.A group of samples from Argentina(n=17),Brazil(n=12),Chile(n=48),and Uruguay(n=6)was *** chemical compounds were determined by high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).These compounds include antioxidant activity,total polyphenols,total anthocyanins,individual anthocyanins and *** binary classification problems were performed(Brazil versus non-Brazil,Argentina versus non-Argentina,Chile versus non-Chile,and Uruguay versus non-Uruguay)to investigate the geographic characteristics of each *** the evaluation of binary classifications in our dataset it was possible to identify the main variables(chemical compounds)that discriminate between the *** used the following algorithms:Synthetic Minority over-sample Technique and under-sampling to balance the dataset of each classification approach,the Relief algorithm to obtain a variable importance ranking and the classifiers Support Vector Machines,Multilayer Perceptron and Radial Basis Function network with dynamic decay *** model obtained the highest performance measures among the classifiers for each dataset(93.73%of accuracy for the Brazil versus non-Brazil,91.18%for the Argentina versus non-Argentina,79.16%for the Chile versus non-Chile,and 91.67%for the Uruguay versus non-Uruguay classification).These accuracies were achieved by the search of the possible variable subsets according to Relief for each classification *** found that some variables,such as DPPH,wine color and individual anthocyanins,are among the most important variables in the characterization of Merlot wines.

The cultivated area of jujube in Xinjiang has increased rapidly in recent *** the jujube harvest by hand has the shortage of high labor intensity,low efficiency and high labor cost,in addition,the harvesting machinery applying to dwarf and dense planting mode of jujubes is unavailable in *** 4ZZ-4A2 based on the full-hydraulic self-propelled jujube harvester was designed to solve the above *** harvester was mainly composed of a frame,a vibrating device,a jujube collecting and conveying device,an air separation device,a steering system,a hydraulic system and a jujube suction device and was capable of completing vibration,collection,conveying,cleaning and sundries removal work of jujubes through one *** jujubes dropped on the ground were picked up at the same *** AMESim simulation software was adopted to perform simulation analysis on the overall hydraulic *** results showed that the speed of the vibrating motor was stable at about 650 r/min(the corresponding vibration frequency is 10.83 Hz)with the torque of 80 n·m,the speed of the conveyor motor was stable at 77 r/min with the torque of 77 n·m;the speed of the fan motor was stable at 54 r/min with the torque of 53.6 n·m;the speed of the walking motor fluctuated around 100 r/min with the torque of about 1000 n·m;the hydraulic steering system responded rapidly and could satisfy the actual working requirements of the jujube *** jujube garden test results showed that the harvester could reach to the optimum harvesting effect when running at the speed of 0.5 m/*** such speed,the ground jujube picking rate was 45.1%,the tree jujube harvesting rate was 93.2%,the loss rate was 2.9%,and the damage rate was 0.9%.This study can provide theoretical basis and technical support for the jujube harvester.

The purpose of this paper is to classify wines from 4 different countries in South *** class of wines is formed by samples considered by experts as representatives of the following commercial categories:“Argentinean Malbec(AM)”,“Brazilian Merlot(BM)”,“Uruguayan Tannat(UT)”and“Chilean Carménère(CC)”.The 83 samples collected were analyzed according to their composition of volatiles,semi-volatiles and phenolic *** built a decision system for classification based on support vector machines(SVM),along with Correlation-based Feature selection(CFS),and RandomForest Importance(RFI),whichmeasures the relative importance of the input ***,we use CFS to select a subset of variables among 190 chemical *** chemicals were selected as correlated to the category and uncorrelated with each ***,these chemical compounds were organized according to the importance ranking given by the RFI and classified with *** study clearly indicated that SVMin combination with feature selection methodswas able to identify the most important chemicals to classify the wine *** the compounds identified in the wine samples,the variable subset defined by the feature selection methods,which were catechin,gallic,octanoic acid,myricetin,caffeic,isobutanol,resveratrol,kaempferol,and ORAC,were able to achieve an accuracy of 93.97%in classifying the commercial categories.

Stability and Electronic Properties of Metal-n4 and Metal-n2 Complexes

nitrogen molecules nx have been the subject of much recent research because of their potential as high-energy materials. Many nitrogen molecules dissociate with very low barriers, including molecules such as acyclic n4 that are essentially unbound. A number of studies have reported the ability of heteroatoms to stabilize complex nitrogen molecules. In the present study, the energetic and electronic properties of scandium（Ⅰ） and titanium（Ⅱ） complexes with n2 and n4 are calculated and discussed. Dissociation energies and singlet-triplet energies are determined by theoretical calculations using second-order perturbation theory （MP2） in conjunction with the Dunning basis sets.
