Water splitting hinges crucially on the availability of electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution *** surface reconstruction has been widely observed in perovskite catalysts,and the reconstruction degree has been often correlated with the activity ***,a systematic study on the roles of Fe substitution in activation of perovskite LaNiO_(3)is *** substituting Fe content influences both current change tendency and surface reconstruction ***_(0.9)Fe_(0.1)O_(3)is found exhibiting a volcano-peak intrinsic activity in both pristine and reconstructed among all substituted perovskites in the LaNi_(1-x)Fe_(x)O_(3)(x=0.00,0.10,0.25,0.50,0.75,1.00)*** reconstructed LaNi_(0.9)Fe_(0.1)O_(3)shows a higher intrinsic activity than most reported NiFe-based ***,density functional theory calculations reveal that Fe substitution can lower the O 2p level,which thus stabilize lattice oxygen in LaNi0.9Fe0.1O3 and ensure its long-term ***,it is vital interesting that activity of the reconstructed catalysts relied more on the surface chemistry rather than the reconstruction *** effect of Fe on the degree of surface reconstruction of the perovskite is decoupled from that on its activity enhancement after surface *** finding showcases the importance to customize the surface chemistry of reconstructed catalysts for water oxidation.

Spin-orbit torque （SOT）,as a promising writing method for magnetic random-access memory （MRAM）,has garnered widespread interest for over a decade [1].Heavy metals,such as β-W,have been broadly adopted as spin current sources,but suffer from phase change at a limited thickness,resulting in a dramatic reduction of the charge-tospin conversion efficiency θSH[2].The thickness limitation leads to stringent etching conditions and large distribution among devices,posing challenges for simultaneously satisfying SOT efficiency,etching-stop margins,and back-end-ofline （BEOL） compatibility.

CO_(2) photoreduction into carbon-based chemicals has been considered as an appropriate way to alleviate the energy issue and greenhouse ***,the 5,10,15,20-tetra(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin cobalt(II)(CoTCPP)has been integrated with BiOBr microspheres and formed the CoTCPP/BiOBr *** as-prepared CoTCPP/BiOBr-2 composite shows optimized photocatalytic performance for CO_(2) conversion into CO and CH_(4) upon irradiation with 300 W Xe lamp,which is 2.03 and 2.58 times compared to that of BiOBr,*** introduced CoTCPP significantly enhanced light absorption properties,promoted rapid separation of photogenerated carriers and boosted the chemisorption of CO_(2) *** metal Co^(2+) at the center of the porphyrin molecules also acts as adsorption center for CO_(2) molecules,accelerating the CO_(2) conversion into CO and *** possible mechanism of CO_(2) photoreduction was explored by in-situ FT-IR *** work offers a new possibility for the preparation of advanced photocatalysts.

In cognitive radio （CR）,power allocation plays an important role in protecting primary user from disturbance of secondary user. Some existing studies about power allocation in CR utilize ＇interference temperature＇ to achieve this protection,which might not be suitable for the OFDM-based CR. Thus in this paper,power allocation problem in multi-user orthogonal frequency division multiplexing （OFDM） and distributed antenna cognitive radio with radio over fiber （RoF） is firstly modeled as an optimization problem,where the limitation on secondary user is not ＇interference temperature＇,but that total throughput of primary user in all the resource units （RUs） must be beyond the given threshold. Moreover,based on the theorem about maximizing the total throughput of secondary user,equal power allocation algorithm is introduced. Furthermore,as the optimization problem for power allocation is not convex,it is transformed to be a convex one with geometric programming,where the solution can be obtained using duality and Karush-Kuhn-Tucker （KKT） conditions to form the optimal power allocation algorithm. Finally,extensive simulation results illustrate the significant performance improvement of the optimal algorithm compared to the existing algorithm and equal power allocation algorithm.

Although the medium access control （MAC） signaling has been well-defined in the 3rd generation partnership project （3GPP） long term evolution （LTE） specifications, the scheduling algorithm crucial to guarantee QoS performance, still remains as open issues. In this article, a traffic-based queue-aware scheduling （TQS） algorithm is proposed for evolved nodeB＇s （eNB＇s） MAC scheduler in 3GPP LTE broadband wireless networks. The proposed TQS is divided into three sub-algorithms： firstly, the authors propose a traffic model construction （TMC） algorithm which can construct a discrete-time Markov-modulated Poisson process （dMMPP） to represent each flow. Secondly, a newly traffic state estimation （TSE） algorithm is designed to obtain the queue＇s analytical statistics. Thirdly, based on the derived results of TSE and the channel states, a scheduling action decision （SAD） algorithm is presented that can adaptively allocate bandwidth to flows by considering both queue states and spectrum efficiency. Simulation shows that the TMC and TSE algorithm can capture the fluctuation of traffic and queue accurately. Moreover, compared with a widely accepted traffic-based scheduling algorithm, the proposed TQS has better average queue length and overflow probability performance.

