IFCEM based recognition method for target with interval-overlapped hybrid attributes

When the attributes of unknown targets are not just numerical attributes,but hybrid attributes containing linguistic attributes,the existing recognition methods are not effective.In addition,it is more difficult to identify the unknown targets densely distributed in the feature space,especially when there is interval overlap between attribute measurements of different target classes.To address these problems,a novel method based on intuitionistic fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model(IFCEM)is proposed.For numerical attributes,targets in the database are divided into individual classes and overlapping classes,and for linguistic attributes,continuous interval-valued linguistic term set(CIVLTS)is used to describe target characteristic.A cloud modelbased method and an area-based method are proposed to obtain intuitionistic fuzzy decision information of query target on numerical attributes and linguistic attributes respectively.An improved inverse weighted kernel fuzzy c-means(IWK-FCM)algorithm is proposed for solution of attribute weight vector.The possibility matrix is applied to determine the identity and category of query target.Finally,a case study composed of parameter sensitivity analysis,recognition accuracy analysis.and comparison with other methods,is taken to verify the superiority of the proposed method.

Combination for Conflicting Interval-Valued Belief Structures with CSUI-DST Method

Since the basic probability of an intervalvalued belief structure(IBS) is assigned as interval number, its combination becomes difficult. Especially, when dealing with highly conflicting IBSs, most of the existing combination methods may cause counter-intuitive results,which can bring extra heavy computational burden due to nonlinear optimization model, and lose the good property of associativity and commutativity in Dempster-Shafer theory(DST). To address these problems, a novel conflicting IBSs combination method named CSUI(conflict,similarity, uncertainty, intuitionistic fuzzy sets)-DST method is proposed by introducing a similarity measurement to measure the degree of conflict among IBSs, and an uncertainty measurement to measure the degree of discord, non-specificity and fuzziness of IBSs. Considering these two measures at the same time, the weight of each IBS is determined according to the modified reliability degree. From the perspective of intuitionistic fuzzy sets, we propose the weighted average IBSs combination rule by the addition and number multiplication operators. The effectiveness and rationality of this combination method are validated with two numerical examples and its application in target recognition.

The nucleation,grain growth of 34 coarse grains during annealing were tracked using a quasi-in-situ EBSD method.These 34 coarse grains had different orientations and most grains were non-basal orientated.No preferable grain growth or special types of grain boundaries were identified.Only 9 coarse grains nucleated from deformed grain boundaries due to initial large grain size and limited grain boundary volume fraction.The main nucleation site of 34 coarse grains was dislocation cells or subgrains in deformed grain interiors.Their recrystallisation behaviour can be illustrated by abnormal subgrain growth(As GG)rarely reported in Mg alloys.The coarse basal grains showed no growth advantage in terms of grain size or number over other non-basal grains,leading to a weak basal texture in AZ31B alloy.

Pickering emulsions have been widely used for biphasic catalysis in the past decade.However,it remains a great challenge to achieve simple product collection and enzyme recovery.Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)(PNIPAM)-based microgels can endow Pickering emulsions with stimuli-responsiveness,while most microgelstabilized emulsions are oil-in-water(O/W)type and not ideal for interfacial catalysis.Besides,altering temperature or pH value for demulsification is time-and energy-consuming and may cause irreversible deactivation of enzymes.In this work,inverse water-in-oil(W/O)Pickering emulsions were formed using hexanoic acidswollen microgels as the sole emulsifiers.When lipase was added in the water phase,stable oil-in-water-in-oil(O/W/O)Pickering double emulsions could be formed through one-step emulsification,owing to the synergistic effect of the hydrophobic microgels and hydrophilic lipase at the interface.Compared with other biphasic systems,such double emulsion systems represent a desirable platform for highly efficient biodiesel production because of the ultra-high interfacial areas and fast mass transport between two phases.More importantly,the switchable transition between hydrophobicity/hydrophilicity of microgels is controlled by the catalytic reaction.Therefore,double emulsions demulsify spontaneously when substrates are used up without the need for energy input or loss of enzymatic activity,enabling the facile collection of products and demonstrating the excellent recyclability of the biphasic catalysis system.

