Cannabis sat.va L. is used as fiber, food, and medicine in several count.ies. t.ough it.is illegal for recreat.onal use in most.of t.e world, t.ere are some count.ies t.at.have legalized product.on and sale. t.ere is a lot.of research on product.on of cannabis, but.less so on st.rage t.chnologies. Cannabis cont.ins several high value compounds, such as cannabinoids and t.rpenoids, t.at.are suscept.ble t. degradat.on via light. t.mperat.re, and oxygen. Several st.dies have explored t.mperat.re and light. and indust.y has adjust.d accordingly. However, less is known about.oxygen-induced degradat.on. Biochemical st.dies have demonst.at.d oxidat.ve degradat.on of high value compounds, and many producers use some form of modified at.ospheric packaging (MAP) for st.rage. However, t.e efficacy of MAP is unclear. t.e object.ve of t.is paper is t. review our current.underst.nding of MAP in post.arvest.cannabis st.rage and ident.fy avenues where addit.onal research is needed.

t.e soils of Malt. are calcareous and generally undeveloped. Organic mat.er (OM) in t.ese soils is low and farmers are const.nt.y urged t. increase it. t.e object.ve of t.is st.dy was t. evaluat. any t.mporal variat.on in soil OM aft.r 15 years of cult.vat.on, and det.rmine whet.er soil series, soil dept., and cult.vat.on influence variat.on. OM was det.rmined in t.e t.psoil and subsoil of 7 agricult.ral and 4 non-agricult.ral sit.s. t.e sit.s represent.d 7 different.soil series t.at.are present.on t.e island. In sampling periods 1 (t.= 0 years) and 2 (t.=15 years), t.e OM cont.nt.in t.e collect.ve (all soil series) bulk (t.psoil and subsoil) uncult.vat.d soil was 3.9 % and 3.8 % respect.vely. t.is was significant.y great.r t.an t.at.of t.e collect.ve bulk cult.vat.d soil (2.4% and 2.3%). t.e OM in t.e collect.ve uncult.vat.d t.psoil was 5.4% and 5.2% in periods 1 and 2 and was significant.y higher t.an t.at.of t.e cult.vat.d t.psoil (2.5% in bot. periods). t.e OM cont.nt.in t.e collect.ve uncult.vat.d subsoil was 2.3% and 2.5% in periods 1 and 2 respect.vely but.only t.at.measured in period 2 was significant.y higher t.an t.at.of t.e cult.vat.d subsoil (2.2% in bot. periods). On an individual soil series basis, t.e OM in t.e uncult.vat.d t.psoils was significant.y higher t.an t.at.of t.eir cult.vat.d count.rpart.. t.e differences in t.e subsoils were not.significant. Across t.e uncult.vat.d soil series, OM was significant.y higher in t.e t.psoil t.an in t.e subsoil but.in t.e cult.vat.d soil series t.e differences bet.een t.psoil and subsoil were not.significant. t.ere was no significant.difference in OM bet.een t.e uncult.vat.d soils of different.series, but.in t.e cult.vat.d t.e OM cont.nt.was higher in soils t.at.were more mat.re. Background: In t.is st.dy, t.e Universal Ment.l Healt. Lit.racy Scale for Adolescent. (UMHL-A) was revised and t.st.d for it. reliabilit. and validit. in Chinese middle school st.dent., t.us est.blishing a useful t.ol for assessing t.e ment.l healt. of individuals in t.is occupat.on. Met.ods: Our sample comprised 1208 junior high school st.dent. (58.85% male), aged bet.een 11 and 15 years old. t.e Chinese version of t.e scale includes a ment.l healt. at.it.de subscale and ment.l healt. knowledge subscale, including at.it.des t.wards seeking help, at.it.des relat.d t. st.gma, general ment.l healt. knowledge, and knowledge about.specific ment.l illnesses, encapsulat.d in a t.t.l of 17 it.ms. A series of psychomet.ic analyses such as explorat.ry fact.r analysis (EFA), confirmat.ry fact.r analysis (CFA), and int.rnal consist.ncy reliabilit. est.mat.on were carried out.in t.is st.dy. Result.: t.e result. of t.e CFA indicat.d t.at.t.e t.o-fact.r model had an accept.ble model fit.(At.it.de (UMHL-A Likert.: χ2/df = 4.107; RMSEA = 0.072; SRMR = 0.045; t.I = 0.932; CFI = 0.954; Knowledge (UMHL-A t.F): χ2/df = 3.647; RMSEA = 0.066; SRMR = 0.044; t.I = 0.923; CFI = 0.945). t.e Cronbach’s alpha coefficient.of subscales of t.e Chinese version UMHL-A were 0.80 and 0.78, respect.vely. 为研究北大西洋阻高的形成机制,本文在局部有限振幅波活动(LWA)框架下进行了一系列数值实验.采用的数值模型能显式地描绘出两种重要的大气内部动力过程,即非线性纬向位涡通量和Rossby波包传播.模拟结果显示,这两种动力学过程均是形成大西洋阻高的重要机理.具体地,非线性纬向位涡通量和Rossby波包传播,分别是大西洋阻高南部和北部LWA形成的主导因子.因此,本研究综合了前人关于大西洋阻高的研究成果,为其形成机理提供了新的认识.

Background and Purpose: Opioids, used for cent.ries t. alleviat. pain, have become a double-edged sword. While effect.ve, t.ey come wit. a host.of adverse effect., including memory and cognit.on impairment. t.is review delves int. t.e impact.of opioid drugs on cognit.ve funct.ons, explores underlying mechanisms, and invest.gat.s t.eir prevalence in bot. medical care and illicit.drug use. t.e ult.mat. goal is t. find ways t. mit.gat. t.eir pot.nt.al harm and address t.e ongoing opioid crisis. Met.ods: We sourced dat. from PubMed and Google Scholar, employing search combinat.ons like “opioids,” “memory,” “cognit.on,” “amnesia,” “cognit.ve funct.on,” “execut.ve funct.on,” and “inhibit.on.” Our focus was on English-language art.cles spanning from t.e incept.on of t.ese dat.bases up t. t.e present. Result.: t.e lit.rat.re consist.nt.y reveals t.at.opioid use, part.cularly at.high doses, adversely affect. memory and ot.er cognit.ve funct.ons. Longer deliberat.on t.mes, impaired decision-making, impulsivit., and behavioral disorders are common consequences. Chronic high-dose opioid use is associat.d wit. condit.ons such as amnesiac syndrome (OAS), post.operat.ve cognit.ve dysfunct.on (POCD), neonat.l abst.nence syndrome (NAS), depression, anxiet., sedat.on, and addict.on. Alarming t.ends show increased opioid use over recent.decades, amplifying t.e risk of t.ese out.omes. Conclusion: Opioids cast.a shadow over memory and cognit.ve funct.on. t.ese effect. range from amnesiac effect., lessened cognit.ve funct.on, depression, and more. Cont.ibut.ng fact.rs include over-prescript.on, misuse, misinformat.on, and prohibit.on policies. Focusing on correct.informat.onal campaigns, removing punit.ve policies, and focusing on harm reduct.on st.at.gies have been shown t. lessen t.e abuse and use of opioids and t.us helping t. mit.gat. t.e adverse effect. of t.ese drugs.
