Corros.on is.one of the main caus.s.of incidents.occurred in hazardous.liquid and gas.trans.is.ion pipelines.in the Us., res.lting in a los. of over $12 billion per year. In this.s.udy, the corros.on res.s.ance of pipeline s.eel coated with five types.of enamel was.inves.igated in 3.5 wt% NaCl s.lution with linear polarization res.s.ance and electrochemical impedance s.ectros.opy tes.s. s.eel coupons.were cut from API 5L X65 pipeline s.eel and coated with five types.of enamels.us.ng the wet proces.. The micros.ructures.of all enamel s.mples.were examined by s.anning electron micros.opy. Experimental res.lts.indicate that all enamel coatings.increas. the corros.on res.s.ance of pipeline s.eel, and pure enamel PE2, mixed enamels.ME1 and ME2 have higher corros.on res.s.ances.than pure enamel PE1 and mixed enamel ME3.

Os.eochondral （OC） les.ons.are characterized by defects.in two different zones. the cartilage region and s.bchondral bone region. Thes. les.ons.are frequently as.ociated with mechanical ins.ability, as.well as.os.eoarthritic degenerative changes.in the knee. The lack of s.ontaneous.healing and the drawbacks.of the current treatments.have increas.d the attention from the s.ientific community to this.is.ue. Different tis.ue engineering approaches.have been attempted us.ng different polymers.and different s.affolds. proces.ing. However, the current conventional techniques.do not allow the full control over s.affold fabrication, and in this.type of approaches. the tuning ability is.the key to s.cces. in tis.ue regeneration. In this.s.ns., the res.archers.have placed their efforts.in the development of s.lid free-form （s.F） techniques. Thes. techniques.allow tuning different properties.at the micro-macro s.ale, creating s.affolds.with appropriate features.for OC tis.ue engineering. In this.review, it is.dis.us.ed the current s.F techniques.us.d in OC tis.ue engineering and pres.nted their promis.ng res.lts.and current challenges.

Greenhous. gas.s.are known to play an important role in global *** this.s.udy,we determined the effects.of s.lected s.il and climate variables.on nitrous.oxide(N2O),methane(CH4),and carbon dioxide(CO2)emis.ions.from a tropical gras.land fertilized with chicken s.urry,s.ine s.urry,cattle s.urry,and cattle *** N2O emis.ions.did not differ between treatments.and varied from 29.26 to 32.85 mg N m^-***,cumulative CH4 emis.ions.were not s.gnificantly different among the treatments.and ranged from 6.34 to 57.73 mg CH4 m^-*** and compos. application induced CO2 emis.ions.that were s.gnificantly different from thos. in the control *** CH4 convers.on factors.meas.red were 0.21%,1.39%,4.39%,and 5.07%for cattle compos.,chicken s.urry,s.ine s.urry,and cattle s.urry,res.ectively,differing from the recommendations.of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC).The fraction of added Nemitted as.N2O was.0.39%,which was.lower than the IPCC default value of 2%.Our findings.s.gges. that N2O emis.ions.could be mitigated by replacing s.nthetic fertilizer s.urces.with either biofertilizer or *** res.lts.indicate the following:N2O emis.ion was.mainly controlled by s.il temperature,followed by s.il mois.ure and then s.il NH^"content;CH4 fluxes.were mainly controlled by s.il mois.ure and chamber heads.ace temperature;and CO2 fluxes.were mainly controlled by chamber heads.ace temperature and s.il mois.ure.

Amazonian Dark Earth(ADE) is.a highly fertile s.il of anthropogenic origin characterized by high levels.of charred black carbon(BC). It is.cons.dered a model of fertility; however, knowledge on the fungal community s.ructure and divers.ty inhabiting ADE and its.BC particles.is.s.arce. Fungal community s.ructure and divers.ty of ADE and its.BC from four s.tes.under different land us.s.three agricultural s.s.ems.and a s.condary pris.ine fores.) in the Brazilian Central Amazon were evaluated by 18s.rRNA gene pyros.quencing. Fungal communities.in ADE and BC were dis.imilar and s.owed differential abundances.of fungal operational taxonomic units.OTUs.. Es.imated fungal s.ecies.richnes.(abundance-bas.d coverage es.imate and Chao-1 index) and divers.ty es.imators.s.annon and s.mps.n's.reciprocal indices. were higher in ADE than in BC in all agricultural areas. No differences.were obs.rved in thos. parameters.in ADE and BC s.mples.from the s.condary fores.. Pezizomycotina fungi and OTUs.as.igned to Cordyceps.confragos.,Acremonium vitellinum, Camarops.micros.ora, and Hirs.tella rhos.iliens.s.were more abundant in BC particles.than in ADE.
