N^(6)-Methyladenosine(m^(6)A)RNA modification brings a new dawn for RNA modification researches in recent *** posttranscriptional RNA modification is dynamic and reversible,and is regulated by methylases(“writers”),demethylases(“erasers”),and proteins that preferentially recognize m^(6)A modifications(“readers”).The change of RNA m^(6)A modification regulates RNA metabolism in eucaryon,including translation,splicing,exporting,decay,and *** the dysregulation ofm^(6)A may lead to tumorigenesis and *** the tumorigenic role of abnormalm^(6)A expression,m^(6)A regulators may function as potential clinical therapeutic targets for *** this review,we emphasize on the underlying mechanisms of m^(6)A modifications in tumorigenesis and further introduce the potential m^(6)A regulators-associated therapeutic targets for tumor therapy.

背景新辅助免疫治疗在局部晚期非小细胞肺癌（non-small cell lung cancer, NSCLC）的应用仍存在争议。因此，本研究旨在报道通过免疫联合化疗将初始不可切除c IIIB期NSCLC患者转化为根治性微创手术的系列病例，评估手术效果和术后的生存获益。方法回顾性分析2018年5月-2020年8月期间接受程序性细胞死亡受体1(programmed cell death-1,PD-1)抑制剂联合含铂双药化疗的51例c IIIB期NSCLC患者。收集入组患者手术相关数据和肿瘤相关数据。结果31例患者最终接受手术治疗，其中23例（74.2%）患者行肺叶切除术，1例（3.2%）患者行全肺切除术，5例（16.1%）患者行袖状肺叶切除术，2例（6.5%）患者行双肺叶切除术。中位手术时间为205 min（范围100-520），平均失血量为185 m L（范围10-1100）。15例患者出现致密粘连或纤维化。术后平均住院时间为6 d（范围3-13）。无手术相关死亡，仅5例（16.1%）患者发生术后并发症（无3级以上并发症）。10例（32.3%）患者达到主要病理缓解，22/31例（71.0%）患者出现纵隔病变降期。中位随访15.4个月，31例手术患者的中位无进展生存期/无病生存期（progression-free survival/disease-free survival, PFS/DFS）相对于未进行手术的无缓解或缓解的患者（分别为27.5个月vs 4.7个月vs 16.7个月）更长。结论初始不可切除的IIIB期NSCLC接受免疫联合化疗治疗后行根治性手术相对安全，手术相关死亡率和并发症发病率较低，与未手术患者相比DFS/PFS更长。

The bergamot （Citrus bergamia Risso et Poiteau）, a citrus fruit growing almost exclusively in the South Italy, is considered the ＂prince of citrus＂ for its storical role in the perfume industry due to its essential oil, a product in great demand of a pleasant and refreshing scent. Recently, analgesic, anxiolytic, neuroprotective consistent effects have been ascribed to bergamot essential oil when it is used in aromatherapy, for the relief of pain and symptoms associated with stress-induced anxiety and depression. Moreover, today, bergamot fruit due to a considerable abundance and variety of nutraceutical compounds which are present in its juice, is becoming increasingly important also in the food, pharmaceutical and confectionery industries. In this review, it is discussed that the literature on C. bergamia, focusing on the several studies performed with the experimental data, and recently accumulated, may form the rational basis for further development.

Renal function and physical fitness after 12-mo supervised training in kidney transplant recipients

AIM To evaluate the effect of a 12-mo supervised aerobic and resistance training, on renal function and exercise capacity compared to usual care *** Ninety-nine kidney transplant recipients(KTRs) were assigned to interventional exercise(Group A; n = 52) and a usual care cohort(Group B; n = 47). Blood and urine chemistry, exercise capacity, muscular strength, anthropometric measures and health-related quality of life(HRQo L) were assessed at baseline, and after 6 and 12 mo. Group A underwent a supervised training three times per week for 12 mo. Group B received only general recommendations about home-based physical *** Eighty-five KTRs completed the study(Group A, n = 44; Group B, n = 41). After 12 mo, renal function remained stable in both groups. Group A significantly increased maximum workload(+13 W, P = 0.0003), V'O2 peak(+3.1 mL/kg per minute, P = 0.0099), muscular strength in plantar flexor(+12 kg, P = 0.0368), height in the countermovement jump(+1.9 cm, P = 0.0293) and decreased in Body Mass Index(-0.5 kg/m^2, P = 0.0013). HRQo L significantly improved in physical function(P = 0.0019), physical-role limitations(P = 0.0321) and social functioning scales(P = 0.0346). Noimprovements were found in Group *** Twelve-month of supervised aerobic and resistance training improves the physiological variables related to physical fitness and cardiovascular risks without consequences on renal function. Recommendations alone are not sufficient to induce changes in exercise capacity of KTRs. Our study is an example of collaborative working between transplant centres, sports medicine and exercise facilities.
