Past research has focused on the factors that influence liquefaction under normal shaking ***,studies on parameters that influence the reliquefaction potential of saturated deposits during repeated shaking events are *** this study,an attempt has been made to examine the influence of acceleration amplitude and shaking duration on liquefaction and reliquefaction potential under repeated shaking conditions is conducted.1-g uni-axial shaking table experiments were performed on saturated ground prepared with 40%and 60%relative *** prepared ground was subjected to alternate longer and shorter shaking durations(40 and 20 s)of repeated incremental 0.1 g,0.2 g,0.3 g and 0.4 g acceleration loading,*** variation in density,excess pore water pressure(EPWP),cyclic resistance ratio(CRR)and surface settlement were *** results showed that due to repeated incremental shaking events,reliquefaction was observed on the prepared *** longer shaking duration,the post-liquefied soil showed density improvement with improved soil ***,the application of shorter duration loading followed by longer shaking reduced the beneficial effect of density improvement by disturbing the densified *** to this,the ground was found to be more susceptible to reliquefaction in the subsequent incremental longer shaking event.

The use of prefabricated vertical drains(PVD)in liquefiable deposits is gaining attention due to enhanced ***,investigations on PVD in mitigating re-liquefaction during repeated shaking events are not *** study performed a series of shaking table experiments on untreated and PVD-treated specimens prepared with 40%and 60%relative *** sinusoidal loading was applied with an incremental peak acceleration of 0.1g,0.2g,0.3g,and 0.4g,at 5 Hz shaking frequency with 40 s *** performance of treated ground was evaluated based on the generation and dissipation of excess pore water pressure(EPWP),induced sand densification,subsidence,and cyclic stress *** addition,the strain accumulated in fresh and exhumed PVD was investigated using geotextile tensile testing apparatus aided with digital image *** evidence of pore pressure was reported up to 0.2g peak acceleration for 40%and 60%relative density *** continuous occurrence of soil densification and drainage medium restrained and delayed the generation of EPWP and expedited the dissipation *** study demonstrates PVD can mitigate re-liquefaction,without suffering from deterioration,when subjected to medium to high intense repeated shaking events.

India is currently producing crude oil from matured fields because of insufficient discoveries of new ***,in order to control the energy crisis in India,enhanced oil recovery(EOR)techniques are required to reduce the import of crude from the OPEC(Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries).This review mentions chemical EOR techniques(polymers,surfactants,alkali,nanoparticles,and combined alkali-surfactant-polymer flooding)and operations in *** EOR methods are one of the most efficient methods for oil *** efficiency is enhanced by interfacial tension(IFT)reduction using surfactants and alkali,and mobility control of injected water is done by adding a polymer to increase the volumetric sweep *** paper also reviews the current trend of chemical EOR,prospects of chemical EOR in Indian oilfields,the development of chemical EOR in India with their challenges raising with economics,and screening criteria for chemical EOR implementation on the field ***,the review gives a brief idea about chemical EOR implementation in Indian oilfields in future prospects to increase the additional oil recovery from existing depleted fields to reduce the import of crude *** outcome of this review depicts all chemical EOR operations and recovery rates both at the laboratory scale and field scale around the *** additional recovery rates are compared from various chemical EOR methods like conventional chemical flooding methods and conventional chemicals combined with nanoparticles on a laboratory *** development of chemical EOR in the past few decades and the EOR policy given by the government of India has been mentioned in this *** analysis provides an idea about enhanced recovery screening and implementation of chemical EOR methods in existing fields will significantly reduce the energy crisis in India.

Root-cause identification plays a vital role in business decision making by providing effective future directions for the *** extraction and sentiment extraction plays a vital role in identifying the *** paper proposes the Ensemble based temporal weighting and pareto ranking(ETP)model for Root-cause *** extraction is performed based on rules and is followed by opinion identification using the proposed boosted ensemble *** obtained aspects are validated and ranked using the proposed aspect weighing ***-rule based aspect selection is performed as the final selection mechanism and the results are presented for business decision *** were performed with the standard five product benchmark *** on all five product reviews indicate the effective performance of the proposed *** are performed using three standard state-of-the-art models and effectiveness is measured in terms of F-Measure and Detection *** results indicate improved performances exhibited by the proposed model with an increase in F-Measure levels at 1%–15%and detection rates at 4%–24%compared to the state-of-the-art models.

