This paper presents a review of the position-sensitive detector(PsD) sensor, covering different types of PsD and recent works related to this field. Furthermore, it explains the theoretical concepts and provides information about its structure and principles of operation. Moreover, it includes the main information about the available commercial PsDs from different companies, along with a comparison between the common modules. The PsD features include high position resolution, fast response, and a wide dynamic range. These features make it suitable for various fields and applications, such as imaging, spectrometry, spectroscopy and others.

The polymer on modulating the crystal's habit is an evolving research in pharmaceutical *** study demonstrates the crystal habit modification of chlorzoxazone(CHZ)by heterogeneous crystallization(HC)in the binary solvent acetonitrile-ethanol(A-E(1:1))in the presence of polyvinylpyrrolidine(PVP)at concentrations of 0.50,0.75,and 1.00 wt%.The A-E(1:1)and PVP in HC experiments influenced to change the shape of crystals from needle to plate shape and reduced the crystal size producing a lower aspect ratio(in the range of 1.5-2.3).In the presence of PVP,the CHZ size distribution is 65-78μm which tends to enhance the powder flow-ability of CHZ crystals and as the PVP concentration increases,the nucleation rate *** solubility of size-reduced CHZ crystals at different pH is found to be improved by 1.2-1.4 ***,HC is deemed effective in modifying the physicochemical attributes of CHZ.

羧甲基纤维素水凝胶分子内含有大量的羧基和羟基官能团,能够高效吸附水体中的有机污染物,同时由于水凝胶的易回收和生物相容性,目前已被广泛应用于印染废水处理。但传统的羧甲基纤维素水凝胶制备方法存在耗时长、成本高、污染重等问题。该实验设计结合我国资源化发展和环境保护需要,以纤维素水凝胶为原料,以水代替部分传统有机溶剂,开发出一种室温下快速制备羧甲基纤维素水凝胶的绿色合成方案。合成时间从44 h缩短至约4h,制备成本降低约95%,同时减少了化学试剂的使用,避免了二次污染。实验选用典型染料亚甲基蓝作为模型污染物,考察了羧甲基纤维素水凝胶对其在不同水体环境中的吸附性能。

With increasing incidence of diabetes, use of diabetes specific nutrition supplements (DsNs) is common for better management of the disease. To study effect of 12-week DsNs supplementation on glycemic markers, anthropometry, lipid profile, sCFAs, and gut microbiome in individuals with diabetes. Markers studied were glycemic [Fasting Blood Glucose (FBG), Post Prandial Glucose (PPG), HbA1c, Incremental Area under curve (iAUC), Mean Amplitude of Glycemic Excursions (MAGE), Time in/above Range (TIR/TAR)], anthropometry [weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), waist circumference (WC)], lipid profile, diet and gut health [plasma short chain fatty acids (sCFAs)]. N = 210 adults were randomized to receive either DsNs with standard care (DsNs + sC;n = 105) or standard care alone (sC alone;n = 105). After 12 weeks, significant differences between DsNs + sC versus sC alone was observed in FBG [−3 ± 6 vs 14 ± 6 mg/dl;p = 0.03], PPG [−35 ± 9 vs −3 ± 9 mg/dl;p = 0.01], weight [−0.6 ± 0.1 vs 0.2 ± 0.1 kg;p = 0.0001], BMI [−0.3 ± 0.1 vs 0.1 ± 0.1 kg/m2;p = 0.0001] and WC [−0.3 ± 0.2 vs 0.2 ± 0.2 cm;p = 0.01]. HbA1C and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) were significantly reduced in DsNs + sC [−0.2 ± 0.9;p = 0.04 and −5 mg/dl;p = 0.03] respectively with no change in control. Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) reported significant differences between DsNs + sC versus sC alone for mean glucose [−12 ± 65 vs 28 ± 93 mg/dl;p s 7 ± 45 mg/dl;p = 0.04], TAR 250 [−3 ± 27 vs 9 ± 38 mg/dl;p = 0.05], iAUC [−192 (1.1) vs −48 (1.1) mg/dl;p = 0.03]. MAGE was significantly reduced for both DsNs + sC (−19 ± 67;p sC alone (−8 ± 70;p = 0.04), with reduction being more pronounced for DsNs + sC. Effect of surface blowing on aerodynamic characteristics of tubercled straight wing

Recent research proves that wings with leading-edge tubercles have the ability to perform efficiently in post-stall region over the conventional straight wing. Moreover, the conventional straight wing outperforms the tubercled wing at a pre-stall region which is quintessential. Even though tubercled wing offers great performance enhancement, because of the complexity of the flow, the trough region of the tubercled wing is more prone to flow separation. Henceforth, the present paper aims at surface blowing – an active flow control technique over the tubercled wing to enhance the aerodynamic efficiency by positively influencing its lift characteristics without causing any additional drag penalty. Flow parameters like blowing velocity ratios and the location of blowing were chosen to find the optimised configuration keeping the amplitude and frequency of the leading-edge tubercles constant as 0.12 c and 0.25 c respectively. Numerical investigations were carried out over the baseline tubercled wing and tubercled wing with surface blowing at various blowing jet velocity ratios 0.5, 1 and 2 over four different chordwise locations ranging from 0.3 c to 0.8 *** results confirm that blowing at various x/c with different blowing velocity ratios performs better than the conventional tubercled wing. Comparatively, blowing velocity ratio 2 at 0.3 c shows peak performance of about 28% enhancement in the lift characteristics relative to the baseline model. Particularly, in the pre-stall region, 25–50% increase in aerodynamic efficiency is evident over the tubercled wing with surface blowing compared with the baseline case. Additionally,attempts were made to delineate the physical significance of the flow separation mechanism due to blowing by visualizing the streamline pattern.

In this work, uranine-dyed zinc（tris） thiourea sulfate（ZTs） monocrystals, 26 mm×15 mm×10 mm in size, were synthesized by the solution method at ambient temperature. Their purity, crystallinity, lattice parameters, and functional modes were studied by x-ray diffraction, Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy（FT-IR）, and FT-Raman spectroscopy analyses. The sodium ion content of the crystals from the dye was confirmed by elemental analysis. The diffused reflectance spectral analysis of the dyed crystal revealed a characteristic absorption band at 490 nm attributed to the presence of the dye. The calculated band gaps of the non-dyed and dyed crystals were 4.53 and 4.57 e V, respectively. A green emission peak at ～（512 ± 4） nm was observed in the photoluminescence spectrum of the uranine-dyed crystals. A differential scanning calorimetry study confirmed that the thermal stability improved owing to the addition of the dye. Dielectric and microhardness studies were conducted to examine the significant improvements in the corresponding properties of dyed crystals. The results demonstrated the competency of the dyed ZTs crystals for applications in optoelectronic devices.
