Chemical structure of grain-boundary layer in SrTiO_3 and its segregation-induced transition: A continuum interface approach

Grain-boundary（GB） structures are commonly imaged as discrete atomic columns, yet the chemical modifications are gradual and extend into the adjacent lattices, notably the space charge, hence the two-dimensional defects may also be treated as continuum changes to extended interfacial structure. This review presents a spatially-resolved analysis by electron energy-loss spectroscopy of the GB chemical structures in a series of SrTiO3 bicrystals and a ceramic, using analytical electron microscopy of the pre-Cs-correction era. It has identified and separated a transient layer at the model Σ5 grain-boundaries（GBs） with characteristic chemical bonding, extending the continuum interfacial approach to redefine the GB chemical structure. This GB layer has evolved under segregation of iron dopant, starting from subtle changes in local bonds until a clear transition into a distinctive GB chemistry with substantially increased titanium concentration confined within the GB layer in 3-unit cells, heavily strained, and with less strontium. Similar segregated GB layer turns into a titania-based amorphous film in SrTiO3 ceramic, hence reaching a more stable chemical structure in equilibrium with the intergranular Ti2O3 glass also. Space charge was not found by acceptor doping in both the strained Σ5 and amorphous GBs in SrTiO3 owing to the native transient nature of the GB layer that facilitates the transitions induced by Fe segregation into novel chemical structures subject to local and global equilibria. These GB transitions may add a new dimension into the structure–property relationship of the electronic materials.

Study on effectiveness evaluation of weapon systems based on grey relational analysis and TOPSIS

To evaluate the effectiveness of weapon systems, the advantages and disadvantages of grey relational analysis and TOPSIS for multiattribute decision-making is pointed out, and an effectiveness evaluation model of weapon systems by combining grey relational analysis and TOPSIS is proposed. The model aggregates the grey relational grade and the distance to a new integrated closeness and reflects not only the trend but also the situation of the alternative. The example illuminates that the model is effective for the effectiveness evaluation of weapon systems.

Transition-layer of coreerim structures andβ→a transformation in SiC ceramics

Similar to Si_(3)N_(4)ceramics,β→a phase transformation in SiC ceramics plays a key role in tailoring the microstructures thus optimizing related *** microstructures are dominated with the core erim structures by AlN-solution,and by EBSD analysis,a-lamellae were revealed as stacking-faults(SF)and twin-boundaries(TB)in b-grains,co-existing with the coreerim structures asα/β→α’/β’transformation by *** structural transformation can proceed much further by gas-pressuresintering than hot-pressing with only RE2O3 agents,while the latter retain a high-density of SF/TB in the metastable b-SiC *** high-angle secondary-electron imaging,nanoscale transition-layer(TL)was observed as an inter-phase to fully separate the core and rim,which is created by a transitory equilibrium in the solutionereprecipitation *** enrichment of AlN or RE in TL demonstrates their segregation to core surface until reaching the super-saturation and before the growth of *** higher AlN or RE solution and after sintering,a shear stress can develop from TL contour to drive the expansion of SF/TB in Martensitic transition,especially under an external isotropic *** combinations ofβ→a transformation,coreerim structures and viscous liquid-phase enable the comprehensive assessment of sintering-microstructure-property-performance relationship of SiC ceramics,as demonstrated for their creep behaviors and fracture toughness.

Basic Judgment and Policy Reflection of Current Hierarchical Solidification

Phenomena of“rich second generation”,“poor second generation”and“competition of family background”,heatedly discussed by the public,reflect the general concern about the solidification of social stratum.A statistical analysis of a large-scale social survey in this paper shows that not enough evidence has confirmed the solidification of current social stratum and social structure still remains a high degree of *** some cases indicate the tendency of the solidification of social class ***,to correctly understand the problem of current social mobility,it is necessary to treat the phenomenon of“X second generation”objectively and rationally,take the safeguard of fairness and justice as the basic measure of value,observe the social selection mechanism of equal opportunity,and fully implement a series of policies and measures for comprehensively deepening the reform since the 18th National Congress of the CPC.

Factors Influencing Glucoraphanin and Sulforaphane Formation in Brassica Plants:A Review

Sulforaphane is a type of sulfur-containing isothiocyanates hydrolyzed from glucosinolates by myrosinase found in Brassica plants. Sulforaphane is a naturally occurring inducer of phase II enzymes in human and animal bodies to detoxify cancer-causing chemicals. Glucoraphanin is the precursor of sulforaphane and its content is greatly influenced by plant species and genotype, plant organs, pre-harvest factors, and post-harvest processing, thus sulforaphane formation is also directly influenced. Here, we review the formation mechanism of sulforaphane and the factors influencing sulforaphane formation. In the end, the future directions are also discussed.

Two new tetralone derivatives from the culture of Xylaria hypoxylon AT-028

Two new tetralone derivatives named xylariol A （1） and B （2） were isolated from the EtOAc extract of the culture broth of Xylaria hypoxylon AT-028 （Xylariaceae）, and their structures were elucidated by MS, 1R, 1D- and 2D-NMR spectra, and by X-ray diffraction analysis. 1 and 2 showed moderate cytotoxic activities against Hep G2 cells in the in vitro cytotoxic assay with IC50 values of 22.3 and 21.2 μg/mL, respectively.

混凝土附加防腐蚀涂层可以阻止混凝土的腐蚀,提高其耐久性。不同类型附加防腐蚀涂层对混凝土结构抗氯离子侵蚀性能的提高作用不同。选择3种表面成膜型涂料、3种渗透型涂层和一种复合型涂层,采用电阻率法研究了涂料种类、水胶比对涂覆涂层的混凝土抗氯离子侵蚀性能的影响。结果表明:涂层能够有效抑制氯离子向混凝土内部扩散,明显提高混凝土的抗氯离子侵蚀性能;在相同水胶比的情况下,成膜型涂料的抗氯离子侵蚀效果一般要优于渗透型涂料,复合型涂料的性能最优;水胶比对涂层阻隔有效性的测试结果略有影响。
