An observed nocturnal ozone transport event in the Sichuan Basin,Southwestern China

The ozone(O_(3))pollution in China drew lots of attention in recent years,and the Sichuan Basin(SCB)was one of the regions confronting worsening O_(3)pollution *** previous studies have shown that regional transport is an important contributor to O_(3)***,very few features of the O_(3)profile during transport have been reported,especially in the border regions between different administrative *** this study,we conducted tethered balloon soundings in SCB during the summer of 2020 and captured a nocturnal O_(3)transport event during the ***,the O_(3)transport occurred in the bottom of the residual layer,between 200 and 500 m above ground ***,the transport pathway was directed from southeast to northwest based on the analysis of the wind field and air mass *** effect of transport in the residual layer on the surface O_(3)concentration was related to the spatial distribution of O_(3).For cities with high O_(3)concentrations in the upwind region,the transport process would bring clean air masses and abate *** downwind lightly polluted cities,the transport process would slow down the decreasing or even increase the surface O_(3)concentration during the *** provided observational facts on the profile features of a transboundary O_(3)transport event between two provincial administrative divisions,which implicated the importance of joint prevention and control ***,the sounding parameters were limited and the quantitative analysis was preliminary,more integrated,and thorough studies of this topic were called for in the future.

A novel thermally-stable single-phase phosphor Ca2InTaO6:Dy3+ for NUV-excited white LEDs

The work focuses on the utilization of the conventional solid-state sintering procedure to synthesize white phosphors Ca2InTaO6:xDy3+（0.02≤x≤0.12）.Utilizing X-ray diffraction,the phase structure of samples was examined,and the crystal structure was refined using the Rietveld method.A scanning electron microscope was used to analyze the microstructure of ***-principles calculations confirm that the indirect bandgap of Ca2InTaO6is 3.786 eV,The luminous properties and energy transfer mechanism of Ca2InTaO6:xDy3+were studied using photoluminescence ***4F9/2→6H13/2transition of Dy3+ions is responsible for the greatest emission peak,which was measured at 575 *** to research,the lifespan falls as the concentration of Dy3+doping amount rises because of frequent interaction and ene rgy transfer between Dy3+*** correlated color temperature of the WLEDs packaged with Ca2InTaO6:0.08Dy3+is 4677 K and CIE 1931 chromaticity coordinates are（0.3578,0.3831）.Meantime,the phosphor also shows outstanding te mperature stability property,which maintains 83.8% of its initial emission intensity at 450 K（activation energy of 0.1467 eV）.The W-LEDs retain their performance for 100 min when powered at 3.4 V voltage and 600 mA current,demonstrating the packed W-LEDs' sustaine d operation at high temperatures.

Hydrogen storage thermodynamics and kinetics of as-cast Ce-Mg-Ni-based alloy

The reaction kinetics of alloys based on magnesium are known to be greatly improved by the partial substitution of Mg with rare earths and transition metals,particularly *** enhanced superficial hydrogen dissociation rate,the weakened Mg-H bond and the lower activation energy following element replacement are thought to be related to the better *** experimental alloys Ce5Mg_(95-x)Ni_(x)(x=5,10,15)were smelted by the vacuum induction *** phase transformation and structural evolution of experimental alloys before and after reaction with hydrogen were char-acterized by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron *** cast specimens contain CeMg_(12),Mg and Mg_(2)Ni phases,and the increase in Ni content results in an obvious growth of Mg_(2)Ni *** isothermal and non-isothermal hydrogenation and dehydrogenation kinetics of the experimental specimens were investi-gated using the Sievert apparatus,differential scanning calorimetry and thermal gravimetric *** activation energy may be calculated using the Arrhenius and Kissinger *** experimental alloys have been shown to have good activation properties,with a reversible hydriding and dehydriding capacities of around 5.0 wt.%in the first *** initial dehydrogenation temperature of MgH_(2) decreases from 557.5 to 537.7 K with changing Ni content from 5 to 15 at.%.The dehydrogenation activation energy also reduces from 77.09 to 62.96 kJ/mol,which explains the improved hydrogen storage performance caused by Ni *** can be shown that the impact of Ni on the decomposition enthalpy of MgH_(2) is quite modest,with the absolute enthalpy(ΔHr)only decreasing from 78.48 to 76.15 kJ/mol.

