To the Editor:Widely used statins lower the risk of death from cardiovascular ***,statin-associated skeletal muscle complaints hinder their clinical application to some *** xin shi tablet(YXST),a traditional Chinese medicine formula,can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with cardiovascular diseases when combined with conventional ***,the synergistic effects of YXST combined with a statin and the potential mechanisms remain ***,exploring the effects and mechanisms of YXST in improving statin-induced muscle injury can be beneficial for the exercise rehabilitation and prognosis of patients with cardiovascular disease.

In this paper, cluster synchronization in community network with nonidentical nodes is investigated. By combining intermittency with a pinning control scheme, some effective controllers are designed. In the control scheme, only one node in each community is controlled and coupling weights of a spanning tree in each community are enhanced. Based on the Lyapunov function method and mathematical analysis technique, two results for achieving cluster synchronization are obtained. Noticeably, by introducing an adaptive strategy, some universal adaptive intermittent pinning controllers are designed for different networks. Finally, two numerical simulations are performed to verify the correctness of the derived results.

A bandwidth-reconfigurable filter is necessary to meet the need of growing communication capacity and signal coverage frequency range. The stimulated Brillouin scattering(SBS) gain spectrum as a filter passband is used to extract desired microwave signals. Due to the fact that the passband is formed by mapping the Brillouin gain spectrum, bandwidth reconfigurability can be implemented by changing Brillouin gain linewidth. In this paper, a scheme using a 5-lines optical comb acting as a Brillouin pump is experimentally demonstrated. The spectrum of the 5-lines optical comb is extended by a binary phase shift keying(BPSK) pulse modulated signal. Experiments have shown that the 3-dB and 20-dB bandwidths of the filter are 196 MHz and 257 MHz, respectively, and its 20-dB shape factor is 1.31. The passband ripple is ～3.5 dBm with stop-band rejection of 20 dBm under 15 dBm optical pump power.

BACKGROUND Tracheal tumors may cause airway obstruction and pose a significant risk to ventilation and *** to its rarity,there is currently no established protocol or guideline for anesthetic management of resection of upper tracheal tumors,therefore individualized strategies are *** are limited number of reports regarding the anesthesthetic management of upper tracheal resection and reconstruction(TRR)in the *** successfully used intravenous ketamine to manage a patient with a near-occlusion upper tracheal tumor undergoing *** SUMMARY A 25-year-old female reported progressive dyspnea and *** showed an intratracheal tumor located one tracheal ring below the glottis,which occluded>90%of the tracheal *** patient was scheduled for *** the risk of complete airway collapse after the induction of general anesthesia,we decided to secure the airway with a tracheostomy with spontaneous *** surgeons needed to transect the trachea 1-2 cartilage rings below and above the tumor borders:a time-consuming *** and movement needed be minimized;thus,we added intravenous ketamine to local anesthetic *** tracheostomy,an endotracheal tube was placed into the distal trachea,and general anesthesia was *** surgeons resected four cartilage rings with the tumor attached and anastomosed the posterior tracheal *** performed a video-laryngoscopy to place a new endotracheal ***,the surgeons anastomosed the anterior tracheal *** patient was extubated *** Ketamine showed great advantages in the anesthesia of upper TRR by providing analgesia with minimal respiratory depression or airway collapse.

The unified chaotic system contains the Lorenz system and the Chen system as two dual systems at the two extremes of its parameter spectrum. This paper presents the design of bang bang controller for unified system and multitude of numerical experiments under various control parameters. Numerical experiments meet the theoretic proof perfectly and convincingly demonstrated the controller can be effectively used for unified systems with uncertainty of the equilibrium points. The method enriches the applications of chaotic control.

Background Men who have sex with men （MSM） have become one of the most risky populations for HIV infection in China. Though several cross-sectional sero-prevalence studies have been conducted, the annual HIV incidence remains unknown in this population.Methods We applied IgG-capture BED-enzyme immunoassay （BED-CEIA） to define the recent HIV-1 infections among MSM in Beijing in the years 2005 and 2006 and the annual HIV incidence was estimated.Results Overall, 1067 MSM samples were collected, including 526 samples in the year 2005 and 541 in 2006. In 2005, of 17 HIV seropositive samples, 7 were identified as recent HIV-1 infections and the estimated HIV infection incidence was 2.9% per year （95% CI, 0.8%-5.0%）. In 2006, of 26 HIV seropositive samples, 9 were identified as recent HIV-1 infections and the estimated annual incidence was 3.6% （95% CI, 1.3%-5.9%）, which was 0.7% higher than that in 2005. Individuals engaging in male group sexual intercourse （5.17% vs 0.87%, P=0.019） and having receptive anal sexual intercourse more than five times （2.79% vs 0.33%, P=0.047） in the past 6 months significantly increase the risk of being infected by HIV-1.Conclusions A high level of annual HIV-1 infection incidence was observed among MSM in Beijing for the consecutive years 2005 and 2006 with a continuous increasing trend. The rising incidence and related high risk behavior among MSM alarmed the health authorities and calls for more effective intervention strategies among this population.

苏合香为我国常用进口中药材,在汉代即传入我国,苏合香作为中药始载于《名医别录》。该文通过梳理古今中外本草、现代文献资料,并结合对苏合香产地的实地考察结果,对苏合香的名称、质量评价、基原、产地及采收加工进行了系统的品种变迁考证。结果表明,自古以来苏合香便存在基原不明、产地不清的情况。我国历代医药学家多从质地、黏稠度、气味浓度、颜色4个方面对苏合香进行质量评价。苏合香品种共发生过2次变迁,第一次变迁可能在隋唐时期,基原由南欧安息香Sty⁃rax officinalis变迁为苏合香树Liquidambar orientalis。第二次变迁在近现代,基原由苏合香树变迁为北美枫香树***。在基原第二次变迁的同时,产地发生了第一次变迁,由小亚细亚南部地区的土耳其、叙利亚等国变迁为中美洲地区及北美洲南部地区的洪都拉斯、危地马拉等国。该文对苏合香质量评价、基原、产地、性状与采收加工等多方面的历史沿革进行了考证,同时对苏合香在西方国家的应用进行了综述,可为苏合香的进一步开发利用提供历史依据。

护肝布祖热颗粒治疗药物性肝损伤的疗效观察

目的探讨护肝布祖热颗粒治疗药物性肝损伤的疗效及安全性。方法选取我院61例抗精神病药致药物性肝损伤患者,随机分为观察组(30例)和对照组(31例)。对照组在常规抗精神病用药治疗的基础上服用甘草酸二铵胶囊,观察组在常规抗精神病用药治疗基础上服用护肝布祖热颗粒,比较两组患者治疗6周后的临床疗效、肝功能及不良反应发生情况。结果观察组治疗6周后,肝功能谷丙转氨酶(ALT)、谷草转氨酶(AST)降低,指标优于对照组(P<0.05)。治疗后两组中医症候积分均有明显改善(P<0.05),且两组患者均未见明显不良反应。结论观察组在降低抗精神病药所致药物性肝损伤患者肝功能ALT、AST指标上优于对照组,起到较好的保肝护肝的作用,可有效帮助患者改善恶心呕吐、口干口苦等临床症状,且用药安全,值得临床推广应用。
