Mineralogy and carbothermal reduction behaviour of vanadium-bearing titaniferous magnetite ore in Eastern India

Vanadium-beaxing titaniferous magnetite bands hosted by Precambrian gabbro-norite-anorthositic rocks or their metamorphic equivalents were discovered in some parts of Eastern Indian Shield, containing 48%-49% Fe （total）, 10%-25% TiO2, and 0.3%-2.20% V2O5 by mass. Mineralogical and petrological study, composition, and characterization of the vanadium-bearing titaniferous magnetite ore were carried out by scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray （SEM-EDX）, wave length X-ray florescence （WDXRF）, inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy （ICP-AES）, X-ray diffraction （XRD）, etc. Chemical beneficiation for valuable metals, such as Fe, Ti, andV, was performed by reduction roasting. The direct and indirect reduction were investigated by mixing the lump ore with solid activated charcoal in a closed reactor and purging the reducing gas mixture in standard reducibility index apparatus at different temperatures and time intervals. The reduction roasting parameters were optimized. Finally, the reduced samples were crushed and upgraded by magnetic separation. The results show that, the maximum mass fractions of magnetic and nonmagnetic parts achieved axe 69.36% and 30.64%, respectively, which contain 10.6% TiO2 and 0.84% V205 in the magnetic part and 36.5% TiO2 and 0.22% V205 in the nonmagnetic part.

In this paper,an improved load sharing strategy is proposed for distributed generation units(DGs)connected in a *** frequency and voltage droop control result in unacceptable active and reactive power *** proposed method formulates a suitable algorithm for load sharing in the islanded *** feeder power loss and the line impedance voltage drops are minimized so as to regulate the voltage at the point of common coupling(PCC)at its nominal *** desired DG output voltages are calculated and a linear relationship is obtained between the shared active and reactive powers and the DG output voltages.A master DG controller sets the frequency which is followed by other DG *** reference powers for the DG units are adjusted so as to maintain the rated PCC *** proposed strategy is verified taking into account the DG ratings,unequal line impedance drops,feeder losses,change in system impedance and effect of DG local loads and formulates an improved power sharing strategy that also facilitates PCC voltage regulation under variable loading *** and experimental results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Algal blooms,the spread of algae on the surface of water bodies,have adverse effects not only on aquatic ecosystems but also on human *** adverse effects of harmful algal blooms(HABs)necessitate a convenient solution for detection and *** aerial vehicles(UAVs)have recently emerged as a tool for algal bloom detection,efficiently providing on-demand images at high spatiotemporal *** study developed an image processing method for algal bloom area estimation from the aerial images(obtained from the internet)captured using *** a remote sensing method of HAB detection,analysis,and monitoring,a combination of histogram and texture analyses was used to efficiently estimate the area of *** features like entropy(using the Kullback-Leibler method)were emphasized with the aid of a gray-level co-occurrence *** results showed that the orthogonal images demonstrated fewer errors,and the morphological filter best detected algal blooms in real time,with a precision of 80%.This study provided efficient image processing approaches using on-board UAVs for HAB monitoring.

In this paper, we discuss a fixed point theorem for mappings derived by a pair of mappings satisfying weak（k, k/） contractive type condition on the tensor product spaces. Let X and Y be Banach spaces and T1: X γ Y → X and T2: X γ Y → Y be two operators which satisfy weak（k, k/） contractive type condition. Using T1and T2, we construct an operator T on X γ Y and show that T has a unique fixed point in a closed and bounded subset of X γ *** derive an iteration scheme converging to this unique fixed point of T. Conversely, using a weakly contractive mapping T, we construct a pair of mappings（T1, T2） satisfying weak（k, k/）contractive type condition on X γ Y and from this pair, we also obtain two self mappings S1and S2on X and Y respectively with unique fixed points.

