BACKGROUND Spinal infection with sparganosis is rarely seen,and multiple spinal infections with sparganosis in the thoracic spine have not been *** SUMMARY In this case report,a 56-year old male patient suffered from back pain for 3 *** tomography examination of the thoracic spine showed bone destruction of the T4-5 vertebral body,as well as the right pedicle and lamina of *** resonance imaging showed high signals on T2W1 images and fat-suppressed images in the right vertebral body of T4-5 and the right pedicle and lamina of T5,a high signal in the vertebral canal,and similar high signals in the paravertebral and subcutaneous regions of the whole *** biopsy showed *** definite diagnosis,the patient was treated with debridement of T4-5 infected lesions under a microscope,bone grafting and internal ***,the patient's back pain symptoms were significantly relieved;the incision healed after one-stage treatment,and alben-dazole antiparasitic treatment was *** Puncture biopsy is the most reliable method to diagnose infection by *** of infected lesions under the microscope and albendazole for anti-parasitic treatment are safe and effective.

Estrogen deficiency,which mainly occurs in postmenopausal women,is a primary reason for osteoporosis in clinical ***,the molecular regulation of osteoporosis in menopausal females is still not adequately explained in the literature,with the diagnosis and treatment for osteoporosis being ***,exosomal microRNAs(miRNAs)were used to evaluate their diagnosis and prediction effects in menopausal females with *** this study,6 menopausal females without osteoporosis and 12 menopausal females with osteoporosis were *** serum exosomes were isolated,and the miRNA expression was detected by miRNA high-throughput *** miRNA effects were analyzed by gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of genes and genomes *** miRNA-targeted genes were evaluated by Targetscan 7.2 and the protein-protein interactions(PPI)by *** genes were analyzed by the CytoHubba app of *** results showed that 191 aberrant miRNAs were found in the group of menopausal females with osteoporosis,including 72 upregulated miRNAs and 121 downregulated *** miRNAs were involved in many signaling pathways,such as the Wnt,MAPK,and Hippo *** on PPI network analysis,FBXL3,FBXL13,COPS2,UBE2D3,DCUN1D1,DCUN1D4,CUL3,FBXO22,ASB6,and COMMD2 were the 10 most notable genes in the PPI *** conclusion,aberrant serum exosomal miRNAs were associated with an altered risk of osteoporosis in menopausal females and may act as potential biomarkers for the prediction of risk of osteoporosis in menopausal females.

Parkinson’s disease is a common neurodegenerative disease with movement disorders associated with the intracytoplasmic deposition of aggregate proteins such asα-synuclein in *** one of the major intracellular degradation pathways,the autophagy-lysosome pathway plays an important role in eliminating these *** evidence has shown that upregulation of the autophagy-lysosome pathway may contribute to the clearance ofα-synuclein aggregates and protect against degeneration of dopaminergic neurons in Parkinson’s ***,multiple genes associated with the pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease are intimately linked to alterations in the autophagy-lysosome ***,this pathway appears to be a promising therapeutic target for treatment of Parkinson’s *** this review,we briefly introduce the machinery of ***,we provide a description of the effects of Parkinson’s disease–related genes on the autophagy-lysosome ***,we highlight the potential chemical and genetic therapeutic strategies targeting the autophagy–lysosome pathway and their applications in Parkinson’s disease.

The soaring demand for smart portable electronics and electric vehicles is propelling the advancements in high-energy–density lithium-ion *** manganese iron phosphate (LiMnxFe1-xPO4) has garnered significant attention as a promising positive electrode material for lithium-ion batteries due to its advantages of low cost,high safety,long cycle life,high voltage,good high-temperature performance,and high energy *** LiMnxFe1-xPO4has made significant breakthroughs in the past few decades,there are still facing great challenges in poor electronic conductivity and Li-ion diffusion,manganese dissolution affecting battery cycling performance,as well as low tap *** review systematically summarizes the reaction mechanisms,various synthesis methods,and electrochemical properties of LiMnxFe1-xPO4to analyze reaction processes accurately and guide material ***,the main challenges currently faced are concluded,and the corresponding various modification strategies are discussed to enhance the reaction kinetics and electrochemical performance of LiMnxFe1-xPO4,including multi-scale particle regulation,heteroatom doping,surface coating,as well as microscopic morphology ***,in view of the current research challenges faced by intrinsic reaction processes,kinetics,and energy storage applications,the promising research directions are *** importantly,it is expected to provide key insights into the development of high-performance and stable LiMnxFe1-xPO4materials,to achieve practical energy storage requirements.

In the realm of Intelligent Railway Transportation Systems,effective multi-party collaboration is crucial due to concerns over privacy and data *** Federated Learning(VFL)has emerged as a promising approach to facilitate such collaboration,allowing diverse entities to collectively enhance machine learning models without the need to share sensitive training ***,existing works have highlighted VFL’s susceptibility to privacy inference attacks,where an honest but curious server could potentially reconstruct a client’s raw data from embeddings uploaded by the *** vulnerability poses a significant threat to VFL-based intelligent railway transportation *** this paper,we introduce SensFL,a novel privacy-enhancing method to against privacy inference attacks in ***,SensFL integrates regularization of the sensitivity of embeddings to the original data into the model training process,effectively limiting the information contained in shared *** reducing the sensitivity of embeddings to the original data,SensFL can effectively resist reverse privacy attacks and prevent the reconstruction of the original data from the *** experiments were conducted on four distinct datasets and three different models to demonstrate the efficacy of *** results show that SensFL can effectively mitigate privacy inference attacks while maintaining the accuracy of the primary learning *** results underscore SensFL’s potential to advance privacy protection technologies within VFL-based intelligent railway systems,addressing critical security concerns in collaborative learning environments.
