Background:The open reduction and internal fixation(ORIF)was a standard treatment approach for fracture at distal humerus intercondylar,whereas the optimal way before ORIF remains ***,therefore,performed a systematic review and meta-analysis to assess the efficacy and safety of olecranon osteotomy ***-sparing approach for patients with distal humerus intercondylar ***:The electronic searches were systematically performed in PubMed,EmBase,Cochrane library,and Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure from initial inception till December *** primary endpoint was the incidence of excellent/good elbow function,and the secondary endpoints included Mayo elbow performance score,duration of operation,blood loss,and ***:Nine studies involving a total of 637 patients were selected for *** were no significant differences between olecranon osteotomy and triceps-sparing approach for the incidence of excellent/good elbow function(odds ratio[OR]:1.37;95%confidence interval[CI]:0.69-2.75;P=0.371),Mayo elbow performance score(weight mean difference[WMD]:0.17;95%CI:-2.56 to 2.89;P=0.904),duration of operation(WMD:4.04;95%CI:-28.60 to 36.69;P=0.808),blood loss(WMD:33.61;95%CI:-18.35 to 85.58;P=0.205),and complications(OR:1.93;95%CI:0.49-7.60;P=0.349).Sensitivity analyses found olecranon osteotomy might be associated with higher incidence of excellent/good elbow function,longer duration of operation,greater blood loss,and higher incidence of complications as compared with triceps-sparing ***:This study found olecranon osteotomy did not yield additional benefit on the incidence of excellent/good elbow function,while the duration of operation,blood loss,and complications in patients treated with olecranon osteotomy might be inferior than triceps-sparing approach.

BACKGROUND In recent years,approximately half of the newly diagnosed cases and mortalities attributed to hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)have been reported in *** the high incidence of HCC,there remains a paucity of data regarding the natural growth pattern and the determination of optimal surveillance intervals specific to the Chinese *** To quantify the natural tumor growth pattern of HCC in regional *** A retrospective analysis was performed on patients from a single institution in Southwest China who had undergone two or more serial dynamic computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging scans between 2014 and 2020,without having received any anti-cancer *** growth was assessed using tumor volume doubling time(TVDT)and tumor growth rate(TGR),with volumes measured manually by experienced *** univariate linear regression and descriptive analysis were applied to explore associations between growth rates and clinical *** This study identifies the median TVDT for HCC as 163.4 d,interquartile range(IQR)72.1 to 302.3 d,with a daily TGR of 0.42%(IQR 0.206%-0.97%).HCC growth patterns reveal that about one-third of tumors grow indolently with TVDT exceeding 270 d,another one-third of tumors exhibit rapid growth with TVDT under 90 d,and the remaining tumors show intermediate growth rates,with TVDT ranging between 3 to 9 *** The identified TGRs support biannual surveillance and follow-up for HCC patients in certain regions of *** the observed heterogeneity in HCC growth,further investigation is warranted.

Objective: To investigate the effects of evodiamine(Evo), a component of Evodiaminedia rutaecarpa(Juss.) Benth, on cardiomyocyte hypertrophy induced by angiotensin Ⅱ(Ang Ⅱ) and further explore the potential mechanisms. Methods: Cardiomyocytes from neonatal Sprague Dawley rats were isolated and characterized, and then the cadiomyocyte cultures were randomly divided into control, model(Ang Ⅱ 0.1 μmol/L), and Evo(0.03, 0.3, 3 μmol/L) groups. The cardiomyocyte surface area, protein level, intracellular free calcium([Ca]i) concentration, activity of nitric oxide synthase(NOS) and content of nitric oxide(NO) were measured, respectively. The m RNA expressions of atrial natriuretic factor(ANF), calcineurin(CaN), extracellular signal-regulated kinase-2(ERK-2), and endothelial nitric oxide synthase(e NOS) of cardiomyocytes were analyzed by real-time reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction. The protein expressions of calcineurin catalytic subunit(CnA) and mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatase-1(MKP-1) were detected by Western blot analysis. Results: Compared with the control group, Ang Ⅱ induced cardiomyocytes hypertrophy, as evidenced by increased cardiomyocyte surface area, protein content, and ANF m RNA expression; increased intracellular free calcium([Ca]i) concentration and expressions of CaN m RNA, CnA protein, and ERK-2 m RNA, but decreased MKP-1 protein expression(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Compared with Ang Ⅱ, Evo(0.3, 3 μmol/L) significantly attenuated Ang Ⅱ-induced cardiomyocyte hypertrophy, decreased the [Ca]i concentration and expressions of CaN m RNA, CnA protein, and ERK-2 m RNA, but increased MKP-1 protein expression(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Most interestingly, Evo increased the NOS activity and NO production, and upregulated the e NOS m RNA expression(P<0.05). Conclusion: Evo significantly attenuated Ang Ⅱ-induced cardiomyocyte hypertrophy, and this effect was partly due to promotion of NO production, reduction of [Ca]i concentration, and inhibition of CaN and

