This editorial commented on an article in the World Journal of Gastroenterology titled“Risks of Reactivation of Hepatitis B Virus in Oncological Patients Using Tyrosine Kinase-Inhibitors:Case Report and Literature Analysis”by Colapietro et *** this editorial,we focused on providing a more comprehensive exploration of hepatitis B virus reactivation(HBVr)associated with the usage of tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs).It includes insights into the mechanisms underlying HBV reactivation,the temporal relationship between TKIs and HBV reactivation,and preventive *** aim is to understand the need for nucleos(t)ide analogs(NAT)and serial blood tests for early recognition of reactivation and acute liver injury,along with management *** are considered to be an intermediate(1%-10%)of *** guidelines stipulate that patients receiving therapy with high or moderate risks of reactivation or recent cancer diagnosis must have at least tested hepatitis B surface antigen,anti-hepatitis B core antigen(HBc),and anti-hepatitis B surface ***-HBc screening in highly endemic areas means people with negative tests should be vaccinated against *** or nucleotide analogs(NAs)like entecavir(ETV),tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(TDF),and tenofovir alafenamide(TAF)form the basis of HBV reactivation prophylaxis and treatment during ***,lamivudine,telbivudine,and adefovir are generally discouraged due to their reduced antiviral efficacy and higher risk of fostering drug-resistant viral ***,these less effective NAs may still be utilized in cases where ETV,TDF,and TAF are not feasible treatment options.

2019年6月,Facebook发布了加密货币Libra计划及白皮书,旨在建立一套简单的、无国界的货币和为全球用户服务的金融基础设施。理论上,这一计划将为发展中国家中的数十亿人提供便捷的金融服务,但也对各国的金融主权提出了挑战。玻利维亚中央银行(BCB)负责制定并执行国家的货币政策,实行金融监管。玻利维亚诺是该国唯一使用的货币,国内的支付方式为:现金、借记卡和信用卡、电子转帐和支票。玻利维亚作为世界上影子经济最为繁荣的国家之一,超过80%的人口从事非正规业务,而玻利维亚的金融科技基础薄弱,现金为主要的支付方式。因此,Libra的Techfin生态系统可能会严重威胁玻利维亚现有的经济体系。基于Libra对玻利维亚可能产生的威胁与挑战,本文运用PEST分析,从影响和不确定性两个维度评估了相关影响因素,并提出了三种可能情况:玻利维亚出台法规禁止金融机构参与Libra的生态系统;Libra进入玻利维亚经济,但BCB拥有一个可以垄断在线银行和互联网金融业务的与Libra竞争的虚拟对手;BCB创建一个中央银行数字货币(CBDC)授权给未能获得金融服务的人群,并同时禁止Libra的使用。基于PEST分析以及相关情况预测,为有效应对Libra对玻利维亚的可能影响,论文提出了两项应对策略:一是禁止Libra在国内运行,然而玻利维亚需积极应对金融科技和监管方面的挑战。第二是玻利维亚在十年内需自主开发一个中央银行数字货币以应对挑战。

The recovering logged-over forest ecosystem increases the CO2 efflux into the atmospheric carbon pool in response to environmental factors to changes in the soil temperature and moisture. These CO2 outbursts can have a marked influence on the ecosystem carbon balance and thereby affect the atmospheric carbon pool. The study was conducted in the 10-year-old logged-over forest of Sungai Menyala forest, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The measurements of soil CO2 efflux were conducted using the continuous open flow chamber technique connected to a multi gas-handling unit and infrared CO2/H2O gas analyser. The aim of this study was to determine the soil CO2 efflux and the environmental variables and likewise the impact of environmental factors on soil CO2 efflux. Post-hoc comparisons were made using the Tukey test （p 〈 0.05）, and multiple linear regression to determine the impact of environmental factors on soil CO2 efflux. Soil CO2 efflux ranged from 100.22-553.40 mg m^-2 h^-1 with the highest efflux in the afternoon attributed to an increase in soil temperature and low moisture. A higher soil temperature and low moisture signify an influential factor as the forest is recovering from logging activity. Furthermore, the predictor environmental variables： SOC （soil organic carbon）, TOC （total organic carbon）, SMC （soil moisture content）, Bulk Density, SOCstock （soil organic carbon stock）, TAGB （total above ground carbon biomass）, Below Ground Carbon Biomass, soil pH, Nitrogen to Carbon ratio account for the spatial and temporal variation in soil CO： efflux into the atmosphere. The analysis revealed a strong correlation between soil CO2 efflux, changes soil properties and environmental factors with an R^2 more than 0.80 at p 〈 0.01. This is proven that logging activity accounts for the changes in environmental factors to influence soil CO2 efflux rate within 10-years of logging and forest recovering.

