Background and aims:The primary goal of chronic hepatitis B(CHB)treatment is to reduce hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg).T helper 17(Th17)and regulatory T(Treg)cells are essential for the development of ***,how Th17 and Treg cells contribute to HBsAg loss is still ***,this study aimed to search for the predictive value of Th17 and Treg cells for HBsAg loss in CHB patients with low HBsAg ***:The study included 99 hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg)-negative CHB patients who had completed a year of nucleos(t)ide analogue(NA)monotherapy and had received both NA and pegylated interferon(PEG-IFN)treatment for less than 96 weeks(96 wk).In the cured group,48 patients lost HBsAg within 48 wk,while 51 patients did not(uncured group).Blood samples and clinical data were collected for ***:During PEG-IFN and NA combination therapy,the proportion of Th17 cells in the cured group increased significantly,while the proportion of Treg cells in the uncured group *** 0 to 24 wk,the proportion of Th17 cells in the cured group was significantly higher than in the uncured group,while the opposite was true for Treg *** with alanine aminotransferase(ALT)2.5 upper limit of normal(ULN)at 12 wk had a higher proportion of Th17 cells and a lower proportion of Treg cells than those with ALTlinical cure index,including age,HBsAg quantification,and the proportions of Th17 and Treg cells,had a higher area under the curve(0.957)for predicting HBsAg loss when compared to the proportions of Th17 and Treg cells and HBsAg quantification ***:Combined with quantification of HBsAg,the proportions of Th17 cells and Treg cells at baseline can be used as good predictors of HBsAg loss in patients with low HBsAg quantification treated with

Background： Ankylosing spondylitis （AS） is the most common rheumatic condition that is slowly progressive and predominantly affects adolescents. Pathological bone formation associated with AS is an important cause of disability. The aim of the study was to investigate the possible involvement of the genes related to endochondral ossification and ectopia ossification in genetic susceptibility to AS in a Chinese Han population. Methods： Sixty-eight single nucleotide polymorphisms （SNPs） from 13 genes were genotyped in discovery cohorts including 300 AS patients and 180 healthy controls. The rs10019009 in dentin matrix protein 1 （DMP1） gene shown as association with AS after multiple testing corrections in discovery cohorts was replicated in a validation independent cohort of 620 AS patients and 683 healthy controls. The rs 10019009 was assessed with bioin fomlatics including phylogenetic context, F-SNP and FastSNP functional predictions, secondary structure prediction, and molecular modeling. We performed a functional analysis of rs10019009 via reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, alkaline phosphatase （ALP） activity in human osteosarcoma U2OS cells. Results： Interestingly, the SNP rs10019009 was associated with AS in both the discovery cohort （P = 0.0012） and validation cohort （P - 0.0349）, as well as overall （P = 0.0004） in genetic case-control association analysis. After a multivariate logistic regression analysis, the effect of this genetic variant was observed to be independent of linkage disequilibrium. Via bioinformatics analysis, it was found that the amino acid change of the rs 10019009 led to changes of SNP function, secondary structure, tertiary confomlation, and splice mode. Finally, functional analysis ofrsl0019009 in U2OS cells demonstrated that the risk T allele of the rsl0019009 increased enzymatic activity of ALP, compared to that of the nonrisk allele （P = 0.0080）. Rechargeable aqueous zinc-metal batteries （AZMBs） are promising candidates for large-scale energy storage systems due to their low cost and high ***,their performance and sustainability are significantly hindered by the sluggish desolvation kinetics at the electrode/electrolyte interface and the corresponding hydrogen evolution reaction where active water molecules tightly participate in the Zn（H2O）62+solvation ***,learnt from self-generated solid electrolyte interphase （SEI） in anodes,the dielectric but ion-conductive zinc niobate nanoparticles artificial layer is constructed on metallic Zn surface （ZNB@Zn）,acting as a rapid desolvation *** zincophilic and dielectric-conductive properties of ZNB layer accelerate interfacial desolvation/diffusion and suppress surface corrosion or dendrite formation,achieving uniform Zn plating/stripping behavior,as confirmed by electronic/optical microscopies and interface spectroscopical measurements together with theoretical ***,the as-prepared ZNB@Zn electrode exhibits excellent cycling stability of over 2000 h and robust reversibility （99.54%） even under high current density and depth of discharge ***,the assembled ZNB@Zn-based full cell displays high capacity-retention rate of 80.21%after 3000 cycles at 5 A g-1and outstanding rate performance up to 10 A *** large-areal pouch cell is stabilized for hundreds of cycles,highlighting the bright prospects of the dielectric but ion-conductive layer in further application of AZMBs.