This paper is concerned with particle trajectories beneath solitary waves when a linear shear current exists.The fluid is assumed to be incompressible and inviscid,lying on a flat bed.Classical asymptotic expansion is used to obtain a Korteweg-de Vries(Kd V)equation,then a forth-order Runge-Kutta method is applied to get the approximate particle trajectories.On the other hand,our particular attention is paid to the direct numerical simulation(DNS)to the original Euler equations.A conformal map is used to solve the nonlinear boundary value problem.Highaccuracy numerical solutions are then obtained through the fast Fourier transform(FFT)and compared with the asymptotic solutions,which shows a good agreement when wave amplitude is small.Further,it also yields that there are different types of particle trajectories.Most surprisingly,periodic motion of particles could exist under solitary waves,which is due to the wave-current interaction.

Existing multi-view three-dimensional(3 D) reconstruction methods can only capture single type of feature from input view, failing to obtain fine-grained semantics for reconstructing the complex shapes. They rarely explore the semantic association between input views, leading to a rough 3 D shape. To address these challenges, we propose a semantics-aware transformer(SATF) for 3 D reconstruction. It is composed of two parallel view transformer encoders and a point cloud transformer decoder, and takes two red, green and blue(RGB) images as input and outputs a dense point cloud with richer details. Each view transformer encoder can learn a multi-level feature, facilitating characterizing fine-grained semantics from input view. The point cloud transformer decoder explores a semantically-associated feature by aligning the semantics of two input views, which describes the semantic association between views. Furthermore, it can generate a sparse point cloud using the semantically-associated feature. At last, the decoder enriches the sparse point cloud for producing a dense point cloud with richer details. Extensive experiments on the Shape Net dataset show that our SATF outperforms the state-of-the-art methods.

A central Pacific(CP) El Ni?o event occurred in 2018/19. Previous studies have shown that different mechanisms are responsible for different subtypes of CP El Ni?o events(CP-I El Ni?o and CP-II El Ni?o). By comparing the evolutions of surface winds, ocean temperatures, and heat budgets of the CP-I El Ni?o, CP-II El Ni?o, and 2018/19 El Ni?o, it is illustrated that the subtropical westerly anomalies in the North Pacific, which led to anomalous convergence of Ekman flow and surface warming in the central equatorial Pacific, played an important role in the 2018/19 El Ni?o event as well as in the CP-II El Ni?o. Although the off-equatorial forcing played a vital role, it is found that the equatorial forcing acted as a driving(damping) term in boreal spring(summer) of the 2018/19 El Ni?o. The 2018/19 El Ni?o provides a timely and vivid example that helps illustrate the proposed mechanism of the CP El Ni?o, which could be leveraged to improve El Ni?o predictability.

Pairing effects on the fragment mass distribution of Th,U,Pu,and Cm isotopes

In this article,a comprehensive study of the fission process of Th,U,Pu,and Cm isotopes using a Yukawa-folded meanfield plus standard pairing model is presented.The study focused on analyzing the effects of the pairing interaction on the fragment mass distribution and its dependence on nuclear elongation.The significant role of pairing interactions in the fragment mass distributions of^(230)Th,^(234)U,^(240)Pu,and^(246)Cm was demonstrated.Numerical analysis revealed that increasing the pairing interaction strength decreased the asymmetric fragment mass distribution and increased the symmetric distribution.Furthermore,the odd-even mass differences at symmetric and asymmetric fission points were examined,highlighting their sensitivity to changes in the pairing interaction strength.Systematic analysis of the Th,U,Pu,and Cm isotope fragment mass distributions demonstrated the effectiveness of the model in reproducing the experimental data.In addition,the effects of the zero-point energy and half-width parameter on the fragment mass distribution for^(240)Pu were explored.Thus,this study provides valuable insights into the fission process by emphasizing the importance of pairing interactions and their relationship with nuclear elongation.
