Effect of Rice Sowing Date on Occurrence of Small Brown Planthopper and Epidemics of Planthopper-Transmitted Rice Stripe Viral Disease

To understand the relationship between rice sowing date and occurrence of the rice small brown planthopper （SBPH） Laodelphax striatellus Fallen and the epidemics of the planthopper-transmitted rice stripe viral （RSV） disease, four sowing dates of rice were evaluated in 2006 and 2007. The results showed that the peak density of SBPH and RSV incidence in the nursery and in the transplanted field decreased with the delay of sowing date in single crop of japonica rice in north Zhejiang Province of China. The relationship between seedling RSV incidence at the end of the nursery trial with sowing date was well described by Weibull equation. The area under the curve of population dynamics （AUCPD or planthopper-day accumulation） or the peak density of the planthopper in the nursery could be summarized by a logistic equation. RSV incidence in the transplanted fields could be characterized quantitatively by a multivariate regression equation, including the variables of sowing date, peak density of the vector, and RSV incidence at the end of the nursery trial. That the descriptive model excluded the AUCPD in transplanted field implies that this variable is not necessary in forecasting disease epidemics in the field. The 2-year experiments sufficiently indicated that suitable sowing of rice could be used as one of the effective measures to control the vector population and therefore the planthopper-transmitted RSV on a larger scale. The optimal sowing date for the single-cropped transplanted japonica rice is recommended from late May to early June in north Zhejiang, China.

Efficiently reducing carbon dioxide(CO_(2))into carbon chemicals and fuels is highly desirable due to the rapid growth of atmospheric CO_(2)*** prior work,we described a unique H/CO_(2)fuel cell driven by low-valued waste heat,which not only CO_(2)nverts CO_(2)to methane(CH_(4))but also outputs electrical energy,yet the CO_(2)reduction rate needs to be urgently ***,a novel Ru-RuOcatalyst with heterostructure was grafted on mesoporous carbon spheres by in situ partially reducing RuOinto ultrasmall Ru clusters(~1 nm),in which heteroatom-doped carbon spheres as a matrix with excellent CO_(2)nductivity and abundant pores can not only easily CO_(2)nfine the formation of Ru nanocluster but also are beneficial to the exposed active sites of Ru CO_(2)mplex and the mass ***_(2)mpared to pure RuOnanoparticles supported on carbon spheres,our CO_(2)mposite catalyst boosts the CO_(2) nversion rate by more than 5-fold,reaching a value of 382.7μmol gcat.h-1at 170℃.Moreover,a decent output power density of 2.92 W mwas obtained from this H2/CO_(2)fuel cell using Ru-RuOembedded carbon spheres as a cathode *** Ru-RuOheterostructure can modify the adsorption energy of CO_(2)and induce the redistribution of charge density,thus boosting CO_(2)reduction *** work not only offers an efficient catalyst for this novel H_(2)/CO_(2)fuel cell but also presents a facile method to prepare Ru nanoclusters.

Effect of transient space-charge perturbation on carrier transport in high-resistance CdZnTe semiconductor

The polarization effect introduced by electric field deformation is the most important bottleneck of CdZnTe detector in x-ray imaging. Currently, most of studies focus on electric field deformation caused by trapped carriers;the perturbation of electric field due to drifting carriers has been rarely reported. In this study, the effect of transient space-charge perturbation on carrier transport in a CdZnTe semiconductor is evaluated by using the laser-beam-induced current(LBIC) *** appear in the current curves of CdZnTe detectors with different carrier transport performances under intense excitation, indicating the deformation of electric field. The current signals under different excitations are compared. The results suggest that with the increase of excitation, the amplitude of cusp increases and the electron transient time gradually decreases. The distortion in electric field is independent of carrier transport performance of detector. Transient space-charge perturbation is responsible for the pulse shape and affects the carrier transport process.

BACKGROUND The epidemiological and clinical characteristics of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)patients have been widely reported,but the assessment of doseresponse relationships and risk factors for mortality and severe cases and clinical outcomes remain *** To determine the dose-response relationship between risk factors and incidence of *** In this retrospective,multicenter cohort study,we included patients with confirmed COVID-19 infection who had been discharged or had died by February 6,*** used multivariable logistic regression and Cox proportional hazard models to determine the dose-response relationship between risk factors and incidence of *** It clarified that increasing risk of in-hospital death were associated with older age(HR:1.04,95%CI:1.01-1.09),higher lactate dehydrogenase[HR:1.04,95%confidence interval(CI):1.01-1.10],C-reactive protein(HR:1.10,95%CI:1.01-1.23),and procalcitonin(natural log-transformed HR:1.88,95%CI:1.22-2.88),and D-dimer greater than 1μg/m L at admission(natural log transformed HR:1.63,95%CI:1.03-2.58)by multivariable regression.D-dimer and procalcitonin were logarithmically correlated with COVID-19 mortality risk,while there was a linear dose-response correlation between age,lactate dehydrogenase,D-dimer and procalcitonin,independent of established risk *** Higher lactate dehydrogenase,D-dimer,and procalcitonin levels were independently associated with a dose-response increased risk of COVID-19 mortality.

To improve the corrosion resistance of coalbed methane drilling equipment,an AICoCrFeNiCu high entropy alloy coating was prepared on the AISI 4135(35CrMo)steel substrate by high velocity oxygen fuel(HVOF)technology,and the coating was subjected to vacuum heat treatment(VHT)at different temperatures(500,700,900 and 1100℃).The corrosion test of the substrate and the coatings after VHT in coalbed methane drilling fluid was carried *** results show that the HVOF sprayed AICoCrFeNiCu high entropy alloy(HEA)coating has a good bonding with the substrate,and the porosity of the coating is about 2.4%.There is partial segregation in the coating,and the coating mainly consists of body-centered cubic *** coating has good thermal stability,and the phase structure and microstructure of the coatings have changed after VHT at different *** with the substrate,the as-sprayed coating has better uniform corrosion resistance,and the corrosion resistance of the coating after VHT is further *** VHT at 500℃,the HVOF-sprayed AICoCrFeNiCu HEA coating has the best corrosion resistance.

Load transfer laws of tensile anchors in rock masses with weak interlayers based on a shear-slipping updating model

由于在非定常气动环境下运行的风力机会受到非定常气动载荷的作用,采用2种降阶模型(ARMA模型和Volterra级数模型)对风力机翼型的非定常气动载荷进行了预测,并将预测结果与CFD仿真结果进行比较,以验证模型对非定常气动载荷的预测能力.结果表明:在流动附着工况下,ARMA模型有较好的预测能力,在流动分离工况下Volterra级数模型的精度较高;这2种降阶模型能够在相对较小的计算成本条件下给出不同工况下风力机随时间变化的气动特性,为风力机气动弹性方面的设计与优化提供参考.