Background Currently,there are no reliable indicators for predicting intravenous immunoglobulin resistance and coronary artery lesions in the early stage of Kawasaki *** A total of 300 patients with Kawasaki disease were studied *** data were compared between the intravenous immunoglobulin resistant (29 patients) and responsive groups,and between the groups with coronary artery lesions (48 patients) and without coronary artery *** The intravenous immunoglobulin resistant group had significantly higher D-dimer,globulin,interleukin-6 and serum ferritin levels in comparison to the intravenous immunoglobulin responder group.D-dimer level had a sensitivity of 87.0% and a specificity of 56.3% for predicting intravenous immunoglobulin resistance at a cutoff point of 1.09 mg/*** had a sensitivity of 62.1% and a specificity of 82.3% for predicting intravenous immunoglobulin resistance at a cutoff point of 34.7 g/*** ferritin level had a sensitivity of 42.9% and a specificity of 88.8% for predicting intravenous immunoglobulin resistance at a cutoff point of 269.7 ng/*** patients with coronary artery lesions had higher D-dimer and tumor necrosis factor-α level.D-dimer level had a sensitivity of 50% and a specificity of 78.6% for predicting coronary artery lesions at a cutoff point of 1.84 mg/*** on analysis by multivariate logistic regression,serum ferritin and globulin were independent risks for intravenous immunoglobulin resistance,D-dimer was independent risk for coronary artery *** Elevated serum ferritin,globulin and D-dimer levels are significantly associated with intravenous immunoglobulin resistance in Kawasaki ***,serum D-dimer is significantly increased in Kawasaki disease with coronary artery lesions.

Si-N-C Nanowires Derived by Polyhydridomethylsilazane Pyrolysis

The preceramic polymer, polyhydridomethylsilazane, was synthesized and pyrolyzed at 1873 K in nitrogen atmosphere to prepare Si-N-C nanowires without using any catalysts. The diameters of the nanowires were from tens of nanometers to several microns, and the maximum length of the nanowires reached several hundred microns. The nanowires had no bulbs or droplets on the tips. However, two different bulbs with diameters of several microns were observed, and one bulb was covered by nanowires all around, while the other bulb had nanowires just covered on its handle.

目的探究C1ql1基因在不同发育阶段小鼠耳蜗细胞中的表达特点及在内耳发育中的作用。方法选取出生后1 d(P1)、7 d(P7)、14 d(P14)、28 d(P28)、56 d(P56)的KM小鼠各6只进行耳蜗基底膜铺片、耳蜗中轴冷冻切片及免疫荧光染色,采用共聚焦显微镜观察不同发育阶段小鼠耳蜗中C1ql1基因的表达特点,通过逆转录聚合酶链反应、Western blot检测不同发育阶段小鼠耳蜗中C1ql1基因的表达量变化。结果发育期小鼠耳蜗螺旋神经节细胞、毛细胞中C1ql1基因表达量随年龄增长逐渐增加。P1小鼠耳蜗无C1QL1蛋白条带,P7、P14、P28、P56小鼠耳蜗C1QL1蛋白条带均可清晰显影。P1小鼠C1QL1蛋白未明确表达,P7平均光密度值与P14、P28、P56比较,差异均有统计学意义(P0.05)。C1ql1基因在听觉发育关键期小鼠耳蜗听神经纤维有一过性表达,出生后7 d表达最高,成年后消失。结论 C1ql1基因在小鼠耳发育和听觉功能形成过程中起着重要作用。

目的分析绝经前后子宫内膜癌的临床病理特征。方法126例子宫内膜癌确诊患者为研究对象,根据是否绝经分为绝经组(84例)与未绝经组(42例)。比较两组临床病理特点。结果绝经组年龄55~76岁,平均年龄(61.1±7.6)岁;未绝经组年龄26~54岁,平均年龄(46.7±5.2)岁,绝经组年龄大于未绝经组,差异有统计学意义(P0.05)。绝经组排液9例(10.7%),未绝经组3例(7.1%),比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。绝经组腹部疼痛21例(25.0%),少于未绝经组的22例(52.4%),差异有统计学意义(P0.05)。绝经组合并高血压疾病36例(42.9%),多于未绝经组的4例(9.5%),差异有统计学意义(P0.05)。绝经组合并子宫肌瘤24例(28.6%),未绝经组13例(31.0%),比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。绝经组子宫内膜样腺癌80例(95.2%),其他特殊子宫内膜癌类型4例(4.8%),未绝经组子宫内膜样腺癌42例(100.0%),其他特殊子宫内膜癌类型0例,比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。绝经组中病理分级G1级14例(16.7%),G2~G3级70例(83.3%);未绝经组中G1级18例(42.9%),G2~G3级24例(57.1%)。两组病理分级比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。两组手术分期比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论绝经前后子宫内膜癌患者的临床病理特征存在明显差异,可为临床诊断与治疗提供有利支持。
