Objective To investigate the in vivo immunomodulatory and anti-tumor mechanisms of the combined treatment of novel Four-Herb formula(4HF)and doxorubicin in triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC).Methods Murine-derived triple-negative mammary carcinoma cell line,4T1 cells,was cultured and inoculated into mouse mammary ***-six mice were randomly assigned into 6 groups(n=11 in ench):naive,control,LD 4HF(low dose 4HF),HD 4HF(high dose 4HF),LD 4HF+D(low dose and doxorubicin),and D(doxorubicin).Apart from the naive group,each mouse received subcutaneous inoculation with 5×10^(5)4T1 cells resuspended in 100µL of normal saline in the mammary fat *** from the day of tumor cell inoculation,tumors were grown for 6 *** LD and HD groups received daily oral gavage of 658 and 2,630 mg/kg 4HF,*** LD 4HF+D group received daily oral gavage of 658 mg/kg 4HF and weekly intraperitoneal injection of doxorubicin(5 mg/kg).The D group received weekly intraperitoneal injections of doxorubicin(5 mg/kg).The treatment naive mice received daily oral gavage of 0.2 mL double distilled water and 0.1 mL normal saline via intraperitoneal injection once a *** control group received daily oral gavage of 0.2 mL double-distilled *** treatment period was 30 *** the end of treatment,mice organs were harvested to analyze immunological activities via immunophenotyping,gene and multiplex analysis,histological staining,and gut microbiota *** Mice treated with the combination of 4HF and doxorubicin resulted in significantly reduced tumor and spleen burdens(ppoxia and overall immune lymphocyte landscape,and manipulated gut microbiota to favor the anti-tumor immunological ***,immunosuppressive genes,cytokines,and chemokines such as C-C motif chemokine 2 and interleukin-10 of tumors were significantly downregulated(p<0.05).4HF-doxorubicin combination treatment demonstrated synergetic activities and was most effective

Findings Associated with pulmonary Hypertension: CT Angiography Based Study

pulmonary hypertension (pH) is a complex disorder and may be related to a variety of diseases. It may arise in association with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEpH) or pulmonary embolism (pE). Knowledge of the radiological features is required to characterize and accurately diagnose the conditions and may improve the outcome. This study was designed to evaluate the clinical characteristics and the computerized tomography angiography findings in patients with pH, pE and CTEpH. Contrast-enhanced CT scans were acquired in 55 Sudanese patients with pE, 20 patients with pH, 25 patients with CTEpH and 50 normal subjects who were considered as control group. The CT diagnostic criteria for all cases were characterized. The clinical signs, parenchymal abnormalities, pulmonary tree and cardiac segments in all groups were characterized and compared with the control group. The results showed that the most common clinical characteristics were found to be chest pain, dyspnea, lower limb swelling, tachycardia and syncope which were correlated significantly with the presence of the disease. In all patients groups, the pulmonary vascular segments, cardiac segments and lung parenchyma changes were detected and were significantly different from the normal control subjects at p ≤ 0.01. It was found that CT angiography has a significant role in the diagnostic evaluation of these groups of patients. CT imaging is acceptably used in diagnosis, defining cause, quantifying heart segments and parenchyma changes in order to assess the feasibility of surgery, monitoring and therapeutic planning.

Corn production for Silage Subjected to potassium Fertilization and Water Depths

This study was carried out with the objective of evaluating the effect of water depths and potassium fertilizer levels on corn yield for silage. The experimental design was a randomized block design in a split-plot with six water depths based on crop potential evapotranspiration (ETcp) in levels: 0.25;0.50;0.75;1.00;1.25 and 1.50 ETcp, and six amounts of potassium, 0, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 kg·hap>-1p>, in four replicates. The irrigation system was dripped. Before sowing was applied to the soil to nitrogen (N) and phosphate (p) fertilizers, corn was sown ten days after the fertilization using seeds from hybrid AG 1051. Manual harvesting of ears occurred 67 days after sowing. production variables observed were fresh matter of plant with (FpMwiths) and without (FpMwithouts) the ears. The fresh matter of plant with and without the ears was influenced significantly by factors analyzed, the 1% level of probability by F test. The water depths in irrigation that maximized the physiological parameters of plants as FpMwiths and FpMwithouts were, respectively, 690 mm and 766.7 mm. The quantitative potassium to maximize physiological parameters of FMp with ears and FMp without ears was, respectively, 104.75 kg hap>-1p> and 52.1 kg hap>-1p>.

Macronutrients Omission in the Growth of Cotton, BRS Topázio Cultivar Grown in Nutritious Solution

With the objective to determine the probable causes of the appearance of abnormalities in BRS Topázio cotton plants, a greenhouse experiment was carried out per subtraction, in which nutrients were omitted: N, p, K, Ca, Mg and S, totalizing 21 experimental units. The omission of N, p, K and Ca in the nutrient solution reduced the biometric characteristics of the cotton crop, with K and Ca being the most affected by these characteristics. The visual symptoms in cotton plants are seen with more severity in the lack of K, p, K Ca and Mg elements. The omission of S did not affect the development of the plants.

