Location information plays an important role in most of the applications in Wireless Sensor Network(WSN).Recently,many localization techniques have been proposed,while most of these deals with two Dimensional ***,in Three Dimensional applications the task is complex and there are large variations in the altitude *** these 3D environments,the sensors are placed in mountains for tracking and deployed in air for monitoring pollution *** such applications,2D localization models are not *** to this,the design of 3D localization systems in WSNs faces new *** this paper,in order to find unknown nodes in Three-Dimensional environment,only single anchor node is *** the simulation-based environment,the nodes with unknown locations are moving at middle&lower layers whereas the top layer is equipped with single anchor node.A novel soft computing technique namely Adaptive Plant Propagation Algorithm(APPA)is introduced to obtain the optimized locations of these mobile *** target nodes are heterogeneous and deployed in an anisotropic environment having an Irregularity(Degree of Irregularity(DOI))value set to *** simulation results present that proposed APPAalgorithm outperforms as tested among other meta-heuristic optimization techniques in terms of localization error,computational time,and the located sensor nodes.

Ploughing and fertilization practices in rice-wheat system have deteriorated the soil carbon (C) pools. Conservation agriculture (CA) based management approaches have proven to enhance C sequestration and reverse the loss of soil-organic-carbon (SOC), which further enhances soil fertility. Different fractions of SOC pools react to the alterations in management practices and indicate changes in SOC dynamics as compared to total C in the soil. Higher SOC levels in soil have been observed in case of reduced/no-till (NT) practices than conventional tillage (CT). However, between CT and zero tillage/NT, total SOC stocks diminished with an increase in soil depth, which demonstrated that the benefits of SOC are more pronounced in the topsoil under NT. Soil aggregation provides physical protection to C associated with different-sized particles, thus, the improvement in soil aggregation through CA is an effective way to mitigate soil C loss. Along with less soil disturbance, residual management, suitable crop rotation, rational application of manures and fertilizers, and integrated nutrient management have been found to be effective in not only improving soil C stock but also enhancing the soil health and productivity. Thus, CA can be considered as a potential method in the build-up of SOC of soil in rice-wheat system.

Estimating Optimal Location of STATCOM and Minimization of Congestion Cost by Locational Marginal Price Using Flower Pollination， and Particle Swarm Optimization Techniques

Restructuring of power market not only introduces competition， but also brings complexity which increases overloading of Transmission Lines (TL). To obliviate this complexity， this paper aims to mitigate the overloading and estimate the optimal location of Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) by reducing congestion for a deregulated power system. The proposed method is based on the use of Locational Marginal Price (LMP) difference technique and congestion cost. LMPs are obtained as a by-product of Optimal Power Flow (OPF)， whereas Congestion Cost (CC) is a function of difference in LMP and power flows. An endeavor is justified by reducing the CCand solution space which can identify the TLs more suitable for placement of STATCOM. Importantly， total real power loss， reactive power loss and total CCare the three main objective functions in this optimization process. The process is implemented by developing an IEEE-69 bus test system which verifies and validates the effectiveness of proposed optimization technique. Additionally， a comparative analysis is enumerated by implementing two optimization techniques: Flower Pollination Algorithm (FPA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). The comparative analysis is sufficient to demonstrate the superiority of FPA technique over PSO technique in estimating an optimal placement of a STATCOM. The results from the load-flow analysis illustrate the reduction in CC， total real and reactive power loss using FPA technique over PSO technique. Overall， satisfactory results are obtained without using complex calculations which verify the effectiveness of optimization techniques.

Selecting incision-dominant cases for robotic liver resection:towards outpatient hepatectomy with rapid recovery

Background:The premise of minimally invasive surgery(MIS)is to minimize facial and muscle injury in order to enhance recovery from *** MIS surgery for resection of tumors in solid organs is gaining traction,though clear superiority of this approach is lacking and robotic surgery is more *** philosophy in robotically-assisted hepatectomy has been to employ this approach for cases where location of tumors make difficult a classical laparoscopic approach(superior/posterior tumors),and cases where the incision for an open operation dominates the course of ***:This is a retrospective review of a prospectively collected ***:In this study we report 97 cases of liver resection subjected to the robotic approach,of which 90%were resected *** mean operative time was 186±9 min;mean blood loss was 111±15 mL,and complications occurred in 9%.Two thirds of the patients remained in hospital 3 days or less,including three patients subjected to hemihepatectomy(2 left and 1 right).Fourteen individuals were discharged on the same *** strongest predictors of long hospital stay(>3 days)were major hepatectomy(P=0.007),complications(P=0.008),and operative time>210 min(P=0.001).Conclusions:With thoughtful case selection,this is a first demonstration that hepatectomy can be conducted as an out-patient or short-stay procedure.

