Combining theoretical prediction and experimental exploration, the first sandwich-type polyoxovanadoborate(POVB) with an odd number of nuclei, [V_(11)B_(26)O_(73)(OH)_(10)]^(8-)(1), was discovered under hydrothermal conditions. Density-functional theory(DFT)gives a rationalization for the existence of this structure and the structural feature is consistent with the {V_NB_(2N+X)}(X = 2, 4, 6, 8)general formula. Excitingly, when Co and 1,10-phenanthroline(phen) are introduced into the synthesis of vanadoborates system,a 100-nuclei [Co_6(phen)_(10)(H_(2)O)_8][V_(14)Co_(12)B_(72)O_(144)(OH)_(20)]·28H_(2)O(2) and a 102-nuclei [Co_6(phen)_(14)(H_(2)O)_(4)][V_(14)Co_(12)B_(72)O_(144)(OH)_(20)]·23H_(2)O(3) with the same core structure of [V_(14)Co_(12)B_(72)]^(12-)are obtained. The vase-shaped [V_(14)Co_(12)B_(72)] polyanion is a multilayered sandwich-type structure containing seven distinct structural layers and is the largest known POVB. Furthermore, 2demonstrates exceptional thermal and chemical stability and serves as an efficient and stable catalyst for the photoreduction of carbon dioxide.

AIM:To investigate whether Wild Field Imaging System(WFIS SW-8000),25G endoilluminator,and intraoperative optical coherence tomography(iOCT)can perform realtime screening and diagnosing in patients with suspicious diabetic retinopathy(DR)during phacoemulsification,especially in cases of white ***:A cross-sectional study was carried out.A total of 204 dense diabetic cataractous eyes of 204 patients with suspected DR treated from April 2020 to March 2021 were *** combined with intraocular lens implantation was *** the removal of the lens opacity,the 25G endoilluminator,fundus photography,and iOCT were performed *** coherence tomography(OCT)and/or fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA)were used to verify the fundus findings *** and postoperative results were compared to verify the accuracy of intraoperative diagnosis in each ***:Intraoperative and postoperative examinations revealed 58 and 62 eyes with DR,respectively(positive rate,28.43%and 30.39%,respectively).During the phacoemulsification,WFIS SW-8000 detected 44 eyes with DR(the detection rate,70.97%);25G endo-illuminator found 56 eyes with DR(the detection rate,90.32%);iOCT found 46 eyes with DR(the detection rate,74.19%);and 58 eyes with DR were found by combining the three methods(the detection rate,93.55%).There were statistically significant differences in the diagnostic sensitivity for DR among the methods(χ^(2)=16.36,P=0.001).CONCLUSION:WFIS SW-8000,25G endo-illuminator,iOCT,and especially their combination can be used to inspect the fundus and detect DR intraoperatively;they are helpful for the timely diagnosis and treatment of DR in patients with dense cataract.

Internet has become a major medium for infomation transmission, how to detect hot topic on web, track the event development and forecast emergency is important to many fields, particularly to some government departments. On the basis of the researches in the field of topic detection and tracking, we propose a model for hot topic discovery that will pick out hot topics by automatically detecting, clustering and weighting topics on the websites within a time period. Based on the idea of stock index, we also introduce a topic index approach in following the growth of topics, which is useful to analyze and forecast the development of topics on web.

High strength titanium alloys suffer from a limited combination of strength and *** their micro structure,the coarseβgrain is a detrimental *** the present study,the effects of hot deformation and annealing treatment on theβgrain refinement of Ti-5 Al-5 Mo-5 V-1 Cr-1 Fe(TC18)titanium alloy have been investigated by using electronic backscattered diffraction(EBSD)and transmission electric microscopy(TEM).Hot compression tests of TC18 alloy were performed between 1073 and 1223 K at strain rates of 0.01 and 0.10 s^(-1)·Subsequent annealing treatments were conducted to investigate the effect of deformation microstructure on the recrystallization behavior ofβ*** results indicate that dynamic recovery(DRV)is the dominant restoration mechanism during hot *** dynamic recrystallization(dDRX)is significantly limited at a higher temperature in theβregion,whereas continuous dynamic recrystallization(cDRX)of theβphase is observed at a higher strain rate in the(α+β)*** final annealing microstructure is highly dependent on the deformation *** dDRX during hot deformation could not effectively refine theβ*** refined and uniformβgrains with an average grain size of 12μm are achieved by combining hot deformation and subsequent annealing in the(α+β)*** study provides a guide for theβgrain refinement of high strength titanium alloys.