Due to the constraint of single carrier frequency division multiple access （SC-FDMA） adopted in long term evolution （LTE） uplink, subcarriers allocated to single user equipment （UE） must be contiguous. This contiguous allocation constraint limits resource allocation flexibility and makes the resource scheduling problem more complex. Most of the existing work cannot well meet UE＇s quality of service （QoS） requirement, because they just try to improve system performance mainly based on channel condition or buffer size. This paper proposes a novel resource scheduling scheme considering channel condition, buffer size and packet delay when allocating frequency resource. Firstly, optimization function is formulated, which aims to minimize sum of weight for bits still left in UE buffer after each scheduling slot. QoS is the main concern factor here. Then, to get packet delay information, this paper proposes a delay estimation algorithm. Relay node （RN） is introduced to improve overall channel condition. Specific RN selection strategy is also depicted in the scheme. Most important of all, a creative negotiation mechanism is included in the subcarrier allocation process. It can improve the overall system throughput performance in guarantee of user＇s QoS requirement. Simulation results demonstrate that the scheme can greatly enhance system performance like delay, throughput and jitter.

Peer-to-peer technologies have attracted increasing research attention with fruitful protocols and applications proposed for wired networks. As to mobile environments, there are currently no mature deployments. A novel resource managing and discovering protocol, Cheer, is proposed to realize scalable and effective peer-to-peer lookup in wireless self-organized networks. Cheer resolves the topologies mismatch problem between peer-to-peer overlay networks and actual nodes distribution, allowing for frequent nodes membership changes. With specially designed resource storage table, Cheer also supports multikey and fuzzy lookup. Its hybrid architecture and improved routing scheme based on small-world theory may realize effective lookup routing. Theoretical analysis and simulation results both prove that Cheer makes using peer-to-peer applications in large-scale self-organized mobile networks feasible and promising.

Acute liver failure(ALF) is a reversible disorder that is associated with an abrupt loss of hepatic mass, rapidly progressive encephalopathy and devastating complications. Despite its high mortality, an emergency liver transplantation nowadays forms an integral part in ALF management and has substantially improved the outcomes of ALF. Here, we report the case of a 32-year-old female patient who was admitted with grade Ⅳ hepatic encephalopathy(coma) following drug-induced ALF. We performed an emergency auxiliary partial orthotopic liver transplantation with a "high risk" graft(liver macrovesicular steatosis approximately 40%) from a living donor. The patient was discharged on postoperative day 57 with normal liver function. Weaning from immunosuppression was achieved 9 mo after transplantation. A follow-up using CT scan showed a remarkable increase in native liver volume and gradual loss of the graft. More than 6 years after the transplantation, the female now has a 4-year-old child and has returned to work full-time without any neurological sequelae.

A Creative Approach to Reducing Ambiguity in Scenario-based Software Architecture Analysis

In software engineering, a scenario describes an anticipated usage of a software system. As scenarios are useful to understand the requirements and functionalities of a software system, the scenario-based analysis is widely used in various tasks, especially in the design stage of software architectures. Although researchers have proposed various scenario-based approaches to analyse software architecture, there are still limitations in this research field, and a key limitation is that scenarios are typically not formally defined and thus may contain ambiguities. As these ambiguities may lead to defects, it is desirable to reduce them as many as possible. In order to reduce ambiguity in scenario-based software architecture analysis, this paper introduces a creative computing approach to scenario-based software requirements analysis. Our work expands this idea in three directions. Firstly, we extend an architecture description language(ADL)-based language – Breeze/ADL to model the software architecture. Secondly, we use a creative rule – combinational rule(CR) to combine the vector clock algorithm for reducing the ambiguities in modelling scenarios. Then, another creative rule – transformational rule(TR) is employed to help to transform our Breeze/ADL model to a popular model – unified modelling language(UML) model. We implement our approach as a plugin of Breeze, and illustrate a running example of modelling a poetry to music system in our case *** results show the proposed creative approach is able to reduce ambiguities of the software architecture in practice.