Effect of Mineral Fertilization and Irrigation on Sunflower Yields

Among the cultures used for the production of biofuels, the sunflower is one of the most important. Although some information exists, the water and nutritional needs of sunflower in the north east of Brazil are not well known. To fill knowledge gaps, an experiment was carried out to evaluate the effect of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (p), potassium (K) fertilization and available soil water (ASW) on sunflower yields. The sunflower cultivar Embrapa 122-V2000 was subjected to 44 treatments on a completely randomized design generated by the Baconian Matrix with four rates of N (0, 60, 80 and 100 kg·ha-1), four rates of p2O5 (0, 80, 100 and 120 kg·ha-1), four rates of K2O (0, 80, 100 and 120 kg·ha-1), and four available soil water (ASW) levels (55%, 70%, 85% and 100%) replicated three times. Urea was used as a source of N, triple super phosphate as p and potassium chloride as K. In all the experimental units was applied 2 kg·B·ha-1 as boric acid. The components of production evaluated were dry matter of the head, total number of achenes, total achenes’ weight and 1000 achenes’ weight. The results of this research showed that nitrogen had a significant effect on the dry matter of the head, total number of achenes and total achenes’ weight. phosphorus affected all production components and potassium affected the total number and the weight of achenes. With the exception of the 1000 achenes’ weight, all the production components of the sunflower increased with the increased ASW level influenced significantly at 0.01 level of probably the total number of achenes. The highest rates of N, p and K (100, 120 and 120 kg·ha-1, respectively) and 100% of available soil water produced the highest production.

Dry Matter production and Nutritional Status of Sunflower Grown in Nutrient Solution under Macronutrient Omission

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of omission of macronutrients on dry matter production and on the nutritional status of sunflower cv. BRS 122. The experiment was carried out in a greenhouse, in randomized blocks, with seven treatments corresponding to the Hoagland & Arnon standard solution (1950) and the individual omission of N, p, K, Ca, Mg and S, in three replicates. After 50 days of sowing, the dry matter and the nutritional status of the plants were evaluated. The omission of N, p, K, Ca, Mg and S limited the dry mass production of sunflower cv. BRS 122 in relation to the complete solution, besides causing nutritional imbalance due to the interaction between the nutrients. The omission of the macronutrients K, Ca, and Mg caused the higher imbalances in the plants, highlighting the elevated N contents in these treatments comparing to the complete solution.

Biometry and Water Consumption of Sunflower as Affected by NpK Fertilizer and Available Soil Water Content under Semiarid Brazilian Conditions

The present study evaluated the effect of NpK fertilization and available soil water levels on the biometric response and water use of sunflower cv. Embrapa 122-V2000. The experiment was conducted at the Agricultural Engineering Department of the Federal University of Campina Grande, paraiba State, Brazil, during 2009 and 2010, in a semi-controlled greenhouse using the Eutrofic Regosol. The treatments were defined according to a Baconian matrix, with eleven doses of the nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium and four available soil water levels. The experiment was arranged in a complete randomized design, with three replicates, in a total of 132 sample units. No effect of N and K was observed on plant height. However, it increased significantly with p levels. The stem diameter and the leaf area were affected by the N and K and not by the p. The number of leaves increased significantly with the amount of N, p and K fertilizer. Available soil water content increased significantly in all the variables studied. The best sunflower performance and water consumption were obtained with the 100:120:120 kg·ha-1 NpK and 100% of the available soil water content treatment.

今天,利比里亚教育部门面临的一个主要挑战是缺乏接受过良好训练、高效和以结果为导向的教师。从学生在公共或国家考试中表现的影响逐渐减弱这一现象可以证实这种令人震惊的情况在利比里亚的教育系统中仍然普遍存在,学生的学习结果不如人意。此外,学校的扩张进一步增加了对接受过训练的教师的需求,即使在城市地区也不例外。基于对教学空缺的考虑,教师的选聘没有经过彻底的筛选。因此,教育部制定的招聘标准并不严格,学校管理人员难以确保在选聘教师接受过良好训练、高效并以结果为导向,便导致全国各地都有不合格的教师。尽管不能过分强调教师对学生学习结果影响的重要性,但关于建立有效学校制度,特别是提高学生学习结果的讨论一直强调需要高效的并理解学生的教师。高效的教师是提升学校学生成绩的主导因素,教师素质对学生结果的影响进一步扩充了对高素质教师的需求。本研究采用定量和定性相结合的方法,利用问卷调查法在贝恩加尔区的41所公立初级中学收集数据。本研究根据Alan和Emma设计调查问卷,利用分层抽样法在农村和城市中学收集样本,收集样本量为330。本研究基于两种理论基础,即人力资本理论和教育过程理论。在探讨学生、教师的各个方面与他们的有效性衡量之间的关系时,需要教师和学生的意见,基于此,本研究同时采用了调查性质的描述性研究设计。研究发现,教师经验和专业发展与农村学校学生的教师效能呈正相关。通过探讨基于学生成绩所产生的教师质量对教师效率的影响,引发了关于本研究关于如何吸引、培养和留住利比里亚广大农村和边缘化地区高质量教师的进一步思考。此外,即使本研究缺乏丰富的数据支撑,但在一定程度上能够为提高发展中国家的教师效能研究（TER）做出贡献。本研究结果对国家政府,政策制定者和其他可能认为研究对他们的工作有用的个人或群体可能有所裨益,并获取一些提高教师效率的建议。

A prospective double-blind study was performed to determine if Western blot detection of p34H, a sperm protein of epididymal origin that is involved in the binding to the zona pellucida, is predictive of standard IVF outcome. Our results demonstrate that the proportion of positive p34H cases that produced embryos in vitro clearly differs from caseswith undetectable levels of p34H (p < .001).