A transformer is an essential but expensive power delivery equipment for a distribution *** many distribution utilities worldwide,a sizable percentage of transformers are near the end of their designed *** the same time,distribution utilities are adopting smart inverter-based distributed solar photovoltaic(SPV)systems to maximize renewable *** central objective of this paper is to propose a methodology to quantify the effect of smart inverter-based distributed SPV systems on the aging of distribution *** proposed method is first tested on a modified IEEE-123 node distribution *** that,the procedure is applied to a practical distribution system,i.e.,the Indian Institute of Technology(IIT)Roorkee campus,*** transformer aging models,alongside advanced control functionalities of grid-tied smart inverter-based SPV systems,are implemented in *** open-source simulation tool(OpenDSS)is used to model distribution *** analyze effectiveness of various inverter functionalities,time-series simulations are performed using exponential load models,considering daily load curves from multiple seasons,load types,current harmonics,*** show replacing a traditional inverter with a smart inverter-based SPV system can enable local reactive power generation and may extend the life of a distribution *** results demonstrate,simply by incorporating smart inverter-based SPV systems,transformer aging is reduced by 15%to 22%in comparison to SPV systems operating with traditional inverters.

Background Optimal gut health is important to maximize growth performance and feed efficiency in broiler chickens.A total of 1,365 one-day-old male Ross 308 broiler chickens were randomly divided into 5 treatments groups with 21 replicates,13 birds per *** present research investigated effects of microbial muramidase or a precision glycan alone or in combination on growth performance,apparent total tract digestibility,total blood carotenoid content,intestinal villus length,meat quality and gut microbiota in broiler *** included:NC:negative control(basal diet group);PC:positive control(basal diet+0.02%probiotics);MR:basal diet+0.035%microbial muramidase;PG:basal diet+0.1%precision glycan;and MRPG:basal diet+0.025%MR+0.1%PG,*** MRPG group increased the body weight gain and feed intake(P<0.05)compared with NC ***,it significantly increased total serum carotenoid(P<0.05)and MRPG altered the microbial diversity in ileum *** MRPG treatment group increased the abundance of the phylum Firmicutes,and family Lachnospiraceae,Ruminococcaceae,Oscillospiraceae,Lactobacillaceae,Peptostreptococcaceae and decreased the abundance of the phylum Campilobacterota,Bacteroidota and family *** with the NC group,the chickens fed MRPG showed significantly increased in duodenum villus length at end the *** In this study,overall results showed that the synergetic effects of MR and PG showed enhancing growth performance,total serum carotenoid level and altering gut microbiota composition of *** current research indicates that co-supplementation of MR and PG in broiler diets enhances intestinal health,consequently leading to an increased broiler production.

This article demonstrates the fabrication of organic-based devices using a low-cost solution-processable technique.A blended heterojunction of chlorine substituted 2D-conjugated polymer PBDB-T-2Cl,and PC71BM supported nanocapsules hy-drate vanadium penta oxides(HVO)as hole transport layer(HTL)based photodetector fabricated on an ITO coated glass sub-strate under ambient *** device forms an excellent organic junction diode with a good rectification ratio of~*** device has also shown excellent photodetection properties under photoconductive mode(at reverse bias)and zero bias for green light wavelength.A very high responsivity of~6500 mA/W and high external quantum efficiency(EQE)of 1400%have been reported in the *** proposed organic photodetector exhibits an excellent response and recovery time of~30 and~40 ms,respectively.

The braking quality is considered the main execution of the adaptive control framework that impacts the vehicle safety and rides solace astoundingly notably the stopping *** research work aims to create a pattern and design of an electromechanically adjusted lever that multiplies the applied braking force depending on the inputs given by the sensors to reduce the stopping distance of the *** is carried out using two main parts of the two-wheeler vehicle:thefirst part deals with the detection of load acting on the vehicle and identifying the required braking force to be applied,and the second part deals with the micro-controller which activates the stepper motor for varying the mechanical leverage ratio from various loads on the vehicle using two actively movable *** electromechanically operated variable braking force system is developed to actuate the braking system based on the load on the *** MATLAB simulation and experimental work are carried out for various loading(driver and pillion)conditions on a *** results indicate that the proposed electronically operated braking system is more effective than the conventional braking system for various loads and vehicle ***,the stopping distance of the vehicle is decreased significantly by about 4.9%between the con-ventional braking system and the simulated proposed ***,the experi-mental results show that the stopping distance is condensed by about 4.1%.The validation between simulated and experimental results revealed a great deal with the least error percentage of about 0.8%.