A prognosis model for predicting immunotherapy response of esophageal cancer based on oxidative stress-related signatures

Oxidative stress(OS)is intimately associated with tumorigenesis and has been considered a potential therapeutic ***,the OS-associated therapeutic target for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)remains *** our study,gene expression data of ESCC and clinical information from public databases were *** LASSO-Cox regression analysis,a risk score(RS)signature map of prognosis was constructed and performed external verification with the GSE53625 *** ESTIMATE,xCell,CIBERSORT,TIMER,and ImmuCellAI algorithms were employed to analyze infiltrating immune cells and generate an immune microenvironment(IM).Afterward,functional enrichment analysis clarified the underlying mechanism of the *** was utilized for forecasting the survival rate of individual ESCC *** a result,we successfully constructed an OS-related genes(OSRGs)model and found that the survival rate of high-risk groups was lower than that of low-risk *** AUC of the ROC verified the strong prediction performance of the signal in these two cohorts *** to independent prognostic analysis,the RS was identified as an independent risk factor for *** nomogram and follow-up data revealed that the RS possesses favorable predictive value for the prognosis of ESCC ***-PCR detection demonstrated increased expression of MPC1,COX6C,CYB5R3,CASP7,and CYCS in esophageal cancer *** conclusion,we have constructed an OSRGs model for ESCC to predict patients’prognosis,offering a novel insight into the potential application of the OSRGs model in ESCC.

Ce-modified USY zeolite catalysts for catalytic oxidation of chlorinated VOCs:Effect of the location of CeO2 and its synergistic effect with USY zeolite

The catalytic behavior of a catalyst for chlorine-containing volatile organic compounds（CVOCs） oxidation largely depends on the synergistic interaction between the oxidizing and acidic *** the present work,two catalysts with different distributions of CeO2on the inner and outer surfaces of 4.0Ce-USY-ex and 4.0Ce-USY-dp（USY zeolite） were prepared respectively by ion exchange and deposition methods,with a purpose of finding out how the location of the oxidation sites（CeO2） influence its synergistic effect with the acidic sites of *** results show that 4.0Ce-USY-ex is much more active for catalytic degradation of 1,2-dichloroethane（DCE）,while 4.0Ce-USY-dp catalyst exhibit higher catalytic degradation activity for other structured CVOCs(dichloromethane（DCM）,trichloroethylene（TCE）,chlorobenzene（CB）).CeO2in 4.0Ce-USY-ex catalyst mainly disperses in the pore channels of USY zeolite,and there are many strong acid centers on the surface,which is conducive to the dechlorination conversion of ***,CeO2in 4.0Ce-USY-dp catalyst is mainly distributed on the outer surface of USY and has strong oxidation ability,which contributes to the deep oxidation of ***,the presence of a large number of strong acid centers on the catalyst surface of 4.0Ce-USY-ex catalysts leads to severe accumulation of surface carbon species and significantly decreases its stability towards ***,a large number of active oxygen species on the surface of 4.0Ce-USY-dp and CeO2catalysts are beneficial to the deep oxidation of DCE,reducing the formation of surface carbon and thus improving the stability of the ***,the influence of the location of the oxidation sites on its synergistic effect with the acidic sites was established in the present work,which could provide some new ideas for the rational design of CVOCs degradation catalyst with appropriate distribution of active sites.

