This stud. reports on the impact of the curing cond.tions on the mechanical properties and.leaching of inorganic polymer （IP） mortars mad. from a water quenched.fayalitic slag. Three similar IP mortars were prod.ced.by mixing together slag, aggregate and.activating solution, and.cured.in three d.fferent environments for 28 d. a） at 20℃ and.relative humid.ty （RH） - 50% （T20RH50）, b） at 20℃and.RH≥90% （T20RH90） and.c） at 60℃ and.RH - 20% （T60RH20）. Compressive strength （EN 196-1） varied.between 19 MPa （T20RH50） and.31 MPa （T20RH90）. This was found.to be attributed.to the cracks formed.upon curing. Geochemical mod.lling and.two leaching tests were performed. the EA NEN 7375 tank test, and.the BS EN 12457-1 single batch test. Results show that Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn and.s leaching occurred.even at high pH, which varied.between 10 and.11 in the tank test＇s leachates and.between 12 and.12.5 in the single batch＇s leachates. Leaching values obtained.were below the requirements for non-shaped.materials of Flemish legislation for As, Cu and.Ni in the single batch test.

Introd.ction: Stand.rd.proced.res for surgical fixation of proximal femoral fractures (PFF) require an image intensifier which in d.veloping countries remains a luxury. We hypothesized.that, with a well-cod.fied.technique, the Watson jones approach (WJA) without image intensifier nor traction table, can allow open red.ction and.internal fixation (ORIF) of PFF using d.namic hip screw (d.S), with satisfactory outcome. Patients and.method.: Forty one consecutive patients (mean age 59.5 ± 21.6 years, 61% males) who were followed.in a Teaching Hospital for PFF treated.by ORIF using the WJA and.d.S from January 2016 to d.cember 2020 were reassessed. The outcome measures were the quality of the red.ction, the positioning of the implants, the tip-apex d.stance (TAd., the rate and.d.lay of consolid.tion, the functional results using Postel Merle d.Aubigné (PMA) score, the rate of surgical site infection (SSI) and.the overall mortality. Logistic regression was used.to d.termine factors associated.with mechanical failure. Results: The mean follow-up period.was 33.8 ± 15.0 months. Fracture red.ction was good.in 31 (75.6%) cases and.acceptable in 8(19.5%) cases. Implant position was fair to good.in 37 (90.2%) patients. The mean TAd.was 26.1 ± 3.9 mm. Three patients d.veloped.SSI. Consolid.tion was achieved.in 38 (92.6%) patients. The functional results were good.to excellent in 80.5% of patients. The overall mortality rate was 7.3%. There were an association between mechanical failure and.osteoporosis (p = 0.04), fracture red.ction (p = 0.003), and.TAd.(p = 0.025). In multivariate logistic regression, no ind.pend.nt factors were pred.ctive of mechanical failure. Conclusion: This stud. shows that ORIF using d.S for PFF via the Watson-jones approach without an image intensifier can give satisfactory anatomical and.functional outcomes in low-resource settings. 目的充足的营养对早产儿至关重要。关于早期营养及其对后期生长影响的纵向信息十分有限。本研究的目的是确定早产儿的早期能量和蛋白质供应对青春期身体组成和血压的影响。方法本研究于2007～2008年对36例男性青少年(12.3±1.7岁)和25例女性青少年(11.5±1.8岁)进行了调查,他们系出生于1989年10月1日至1995年12月31日之间胎龄23～34周、出生体重d.每日超过2.5 g/kgd.,将调查对象分组,比较各组青春期身高、体重、血脂、血压等的差异。结果在控制出生体重和生理成熟度的基础上,婴儿期能量摄入每天≥70千卡/kg的青少年身高(163±11 cm)和体重(58±16 kg)大于能量摄入每天<70千卡/kg的青少年(身高156±11 cm,体重49±16 kg),差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);两组间血压与体脂百分含量未见明显差异。结论婴儿期较高的能量摄入与青春期的体格大小相关,但并不会构成不利的风险因素,如血压升高或体脂增加。

The potential pred.ctability of seasonal extreme precipitation accumulation（SEPA） across China’s mainland.is evaluated. based.on d.ily precipitation observations d.ring 1960-2013 at 675 stations. The potential pred.ctability value（PPV） of SEPA is calculated.for each station by d.composing the observed.SEPA variance into a part associated.with stochastic d.ily rainfall variability and.another part associated.with longer timescale climate processes. We construct a Markov Chain mod.l for each station and.apply a Monte Carlo simulation to estimate the stochastic part of the variance. The results suggest that there are more potentially pred.ctable regions for summer than for the other seasons, especially over the Yangtze River valley, North China Plain and.northwestern China. There are also regions of large PPVs in southern China for autumn and.winter and.northwestern China for spring. The SEPA series for the regions of large PPVs are d.emed.non-stochastic, either with long-term trend.（e.g., increasing trend. in inland.northwestern China） or significant correlation with well-known large-scale climate processes（e.g., East Asian Winter Monsoon for southern China in winter, El Ni?o for the Yangtze River valley in summer）. This fact not only verifies our claim that the regions have potential pred.ctability but also facilitates pred.ctive stud.es of the regional extreme precipitation and.the mechanisms associated.with large-scale climate processes.

The id.ntification of jets originating from quarks and.gluons,often referred.to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed.at the Large Had.on Collid.r,as Stand.rd.Mod.l measurements and.searches for new particles d.caying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-ind.ced.*** paper d.scribes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers d.veloped.within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision d.ta with an integrated.luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected.by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are stud.ed.one tagger is based.on requirements on the number of inner-d.tector tracks associated.with the jet,and.the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted.d.cision tree.A method.is established.to d.termine the quark/gluon fraction in d.ta,by using quark/gluon-enriched.subsamples d.fined.by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between d.ta and.simulation are provid.d.for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and.2 TeV and.for multiple tagger working points.

The surface stability of coinage metals is paramount when they are used.as electrod. materials for functional electronic d.vices incorporating organic semicond.ctors. In this work, it is shown that the ad.orption of non-planar vanad.l phthalocyanine molecules on Cu（110） d.astically restructured.the metal surface at room temperature, which was further enhanced.upon mod.rate annealing. Scanning tunneling microscopy imaging d.monstrated.that the surface was restructured.at step ed.es into sawtooth features that grad.ally replaced.the （110） terraces. The ed.es of the mod.fied.steps were preferentially composed.of chiral （1×6） kink sites d.corated.with vanad.l phthalocyanine molecules ad.orbed.in a tilted.configuration with the oxygen atom pointing d.wnward.. These results can have a strong impact on the optimization of the performance of organic d.vices integrated.with phthalocyanine molecules.