This study analyzes drift phenomena of deterministic crowding and probabilistic crowding by using equivalence class model and expectation proportion equations. It is proved that the replacement errors of deterministic crowding cause the population converging to a single individual, thus resulting in premature stagnation or losing optional optima. And probabilistic crowding can maintain equilibrium multiple subpopulations as the population size is adequate large. An improved niching method using clustering crowding is proposed. By analyzing topology of fitness landscape using hill valley function and extending the search space for similarity analysis, clustering crowding determines the locality of search space more accurately, thus greatly decreasing replacement errors of crowding. The integration of deterministic and probabilistic replacement increases the capacity of both parallel local hill climbing and maintaining multiple subpopulations. The experimental results optimizing various multimodal functions show that,the performances of clustering crowding, such as the number of effective peaks maintained, average peak ratio and global optimum ratio are uniformly superior to those of the evolutionary algorithms using fitness sharing, simple deterministic crowding and probabilistic crowding.

Wear-resistant Fe-based coating was prepared by high-speed laser cladding on bainitic *** influence of laser scanning speed on microstructure,microhardness,and wear resistance of cladding coating was *** electron microscopy results showed that the coating was mainly composed of dendrite and *** electron microscope images were converted by binary algorithm to facilitate statistics of dendrite and interdendrite *** results indicate that by accelerating the scanning speed,the interdendrite eutectic structure *** to energydispersive X-ray spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction results,the interdendrite was enriched with elements Cr,Mo,and B,and main structures in the coating wereα-Fe,γ-Fe,and M(23)C_(6).The hardness of the coating was much higher than that of the *** diffused from coating to substrate,resulting in a transition zone of ***,with an increase in the scanning speed,the diffusion of elements at the coating–matrix interface decreased,while the hardness and wear resistance of the coating *** refinement and interdendrite(γ-Fe,M_(23)C_(6))increasing due to high scanning speed were the major contributors to the increase in hardness and wear resistance.

AIM:To investigate potential gene changes in trabecular meshwork(TM)induced by dexamethasone(DEX)in steroidinduced glaucoma(SIG).METHODS:The expression data of 24 cases from a public functional genomics data were sorted to identify the mechanisms of action of DEX on the *** relationships of the differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were enriched using Gene Ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)*** addition,the hub genes were screened by the Search Tool for the Retrieval of Interacting Genes Database(STRING)and Cytoscape ***,human TM cells(HTMCs)were treated with DEX to preliminarily explore the function of hub ***:Totally 47 DEGs,including 21 downregulated and 26 upregulated genes were *** primary enriched results of the DEGs consisted of inflammatory response,extracellular matrix(ECM),negative regulation of cell proliferation,TNF signalling pathway and the regulation of tr yptophan channels by inflammator y ***,pro-melanin-enriched hormone(PMCH)and Bradykinin B1 receptor(BDKRB1)were screened as hub *** is verified in GSE37474 data *** blot and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(q PCR)results showed that protein and RNA expression levels of BDKRB1 were significantly decreased after DEX treatment,while PMCH was not significantly ***:BDKRB1 may be a key gene involved in SIG onset,providing a suitable therapeutic target for improving the prognosis of SIG patients.

BACKGROUND Primary squamous cell carcinoma(SCC)of the renal parenchyma is extremely rare,with only nine cases *** SUMMARY This study reports a 51-year-old man with primary SCC of the renal *** patient was admitted with recurrent dull pain and discomfort in the right lumbar region,which had worsened over 2 weeks,accompanied by painful gross *** antigen(SCCA)levels were elevated,and imaging revealed a renal mass with associated *** patient underwent laparoscopic unilateral nephrectomy and lymph node *** pathology confirmed highly differentiated SCC with necrosis in the right renal parenchyma,with negative renal pelvis and *** pathological stage was *** months after surgery,the tumor recurred with involvement of the liver,right psoas major muscle,and inferior vena *** patient refused chemotherapy and succumbed to the disease 6 months postoperatively due to disease *** We report a case of primary SCC of the renal parenchyma,a rare renal *** clinical symptoms,laboratory tests,and imaging findings are nonspecific,making accurate and timely diagnosis *** to the literature,for patients with renal calculi accompanied by a renal mass,elevated serum SCCA levels,and magnetic resonance imaging showing cystic or cystic-solid masses within the kidney with pseudocapsules and heterogeneous mild enhancement,the possibility of this disease should be considered.