Anthocyanins,ubiquitous in the Compositae family,are regulated by MYB(v-myb avian myeloblastosis viral oncogene homolog),playing an important role in anthocyanin *** this study,we analyzed the regulation pathway in which the MYB protein of subgroup 6 promotes dihydroflavonol reductase(DFR)expression in Compositae,and validated this law in Saussurea medusa through yeast one-hybrid *** results showed that MYB and DFR underwent purification selection,DFR promoter analysis revealed the presence of MYB binding site(GAGTTGAATGG)and bHLH binding site(CANNTG)at the sense strand of 84–116 nucleotide residues from the start *** two motifs were separated by 9–10 nucleotide residues,as existed in the DFR promoters of many Compositae ***,the yeast one-hybrid experiment demonstrated that SmMYB1 can activate the promoter of *** results provide a reference for further functional study of DFR in Compositae.

Identification of TMEM159 as a biomarker of glioblastoma progression based on immune characteristics

Background:Glioblastoma multiforme(GBM)is the most general malignancy of the primary central nervous system that is characterized by high aggressiveness and *** protein 159(TMEM159)is an endoplasmic reticulum protein that can form oligomers with *** TMEM159-seipin complex decides the site of lipid droplet(LD)formation,and the formation of LDs is a marker of ***,the role of TMEM159 in the progression of GBM has not been investigated to ***:In this study,we examined the genes that may be associated with patient prognosis in GBM by bioinformatics analyses,and identified the key genes that affect the development of GBM using single-cell RNA sequencing *** biological functions of TMEM159 in GBM cells were additionally assessed by clone formation and transwell assays as well as using a model of chick embryo chorioallantois membrane(CAM)and western *** association between TMEM159 and epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)was finally analyzed in GBM ***:A prognostic model was established and validated for predicting the *** curve analysis showed a critical difference in the prognosis of the high-and low-risk groups predicted by the prognostic *** results demonstrated that TMEM159 affected the proliferation and invasion of GBM *** chick embryo CAM assays demonstrated that the inhibition of TMEM159 expression reduced angiogenesis in the CAM ***:The prognostic model achieved good predictive potential for high-risk *** findings also revealed that TMEM159 might be an important prognostic factor for GBM,indicating that the protein may be a promising therapeutic target for suppressing the development of GBM.

ShCTR1 Interacts with ShRBOH1 to Positively Regulate Aerenchyma Formation in Saussurea inversa through ROS Mediation

Saussurea inversa is one of the Tibetan medicine with developed *** this study,we investigated the function of the ShCTR1 gene related to the formation of *** study of the occurrence and formation of aerenchyma in *** has certain theoretical significance in revealing the special mechanism of alpine plants adapting to the *** results of yeast two-hybrid experiments showed that *** ShCTR1 interacted with the ShRBOH1,which is a key producer of reactive oxygen species(ROS),and it was hypothesized that ShCTR1 regulation of aerenchyma formation in *** mainly mediated by *** induction and inhibition experiments were carried out on *** seedlings,it was shown that ROS inducer(AT)and Ethene(ETH)induced the formation of aerenchyma in *** well in roots,stems,and leaves,and Ethylene inhibitor(1-MCP)and ROS inhibitor DPI(diphenylene iodonium)inhibited the formation of aerenchyma of *** in different degrees,which proved that ROS and ethylene(ET)were positively correlated with the formation of ***,AT and ETH well induced the expression of the ShCTR1 gene,and 1-MCP and DPI inhibited the expression of the ShCTR1 gene to different degrees,which proved that ROS and ET were also positively correlated with the expression of the ShCTR1 ***1 was transferred into tobacco(Nicotiana tabacum L.),then repeat the above *** was shown that positive rate and porosity were lowest and highest after DPI and AT treatments,respectively,it showed a positive correlation,which proved that the ShCTR1 gene was positively regulating the formation of *** of the ShCTR1 gene increased the content of ROS,consequently,the regulation of aerenchyma formation by the ShCTR1 gene is mainly mediated by *** suggested that the formation of aerenchyma in *** was related to hypoxia in the alpine environment,and ShCTR1 interacts with ShRBOH1 to positively regulate the formation of a
