Present study describes the development of a rapid, sensitive and selective flow injection analysis of hydrazine in the aqueous streams of purex process by liquid chromatography system coupled with UV-Visible detector. The method is based on the formation of yellow coloured azine complex by reaction of hydrazine with para-dimethy laminobenzaldehyde (pDMAB). The formed yellow coloured complex is stable in acidic medium and has a maximum absorption at 460 nm. The presence of uranium in hydrazine solution is not interfering in the analysis. Under optimum condition, the absorption intensity linearly increased with the concentration of hydrazine in the range from 0.05-10 mg?L–1 with a correlation coefficient of R2=0.9999 (n=7). The experimental detection limit is 0.05mgL–1. The sampling frequency is 15 samples h–1 and the relative standard deviation was 2.1% for 0.05 mg?L–1. This method is suitable for automatic and continuous analysis and successfully applied to determine the concentration of hydrazine in the aqueous stream of nuclear fuel reprocessing.

In recent time, data analysis using machine learning accelerates optimized solutions on clinical healthcare systems. The machine learning methods greatly offer an efficient prediction ability in diagnosis system alternative with the clinicians. Most of the systems operate on the extracted features from the patients and most of the predicted cases are accurate. However, in recent time, the prevalence of COVID-19 has emerged the global healthcare industry to find a new drug that suppresses the pandemic outbreak. In this paper, we design a Deep Neural Network(DNN)model that accurately finds the protein-ligand interactions with the drug used. The DNN senses the response of protein-ligand interactions for a specific drug and identifies which drug makes the interaction that combats effectively the virus. With limited genome sequence of Indian patients submitted to the GIsAID database, we find that the DNN system is effective in identifying the protein-ligand interactions for a specific drug.

This paper deals with the technology of using comb filters for FIR Decimation in Digital signal Processing. The process of decreasing the sampling frequency of a sampled signal is called decimation. In the usage of decimating filters, only a portion of the out-of-pass band frequencies turns into the pass band, in systems wherein different parts operate at different sample rates. A filter design, tuned to the aliasing frequencies all of which can otherwise steal into the pass band, not only provides multiple stop bands but also exhibits computational efficiency and performance superiority over the single stop band design. These filters are referred to as multiband designs in the family of FIR filters. The other two special versions of FIR filter designs are Halfband and Comb filter designs, both of which are particularly useful for reducing the computational requirements in multirate designs. The proposed method of using Comb FIR decimation procedure is not only efficient but also opens up a new vista of simplicity and elegancy to compute Multiplications per second (MPs) and Additions per second (APs) for the desired filter over and above the half band designs.

East Rennell of solomon Island is the first natural site under customary law to be inscribed on UNEsCO’s World Heritage *** threats due to logging,mining and agriculture led to the site being declared a World Heritage in Danger in *** East Rennell World Heritage site(ERWHs)to‘shed’its‘Danger’status the management must monitor forest cover both within and outside of *** used satellite data from multiple sources to track forest cover changes for the entire East Rennell island since 1998.95%of the island is still covered by undisturbed forests;annual average normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)for the whole island was above 0.91 in ***,vegetation cover in the island has been slowly decreasing,at a rate of–0.0011 NDVI per year between 2000 and *** decrease less pronounced inside ERWHs compared to areas *** potential threats due to forest clearing outside ERWHs remain the forest cover change from 2000 to 2015 has been below 15%.We suggest ways in which the Government of solomon Islands could use our data as well as unmanned air vehicles and field surveys to monitor forest cover change and ensure the future conservation of ERWHs.

We present a first-principles theoretical study of electric field- and straincontrolled intrinsic half-metallic properties of zigzagged aluminium nitride （A1N） nanoribbons. We show that the half-metallic property of AIN ribbons can undergo a transition into fully-metallic or semiconducting behavior with application of an electric field or uniaxial strain. An external transverse electric field induces a full charge screening that renders the material semiconducting. In contrast, as uniaxial strain varies from compressive to tensile, a spin-resolved selective self-doping increases the half-metallic character of the ribbons. The relevant strain-induced changes in electronic properties arise from band structure modifications at the Fermi level as a consequence of a spin-polarized charge transfer between p-orbitals of the N and A1 edge atoms in a spin-resolved self-doping process. This band structure tunability indicates the possibility of designing magnetic nanoribbons with tunable electronic structure by deriving edge states from elements with sufficiently different localization properties. Finite temperature molecular dynamics reveal a thermally stable half-metallic nanoribbon up to room temperature.