Al-18Si alloy reinforced with 15%,20% and 25%(volume fraction) SiC whiskers were prepared by squeeze casting technique and the solidification behavior and microstructure of as-prepared composites at different cooling rates were studied by DSC,optical microscope,SEM and *** results show that silicon phase is nucleated on SiC *** the increase of cooling rate,the degree of undercooling increases in the composites as well as in the *** increase of cooling rate leads to a reduction in the size of eutectic Al-Si and also changes its morphology from short stick to ***,the change of primary Si is *** primary Si size is refined,and then coarsened with increasing cooling *** primary Si morphology of composites changes from agglomerate to stick.

Hardness of the TiB2/7075 composite increased with increasing deformation temperature. In the annealed TiB2/7075 composite, a great amount of fiber-like MgZn2 phases (about 1 mum in length) and small MgZn2 phases (about 100 nm in size) were precipitated nearby the grain boundaries where the TiB2 particles exist. After deformation at 300 degreesC, some of the large precipitates and all the small precipitates in these area dissolved into the matrix, meanwhile, fine precipitates were formed in grains. After deformation at 450 degreesC, all the precipitates in the annealed composite dissolved into the matrix, and new phases were precipitated in grains. The dissolution of the large fiber-like precipitate makes the saturation level of the matrix increased and leads to an increased solution hardening and natural aging, which contribute much to the hardening effect.

6061Al matrix composites reinforced by 5vol.%ABOw and 15vol.%SiCp were fabricated by semi-solid stirring technique successfully at 640 ℃ for 40min with the stirring rate of 300 rpm,and the composites were extruded at a temperature of 500 ℃ using an extrusion ratio of 25:1 *** tests were performed on as-casted and as-extruded(ABOw+SiCp)/6061Al composites at room temperature,and microstructures were observed by scanning electron microscope(SEM).SEM investigation showed that the as-extruded composite exhibited reduced porosity as well as a more uniform distribution of the reinforcements compared with the as-casted *** tensile tests results showed that the ultimate tensile strength and tensile elongation of as-extruded composite are higher than that of as-casted composite.

A reduction in adult neurogenesis is associated with behavioral abnormalities in patients with Alzheimer's ***,enhancing adult neurogenesis represents a promising therapeutic approach for mitigating disease symptoms and ***,nonpharmacological interventions aimed at inducing adult neurogenesis are currently *** individual non-pharmacological interventions,such as aerobic exercise,acousto-optic stimulation,and olfactory stimulation,have shown limited capacity to improve neurogenesis and cognitive function in patients with Alzheimer's disease,the therapeutic effect of a strategy that combines these interventions has not been fully *** this study,we observed an age-dependent decrease in adult neurogenesis and a concurrent increase in amyloid-beta accumulation in the hippocampus of amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 mice aged 2-8 *** deposition became evident at 4 months,while neurogenesis declined by 6 months,further deteriorating as the disease ***,following a 4-week multifactor stimulation protocol,which encompassed treadmill running(46 min/d,10 m/min,6 days per week),40 Hz acousto-optic stimulation(1 hour/day,6 days/week),and olfactory stimulation(1 hour/day,6 days/week),we found a significant increase in the number of newborn cells(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive cells),immature neurons(doublecortin-positive cells),newborn immature neurons(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive/doublecortin-positive cells),and newborn astrocytes(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive/glial fibrillary acidic protein-positive cells).Additionally,the amyloid-beta load in the hippocampus *** findings suggest that multifactor stimulation can enhance adult hippocampal neurogenesis and mitigate amyloid-beta neuropathology in amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 ***,cognitive abilities were improved,and depressive symptoms were alleviated in amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 mice