孟子是中国在战国时期的儒家哲学家,对儒家思想的阐释和传播做出巨大贡献,被誉为“亚圣”。他的著名理论是关于人性的“人性本善”。在他看来,人性是人与生俱来的善良“种子”,这些“种子”必须被培育以充分发挥其潜力。关于孟子的人性理论已经有很多研究,不过,基于孟子哲学来讨论人的尊严的研究还不多。以往关于人的尊严的研究大多是从西方哲学出发。而实际上,孟子的人性思想可以让我们更好地理解人的尊严。孟子的人性论直接就为人类的尊严奠定了基础。孟子认为,关于人性,我们都有“四端”:仁、义、礼、智是我们人性固有的倾向,因此我们具有与生俱来的人类尊严,我们只需要以适当的方式培养这一点。孟子说,人有这种人性的萌芽,而其他动物则没有。孟子的修养理论与其对人的尊严的理解是相互关联的,由此也可以得出,人的尊严也依赖于不断地修养。孟子承认人们与生俱来的尊严,基于其人性论,人的尊严不应当被侵犯或丧失;另一方面,人的尊严并不是现成的,也不仅只是消极地要求他人去无条件地尊重,它更多地取决于人自身的内在努力,总之,人的尊严是有待实现的。孟子为以人的尊严为目标的认为人应该发展自己的美德,最终成为圣人。在此意义上,绝大多数人都并未完美实现其尊严,正如我们都并非圣人,然而这并不否定我们都有人的尊严。孟子要求满足某些条件才能充分发挥人的潜能,实现人的美德以及尊严。本文在对《孟子》相关文本的思考与分析的基础上,对照了其他哲学家的人性观点,主要论述了孟子关于人性本善的观点,对此进行了详细论证。在此基础上论述了基于人性理论如何理解人的尊严。主要涉及以下几个方面:第一章为绪论,简要介绍了本文的研究背景、相关研究综述等。第二章试图对已经存在的关于人性的各种观点进行解释。中国哲学中存在三种关于人性的思想。荀子认为人性是恶的。荀子说,人的本性,生来就有贪利之心。而如果每个人都为了利益生活,利益与利益相互冲突,这将导致人们陷入巨大的混乱。我用荀子的眼耳为例,荀子说,看和听的活动,无非是从眼睛和耳朵分别出来的。如果我们欲望得到更多,那么我们就会陷入混乱。为了避免这种混乱,荀子说我们需要老师和圣人的正确指导,这就是礼仪的起源。既然我们需要礼仪,这就说明,人性是恶的,是需要矫正的。荀子说,如果性善,礼从何来?他回答说,仪式是圣王的有意工作,就像木匠雕刻一块木头和制作器皿一样。这是木匠进行的活动,而不是木材的原生能力。之后,我论证孟子和告子关于人性非善非恶的论点。在这个论点中,我将尝试从文王武王和幽王厉王的例子来解释告子说人性是既不善又不恶的理由,以及他关于人性的看法是可以转化的观点。在第一章的第三部分,我试图解释“有的人性善,有的人性不善”的观点。总之,在论文的第二章中,我展示了中国哲学中关于人性的几种观点。第三章主要论述孟子关于人性的思想,这是我论文最重要的部分之一。在本章的第一部分中,我将人性解释为自然倾向,人类的本性中天生就有四个萌芽。由此,所有人都能练就四种心(仁爱的心、正义的心、遵守礼节的心、知晓是非的心),因此可说我们有良好的人性。在本章中,我试图解释所有人类都有这四个萌芽,根据孟子的想法,我们需要培养它们。如果我们培养我们的四端,我们就可以实现人性。但如果一个人没有得到适当的修养而没有实现其四端,那并不是说他没有这种本性。我试图根据宣王以羊换牛的故事来解释人的本性的仁慈。在那个故事中,宣王遵循他的仁慈之心。在本章的第二部分,我试图具体解释孟子的四端。仁的意思是对他人表示同情或关心他人或为他人做好事。在早期的儒家中,仁与人伦关系密不可分。义由羞耻感而来。孟子思想中的礼,一是举行具有社会政治活动的适当标准,二是举行真正的礼节。智指的是辨别是非的美德。我试图在如下意义上解释孟子的论点:孟子认为人性的这些美德是需要后天培养的。我重点解释了孟子关于仁和义的理解。我论证了仁爱他人对孟子的意义,孟子如何传承普世爱的观念。孟子认为,一个人应该首先爱他的家人,但是爱又不能止于爱家人,应该将这种仁爱扩展到爱陌生人乃至爱世间万物。我试图解释孟子的义的美德,孟子是第一个将仁义结合为美德的人。在本章的第三、四部分我基于孟子对荀子和告子人性论的回应。我将解释从孟子的角度来看为何荀子是错误的。孟子关于人性的论述是基于人类的原始的善的萌芽。荀子的观点是人既然会犯错,就说明他并非一开始就是善的。而孟子说,一个人做错了,不是本性的错。荀子认为,圣王见人性为恶,立定法制。为了证明孟子在人性善上是错的,荀子说如果人性本善,我们就不需要圣王,我们可以忘记礼节。但是孟子认为,尽管人性本善,我们仍然会作恶,因而基于人性本善是可以解释圣王和礼仪的意义的,他们的意义在于帮助我们修养自己本有的善性。在第二部分我试图解释孟子和告子关于人性的争论。在这一部分我论证了告子的解释忽略了人与动物之间的差异。告子的观点将导致人的后天修养丧失其背后人

A novel sub 20 nm single gate tunnel field effect transistor with intrinsic channel for ultra low power applications

We propose a nanoscale single gate ultra thin body intrinsic channel tunnel field effect transistor using the charge plasma concept for ultra low power applications. The characteristics of TFETs （having low leakage） are improved by junctionless TFETs through blending advantages of Junctionless FETs （with high on current）. We further improved the characteristics, simultaneously simplifying the structure at a very low power rating using an InAs channel. We found that the proposed device structure has reduced short channel effects and parasitics and provides high speed operation even at a very low supply voltage with low leakage. Simulations resulted in Iovv of - 9 × 10-16A/um, IoN of ,-20uA/um, ION/IoFF of--2× 1010, threshold voltage of 0.057 V, subthreshold slope of 7 mV/dec and DIBL of 86 mV/V for PolyGate/HfO2/InAs TFET at a temperature of 300 K, gate length of 20 nm, oxide thickness of 2 nm, film thickness of 10 nm, low-k spacer thickness of 10 nm and VDD of 0.2 V.

With increasing evidence,the biliary tract and the gallbladder mucosa are no longer considered sterile environments devoid of *** a profound biofilm of resident bacterial flora is associated with the mucosal *** bile too harbors a resident *** is when a dysbiotic process ensues,that this bac-terial flora either becomes opportunist or is replaced by a pathogenic one that has a strong ability to survive the challenges of the biliary *** once believed a metabolic problem,recent evidence indicates a complex intera-ction between different species of bacteria and gallbladder mucosa and bile which may culminate in calculus *** resident microbiota and its several enzymes dictate the type of gallstone by the mere interplay of the constituting type of bacteria in the biofilm,even without any evidence of *** is often mediated by either intestinal dysbiosis or less probably by oral *** gallstones,in turn,provide a haven for the resident microbiota in which they can form their own defined niche enriched with the biofilm that can resist the biliary defense mechanisms and survive the hostile biliary environment in the background of biliary stasis and local ***,this process of silent friendship is more complex than said,and further research is needed to define the relationship between the two.