From single to combinatorial therapies in spinal cord injuries for structural and functional restoration

Spinal cord injury results in paralysis, sensory disturbances, sphincter dysfunction, and multiple systemic secondary conditions, most arising from autonomic dysregulation. All this produces profound negative psychosocial implications for affected people, their families, and their communities;the financial costs can be challenging for their families and health institutions. Treatments aimed at restoring the spinal cord after spinal cord injury, which have been tested in animal models or clinical trials, generally seek to counteract one or more of the secondary mechanisms of injury to limit the extent of the initial damage. Most published works on structural/functional restoration in acute and chronic spinal cord injury stages use a single type of treatment: a drug or trophic factor, transplant of a cell type, and implantation of a biomaterial. Despite the significant benefits reported in animal models, when translating these successful therapeutic strategies to humans, the result in clinical trials has been considered of little relevance because the improvement, when present, is usually insufficient. Until now, most studies designed to promote neuroprotection or regeneration at different stages after spinal cord injury have used single treatments. Considering the occurrence of various secondary mechanisms of injury in the acute and sub-acute phases of spinal cord injury, it is reasonable to speculate that more than one therapeutic agent could be required to promote structural and functional restoration of the damaged spinal cord. Treatments that combine several therapeutic agents, targeting different mechanisms of injury, which, when used as a single therapy, have shown some benefits, allow us to assume that they will have synergistic beneficial effects. We describe the valued gabriel quiver of a wedge product of coalgebras and study the category of comodules of a semiprime coalgebra. In particular, we prove that any monomial semiprime k-tame fc-tame coalgebra is string. We also prove a version of Eisenbud-Griffith theorem for coalgebras, namely, any hereditary semiprime strictly quasi-finite coalgebra is serial.

A case study on the efficacy of different roof bolting schemes in Lhoist North America’s Crab Orchard Mine

Roof bolting has long been used in underground mines across the world to provide ground *** roof bolts are cheap and easy to install with the use of specialized machines as a part of the production cycle. Lhoist North America’s Crab Orchard Mine is an underground room and pillar limestone mine that uses mechanically anchored roof bolts for ground support. The mine currently employs two different roof bolting patterns: a standard 1.5 × 1.5 m pattern, and another 0.8 × 0.8 m pattern for use in areas with particularly hazardous roof conditions. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relative effectiveness of each bolting pattern. A series of numerical models were created using Roc Science’s RS2. The models were based on a symmetrical section of the mine at its deepest point, and were modeled using generalized Hoek-Brown failure criterion along with a discrete fracture network. A series of sensitivity analyses were performed on the models by varying parameters such as joint friction angle, crack persistence, joint randomization, and tensile strength of the limestone. Based on the results of the original models and sensitivity analyses, it appeared that the standard bolting pattern provided sufficient roof support capacity under almost all the expected conditions at the mine, since safety factors below the design value of 1.5 were only found for individual bolts in a few of the worst test cases *** results can help improve the mine’s productivity and reduce operating costs without compromising safety.

Buildings represent a large part in terms of fossil energy consumption,which depends on the great need for *** if the solar absorption heat storage system is possible,the performance of this system is affected by the cycle limits and the climatic *** goal of the present study is to control the thermal performance of the system cycle according to the imposed climatic conditions of Bucharest city,Romania,and therefore a numerical model was developed for this *** scheme and the thermodynamic cycle,the energy and mass balance equations,and the computational algorithm were *** results show that the cycle temperature increases at the end of desorption when the heating power supplied to the desorber is increased,which is also proportional to the drop in temperature at the beginning of the *** temperature at the end of absorption and the mass flow rates of the solution have a significant effect on the thermal power released from the absorber and used to heat the *** an average daily heat power of 1.35 kW/m^(2) and 10 hours per day of heating the building,the system with a solar collector area of 3 m^(2) has the capacity of heat supply for all the cold ***,an economic strategy remains necessary.