Functionalized exfoliated graphene oxide (EGO) for supercapacitor electrodes have been synthesized by simple chemical methods from the exfoliated graphite (EG) as precursor. structural and morphological characterizations of EGO have been carried out using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), scanning Electron Microscopy (sEM), FTIR and Raman spectroscopy. Electrochemical performance of these electrodes has been investigated using cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic charge-discharge, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The fabricated supercapacitor gave a specific capacitance of 146 Fg-1 and energy density of 20 Wh·kg-1 for a highly oxidized sample with more functional groups compared to pure, lower level oxidized and reduced samples. The single and multi layered graphene oxide sheets produced by this method have a lower degree of agglomeration. We found that the graphene oxide with functional oxygen groups of quinine type enhances the capacitance compared to other oxygen functional groups.

Electrical Discharge Machining(EDM)is a popular non-traditional machining process that is widely used due to its ability to machine hard and brittle *** does not require a cutting tool and can machine complex geometries ***,it suffers from drawbacks like a poor rate of machining and excessive tool *** this research,an attempt is made to address these issues by using an intelligent predictive model coupled global optimization approach to predict suitable combinations of input parameters(current,pulse on-time and pulse off-time)that would effectively increase the material removal rate and minimize the tool *** predictive models,which are based on the symbolic regression approach exploit the machine intelligence of Genetic Programming(GP).As compared to traditional polynomial response surface(PRs)predictive models,the GP predictive models show compactness as well as better prediction *** developed GP predictive models are deployed in conjunction with NsGA-II to predict Pareto optimal solutions.

An intense laser pulse focused onto a plasma can excite nonlinear plasma *** appropriate conditions,electrons from the background plasma are trapped in the plasma wave and accelerated to ultra-relativistic *** scheme is called a laser wakefield *** this work,we present results from a laser wakefield acceleration experiment using a petawatt-class laser to excite the wakefields as well as nanoparticles to assist the injection of electrons into the accelerating phase of the *** find that a 10-cm-long,nanoparticle-assisted laser wakefield accelerator can generate 340 pC,10±1.86 GeV electron bunches with a 3.4 GeV rms convolved energy spread and a 0.9 mrad rms *** can also produce bunches with lower energies in the 4–6 GeV range.

Investigation of optimality conditions has been one of the most interesting topics in the theory of multiobjective optimisation problems (MOP). To derive necessary optimality conditions of MOP, we consider assumptions called constraints qualifications. It is recognised that Guignard Constraint Qualification (GCQ) is the most efficient and general assumption for scalar objective optimisation problems;however, GCQ does not ensure Karush-Kuhn Tucker (KKT) necessary conditions for multiobjective optimisation problems. In this paper, we investigate the reasons behind that GCQ are not allowed to derive KKT conditions in multiobjective optimisation problems. Furthermore, we propose additional assumptions that allow one to use GCQ to derive necessary conditions for multiobjective optimisation problems. Finally, we also include sufficient conditions for multiobjective optimisation problems.

3D打印可以改变现有的生产方法,是第四次工程革命中的一项现代技术。它从成型原理上提出了分层制造、逐层叠加成型的新颖生产方法,从根本上简化了制造工艺,实现了大规模定制生产。然而,这一新技术仍存在许多问题。除了纯石墨烯外,sp^(2)碳具有好的亲水性,3D打印难度较小。sp^(2)碳还可在3D打印中的各种阶段应用。纯石墨烯的疏水性使其难以在水系介质中打印和加工。毛细管油墨的发展使得纯石墨烯的3D打印成为可能。本文综述了sp^(2)碳的3D打印技术的最新进展。首先简要概述了3D打印技术,随后概述了sp^(2)碳的3D打印及其在各种方面的应用。最后,讨论了这一新领域的发展前景和机遇。
