Free and steady-state forced longitudinal vibrations of non-uniform rods are investi- gated by an iteration method, which results in a series solution. The series obtained are convergent and linearly independent. Its convergence is verified by convergence tests, its linear independence confirmed by the nonzero value of the corresponding Wronski determinant. Then, the solution obtained is an exact one reducible to a classical solution for the case of uniform rods. In order to verify the method, two examples are presented as an application of the proposed method. The results obtained are equivalent to the method in literature. In contrast to the proposed method ca- pable of dealing with arbitrary non-uniform rods in principle, the method in literature is confined to work on special cases.

Two thermomechanical coupled elastic-plastic finite element （FE） models were developed for predicting the 12-pass continuous rolling process of GCrl 5 rod and wire steel. The distances between stands in the proposed models were set according to the actual values, and the billets were shortened in the models to reduce the calculation time. To keep the continuity of simulation, a technique was developed to transfer temperature data between the meshes of different models in terms of nodal parameters by interpolation functions. The different process variables related to the rolling process, such as temperature, total equivalent plastic strain, equivalent plastic strain rate, and contact friction force, were analyzed. Also, the proposed models were applied to analyze the reason for the occurrence of an excessive spread in width. Meanwhile, it was also utilized to assess the influence of the roll diameter change on the simulated results such as temperature and rolling force. The simulated results of temperature are found to agree well with the measured results.

Three-dimensional finite element models were developed to analyze 304 stainless steel rod and wire hot continuous rolling process with the help of *** software. The entire 30-pass deformation process and the actual parameters of production line were taken into account. Static and dynamic procedures were used to study the continuous rolling process with the aid of the thermo-mechanical coupled FEM of elastic-plasticity. The properties of billets, such as deformation, temperature field and rolling force, were mainly discussed. The simulation results of temperature agree well with the measured values. Comparisons of the analysis results obtained using static implicit method and dynamic implicit method were presented. It is shown that static implicit procedure is more accurate than dynamic implicit procedure and is able to simulate the rolling process with a lower speed, such as a roughing mill. Whereas, dynamic analysis shows a higher efficiency than static analysis and is fit for simulating the rolling process with a higher speed, such as a finishing mill.

Cr(Ⅵ),one of the most hazardous metal pollutants,poses significant threats to the environment and human ***,a novel MoS_(2) composite(MoS_(2)/PVP/PAM)modified by polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)and polyacrylamide(PAM)was synthesized to enhance the removal of Cr(Ⅵ).Characterization analysis including SEM,XRD,FTIR,and XPS indicated that PVP and PAM could increase the interlayer spacing and the dispersibility of MoS_(2),and introduce pyrrolic N and amino functional *** batch experiments showed that MoS_(2)/PVP/PAM represented excellent Cr(Ⅵ)removal performance over a wide p H range,and exhibited a significantly higher maximum Cr(Ⅵ)adsorption capacity(274.73 mg/g,at p H 3.0,and 298 K)than pure MoS_(2).The adsorption of Cr(Ⅵ)followed Langmuir and pseudo-second-order kinetic model,which was a homogeneous monolayer chemisorption ***_(2)/PVP/PAM showed stable removal of Cr(Ⅵ)in the presence of humic acid(HA),interfering cations and anions at different ***,it had excellent selectivity for Cr(Ⅵ)(K_(d) value of 1.69×10^(7)m L/g)when coexisting with a variety of competing *** characterization revealed that Cr(Ⅵ)was reduced to low toxicity Cr(Ⅲ)by Mo^(4+)and S^(2-),and then chelated on the surface of the adsorbent by pyrrolic *** research expanded the design concept for MoS_(2) composites by demonstrating the potential of MoS_(2)/PVP/PAM as a promising material for selective elimination of Cr(Ⅵ)in water.

边界元方法作为一种数值方法,在各种科学工程问题中得到了广泛的应用.本文参考了边界元法的求解思路,从Somigliana等式出发,利用格林函数性质,得到了一种边界积分法,使之可以用来寻求弹性问题的解析解.此边界积分法也可以从Betti互易定理得到.应用此新方法,求解了圆形夹杂问题.首先设定夹杂与基体之间完美连接,将界面处的位移与应力按照傅里叶级数展开,根据问题的对称性与三角函数的正交性来简化假设,减少待定系数的个数.其次选择合适的试函数(试函数满足位移单值条件以及无体力的线弹性力学问题的控制方程),应用边界积分法,求得界面处的位移与应力的值.然后再求解域内位移与应力.得到了问题的精确解析解,当夹杂弹性模量为零或趋向于无穷大时,退化为圆孔或刚性夹杂问题的解析解.求解过程表明,若问题的求解区域包含无穷远处时,所取的试函数应满足无穷远处的边界条件.若求解区域包含坐标原点,试函数在原点处位移与应力应是有限的.结果表明了此方法的有效性.