A prognostic nomogram for patients with resected fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma

Background: Fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma (FLHC) is a unique entity compared to conventional hepatocellular carcinoma. The aim of this study was to examine post-resection outcomes and prognostic indicators for survival in this group of FLHC patients. Methods: A retrospective analysis of the National Cancer Database (NCDB) for patients with FLHC who underwent resection from 2004 to 2014 was performed. Univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazard models were used to identify factors associated with overall survival, and a prognostic nomogram was generated. Results: There were 197 patients identified, 171 (86.8%) of whom had long-term follow-up data. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed using patient and tumor demographics with the outcome variable of overall survival. On multivariate analysis, age [hazard ratio (HR) 1.03, P=0.003], vascular invasion (HR 1.75, P=0.05), tumor size >7 cm (HR 2.18, P=0.044), multifocal disease (HR 3.34, P=0.002), and node positive (pN+) disease (HR 2.75, P=0.003) were all negative predictors of overall survival. A prognostic nomogram was generated using these factors with a c-statistic superior to that of American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) staging (0.710 vs. 0.654). Conclusions: Independent predictors of decreased overall survival in patients with FLHC include age, vascular invasion, tumor size >7 cm, multifocal disease, and pN+ disease. This is the first study to develop a nomogram exclusively for FLHC that may predict survival in future studies.

Response of hydrogenase enzymes (ALDH and ADH) in <i>Trapa natans</i>under physiological stress

The present study screens activity of different enzymes in Trapa natans under aerobic and anaerobic physiological conditions. Experimental analysis was carried out to assay the activities of ALDH and ADH in the seed extract of T. natans. These enzymes are associated with the alcohol metabolism of the T. natans. It was observed that a metabolic pathway shifts from aerobic respiration to anaerobic fermentation under anoxic conditions. Physiological stress related response in trapa seeds gives the leads to understand the other model for better fermentable products. During the experiment it was found that there is difference between the concenteration of enzymes in anaerobic and aerobic conditions. Concentration was check with the help of spectrophotometer at 340 nm.

Orofacial trauma in rural India： A clinical study

Purpose： Orofacial trauma is becoming a leading medical problem worldwide. Most of the studies pertaining to orofacial trauma have been done in urban areas but very little scientific literature is available for rural areas. Methods： A prospective medical institute-based study of orofacial injury patients was carried out from May 2013 to April 2016 （36 Months）. Data regarding incidence, age and sex distribution, causes, types and site of injury, treatment modalities and trauma associated complications were collected and analysed. Results： A total of 784 patients were studied. Males outnumbered females by a ratio of 2.9：1. Age range was 9 monthse75 years with the peak incidence in the age-group of 18-34 years. Most injuries were caused by road-side accidents （72.7%）, followed by assault and falls in 11.6% and 8% respectively. Soft tissue injuries and mandibular fractures were the most common type of injuries. Head/neck （50.29%） and limb injuries （27.2%） were the most prevalent associated injuries. Surgical debridement and soft tissue suturing was the most common emergency procedure. Closed reduction was performed in 61% of patients and open reduction and internal fixation in 30% of cases and 9% were managed conservatively. Complications occurred in 6.88% of patients, mainly due to infection and malocclusion. The mean duration of hospital stay was （10.12 ± 6.24） days. Conclusion： This study highlights the importance of department of dental surgery along with other disciplinaries in the management of orofacial injuries. Road-side accident remains the major etiological factor of orofacial injuries in our setting.

Trend Analysis of Three Major Mosquito Borne Diseases in Punjab, India

Background & Objectives: Understanding the distribution and prevalence of three major mosquito borne diseases in an area is critical for the development of effective vector control strategies and public health interventions. The present study is therefore aimed to explore the epidemiological trend of malaria, dengue and chikungunya from 2012 to 2018 in Punjab. Methods: Quantitatively retrospective data was collected from Department of Health and Family Welfare, the National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP), Punjab from 2012 to March 2018. The collected data was statistically analysed. Results: In case of malaria highest prevalent districts in Punjab are Mansa and Bathinda, for dengue Patiala, Ludhiana and S.A.S. Nagar and Patiala for chikungunya. Malaria was reported mainly from rural areas while dengue and chikungunya were found more in urban areas. For all three mosquito borne diseases, males were infected more as compared to females. Malaria cases were reported in months of August and September while dengue cases increased from July to November whereas chikungunya cases were highest in months of August to October. Conclusions: These findings help in concluding the trend analysis which in turn helps us to increase our focus on disease endemic districts along with boosting the vector control strategies in respective districts. Further the control of these mosquito borne diseases can be solved by employing adequate human resources, by increasing awareness in the community by conducting health camps and strengthening the entomological surveillance for timely reduction in the breeding of the vectors, especially before the repeated rise in cases during the period from July to November each year.

Non-syndromic hypo-hyperdontia—A rare case report and review of literature

Abnormalities of tooth number in development of the dentition are quite common;however, concomitant hypo-hyperdontia is a rare mixed numeric anomalous condition, especially when it occurs in the same dental arch and in a non-syndromic situation. The presence of this condition specifically in the mandibular anterior region is reported very infrequently. This case report presents the case of a 9 years old non-syndromic male with missing mandibular central incisors and an erupted mandibular mesiodens along with the review of literature. To ensure optimum function and aesthetics, cosmetic recontouring was performed after oral prophylaxis. This is the ninth case reported in the dental literature till date, with the two anomalies manifesting in the anterior region of the mandible. This article also discusses the review of literature of concomitant hypo-hyperdontia.
