Background:Balloon catheter isolation is a promising auxiliary method for thermal ablation treatment of liver cancer. We aimed to explore the safety and effectiveness of balloon catheter isolation-assisted ultrasound-guided percutaneous microwave ablation (MWA) in treating liver cancer in difficult anatomical ***:Data of 132 patients with 145 difficult-site liver cancer treated with ultrasound-guided percutaneous MWA were retrospectively analyzed. Participants were classified into the isolation (n=40)and non-isolation (n=92) groups based on whether the patients were treated using a balloon catheter prior to ablation. The major complication rates, local tumor residuals (LTR), and tumor follow-up for local tumor progression (LTP) at 6 and 12 months post-ablation were compared between the two ***:The rates of major postoperative complications did not significantly differ between the isolation and non-isolation groups (2.5%vs. 4.3%, P=0.609). The postoperative LTR rates were significantly different between the isolation and non-isolation groups (4.8%vs. 17.5%, P=0.032). Balloon catheter isolation [odds ratio (OR)=0.225, 95%confidence interval (CI):0.085–0.595, P=0.009] and tumor diameter(OR=2.808, 95%CI:1.186–6.647, P=0.019) were identified as independent factors influencing LTR *** cumulative LTP rates at 6 and 12 months after ablation showed no significant differences between the isolation and non-isolation groups (2.6%vs. 7.9%, P=0.661;4.9%vs. 9.8%, P=0.676, respectively).Cox proportional hazards regression analysis showed that tumor diameter was an independent risk factor for cumulative LTP rate (OR=3.445, 95%CI:1.406–8.437, P=0.017).Conclusions:Balloon catheter isolation-assisted MWA was safe and effective in the treatment of difficultsite liver cancer. Additionally, tumor diameter significantly influenced LTR and LTP rates after ablation.

Objective To investigate the possible protection provided by oral quercetin pretreatment against hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats. Methods The quercetin （0.13 mmol/kg） was orally administrated in 50 min prior to hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury. Ascorbic acid was also similarly administered. The hepatic content of quercetin was assayed by high performance liquid chromatography （HPLC）. Plasma glutamic pyruvic transaminase （GPT）, glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase （GOT） activities and malondialdehyde （MDA） concentration were measured as markers of hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury. Meanwhile, hepatic content of glutathione （GSH）, activities of superoxide dismutase （SOD）, glutathione peroxidase （GSH-Px） and xanthine oxidase （XO）, total antioxidant capacity （TAOC）, contents of reactive oxygen species （ROS） and MDA, DNA fragmentation were also determined. 在铁路货运期权定价模型的基础上,构建带跳扩散过程的多期三叉树铁路货运期权定价模型,刻画在离散时间点,因随机到达的非市场性不确定性因素而造成的定价策略波动,并运用Girsanov定理有效实行鞅测度变换,简化非线性跳变离散过程的求解,进而深入研究引入跳扩散过程的铁路货运期权定价问题.研究结果表明,跳跃次数与相关参数存在非线性关系,且相对于具有非单调性关系的期权执行价格及最优期权订购量,跳扩散过程对与其存在单调递增关系的期权价格具有更强的敏感性.同时,随着市场对跳跃信息消化能力及风险承担能力的增强,最优期权订购量逐步趋向稳定,不再随跳跃次数增加而产生较大变化.

Intrapancreatic fat deposition(IPFD)has garnered increasing attention in recent *** prevalence of IPFD is relatively high and associated with factors such as obesity,age,and ***,the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying IPFD remain unclear,with several potential contributing factors,including oxida-tive stress,alterations in the gut microbiota,and hormonal *** was found to be highly correlated with the occurrence and prognosis of exocrine pan-creatic *** imaging techniques remain the primary diagnostic approach for IPFD,an expanding array of biomarkers and clinical scoring systems have been identified for screening ***,effective treatments for IPFD are not available;however,existing medications,such as glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists,and new therapeutic approaches explored in animal models have shown considerable potential for managing this *** paper reviews the pathogenesis of IPFD,its association with exocrine pancreatic disea-ses,and recent advancements in its diagnosis and treatment,emphasizing the significant clinical relevance of IPFD.
