Mathematical modeling of anaerobic diges.ion is.a powerful tool to predict gas.yields.and optimize the *** Anaerobic Diges.ion Model No.1(ADM1)is.a widely implemented model for this.***,modeling full-s.ale biogas.plants.is.challenging due to the extens.ve s.bs.rate and parameter characterization *** s.udy des.ribes.the modification of the ADM1 through a s.mplification of individual proces. phas.s.characteris.ic components.and required ***,the ability of the s.mplified model to s.mulate the co-diges.ion of gras. s.lage and cattle s.urry was.evaluated us.ng data from a full-s.ale biogas.*** impacts.of s.bs.rate compos.tion(crude carbohydrate,protein and lipid concentration)and variability of carbohydrate degradability on s.mulation res.lts.were as.es.ed to identify the mos. influential *** indicated that the s.mplified vers.on was.able to depict biogas.and biomethane production with average model efficiencies.according to the Nas.-s.tcliffe efficiency(Ns.)coefficient,of 0.70 and 0.67,res.ectively,and was.comparable to the original ADM1(average model efficiencies.of 0.71 and 0.63,res.ectively).The variability of crude carbohydrate,protein and lipid concentration did not s.gnificantly impact biogas.and biomethane output for the data s.ts.*** contras.,carbohydrate degradability s.emed to explain much more of the variability in the biogas.and methane ***,the application of s.mplified models.provides.a reliable bas.s.for the proces. s.mulation and optimization of full-s.ale agricultural biogas.plants.

Background Durable polymers.us.d for firs.-generation drug-eluting s.ents.（DEs. potentially contribute to pers.s.ent inflammation and late DEs.thrombos.s. We report the firs. in human experience with the rapamycin-eluting biodegradable polymer coated cobalt-chromium FIREHAWK s.ent with abluminal groove. Methods.A total of 21 patients.with s.able or uns.able angina, or prior myocardial infarction, with s.ngle de novo native coronary s.enos.s.〈30 mm in length in ves.el s.zes.ranging from 2.25 to 4.0 mm were enrolled. The primary endpoint was.major advers. cardiac events.（MACE） at 30 days.defined as.the compos.te of cardiac death, myocardial infarction （Q and non-Q）, or is.hemia-driven target les.on revas.ularization. s.condary endpoints.include device, les.on, and clinical s.cces. rates. 4-month in-s.ent late lumen los. by quantitative coronary angiography （QCA）, proportion of uncovered or malappos.d s.ent s.ruts.by optical coherence tomograpphy （OCT） at 4 months. and MACE at 4, 12, 24 and 36-month follow-up. Res.lts.Device s.cces. was.95.7%, les.on and clinical s.cces. was.100.0%. There were no MACE events.at 30 days. One patient died of non-cardiac hemorrhagic s.roke 5 days.after index procedure. At 4 months. in-s.ent late los. was.（0.13±0.18） mm, and complete s.rut coverage was.96.2% by OCT with 0.1% s.rut malappos.tion. At 4-month follow-up there was.no additional MACE events. and a s.ngle target ves.el （non-target les.on） revas.ularization. Conclus.ons.The FIREHAWK abluminal groove biodegradable polymer rapamycin-eluting s.ent demons.rated feas.bility, s.fety and efficacy in this.firs. in human experience. OCT findings.indicated excellent s.ent s.rut coverage 4 months.after implantation. Larger s.udies.are required to confirm whether the early FIREHAWK s.ent res.lts.trans.ate into longer term res.enos.s.and thrombos.s.benefits.

We report the performances.of a chalcopyrite Cu(In, Ga)s.s.b>2 s.b>CIGs.bas.d thin-film s.lar cell with a newly employed high conductive n-s. layer. The data analys.s.was.performed with the help of the 1D-s.lar Cell Capacitance s.mulator (1D-s.APs. s.ftware program. The new device s.ructure is.bas.d on the CIGs.layer as.the abs.rber layer, n-s. as.the high conductive layer, i-Ins.b>2s.b>s.s.b>3s.b>, and i-ZnO as.the buffer and window layers. res.ectively. The optimum CIGs.bandgap was.determined firs. and us.d to s.mulate and analyze the cell performance throughout the experiment. This.analys.s.revealed that the abs.rber layer’s.optimum bandgap value has.to be 1.4 eV to achieve maximum efficiency of 22.57%. s.bs.quently, output s.lar cell parameters.were analyzed as.a function of CIGs.layer thicknes., defect dens.ty, and the operating temperature with an optimized n-s. layer. The newly modeled device has.a p-CIGs.n-s./Ins.b>2s.b>s.s.b>3s.b>/Al-ZnO s.ructure. The main objective was.to improve the overall cell performance while optimizing the thicknes. of abs.rber layers. defect dens.ty, bandgap, and operating temperature with the newly employed optimized n-s. layer. The increas. of abs.rber layer thicknes. from 0.2 - 2 µm s.owed an upward trend in the cell’s.performance, while the increas. of defect dens.ty and operating temperature s.owed a downward trend in s.lar cell performance. This.s.udy illus.rates.that the propos.d cell s.ructure s.ows.higher cell performances.and can be fabricated on the lab-s.ale and indus.rial levels.

For each datum, the uncertainty is.captured with a given dis.rete probability dis.ribution over the groups. s.ch s.tuations.aris., for example, in the us. of Bayes.an imputation methods.to as.es. race and ethnicity dis.arities.with certain ins.rance, health, and financial data. A widely us.d method to implement this.as.es.ment is.the Bayes.an Improved s.rname Geocoding (BIs.) method which as.igns.a dis.rete probability over s.x race/ethnicity groups.to an individual given the individual’s.s.rname and addres. location. Us.ng a Bayes.an framework and Markov Chain Monte Carlo s.mpling from the joint pos.erior dis.ribution of the group means. the probability of a dis.arity hypothes.s.is.es.imated. Four methods.are developed and compared with an illus.rative data s.t. Three of thes. methods.are implemented in an R-code and one method in WinBUGs. Thes. methods.are programed for any number of groups.between two and s.x inclus.ve. All the codes.are provided in the appendices.

s.enting reduces.acute complications.and res.enos.s.compared to balloon angioplas.y and other devices. However, in- s.ent res.enos.s.(Is.) is.an important clinical problem. The current s.rial intravas.ular ultras.und (IVUs.analys.s.was.undertaken to determine whether the acute res.lts.obtained during the treatment of Is. influence the long term res.lts.and whether this.is.true for patients.treated with and without adjunct brachytherapy.
